Christian vs. Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio

i would like to see edge vs christain vs alberto del rio for the WHC at wrestle mania 27, of course, i dont believe it will happen but it would be a good match.

First time poster, and big Christian fan, but sadly I just can't see the match becoming a Triple Threat. I for one was somewhat interested in a Del Rio vs Edge match for Wrestlemania and I was very much bored looking at the Miz vs John Cena but now its completely the opposite. They have built the Miz vs Cena much better than Del Rio vs Edge and honestly throwing Christian into the mix would make it interesting. However unless Christian turns heel I can't see him being added to the world title equation, and Smackdown is heavy on heels and they need Christian to run his course as a face for the time being, and have a few good weeks teaming with Edge as a main face on Smackdown. However if Christian has any chance of ever holding the title it will be after Mania, and the only way it happens is if he turns heel and attacks Edge after Edge retains at Mania against Del Rio. But that is assuming Edge retains and creative has any plans of strapping the title with Christian at some point, which I just can't see happening.

Wow, as much as im a Christian fan, to call him boring and terrible is pretty harsh and inaccurate. You are entitled to your opinion but when you have no evidence to back up why you are trashing Christian it makes you consideribly less credible.

Christian's in ring skills are pretty good and although I haven't heard a whole lot of his mic skills as a face, he was absolutely amazing on the mic in 2004-2005 when he was a heel.

It won't be a triple threat at Wrestlemania, however the reason I would consider it a good idea is because Del Rio vs Edge just doesn't seem to have a lot of credibility as a grand stage match because im still trying to process my feelings towards Del Rio because of how fast he's being pushed, Christian would add a new angle to that match.

I for one think this is a great idea, the fued in my opinion was losing its steam and didnt really have much of a back story to it. Christian being brought into the match will not only add a "rivalry" feel to the match, and add the backstory of christian and edge being best friends. As a long time christian fan im hoping this will result in a christian heel turn(maybe tweener type role)!

This triple threat wouldn't make any sense, Del Rio earned his shot at the belt by winning the royal rumble, what gives Christian the free ticket? Christian has always been a better heel than face, so it would make more sense if Christian cost's Edge the belt at WM.

Yeah, I read that too. You know why posted it, Dave Meltzer. One of the biggest idiotic wrestling journalist's ever. Seriously, this guy those Undertaker vs. Brock Lesner was gonna happen.

Anyway, I can see it as a possiblilty, but just because some joker who think's he's a good journalist who get's 95% of his stuff wrong, and is known to just make up stuff, does'nt make it valid. Until it's announced on Smackdown, I don't believe it.

I do hope this ^ happens, although, I do not think that you have to turn Christian heel. I'm usually not a fan of Triple Threat matchers at WM, but I think Christian can add a ton of value to this match.

Christian is in great shape and can do more in the ring that Edge can. Thus, we should see some pretty interesting spots between Christian & Del Rio, and between all 3 men.

While I do not think Christian will walk out with the WHC, it still is a good vault into full time status as a headliner. Edge has already discussed retirement and has been pondering the possibility of calling it quits for quite some time.

I think Del Rio wins the WHC after Edge & Christian cost each other wins. But as TheManOf1004Holds suggests, this addition give the WWE many different options for the WHC scene.

I think WWE is anxious to get the belt on Del Rio, and this could be the ideal way to do it, since I doubt they want Alberto to go over Edge cleanly. Plus, if Edge and Christian accidentally bump each other out of the way so Del Rio can take the title, it sets up a program for the two "brothers" to fight each other. After their initial tag team success, WWE always seemed more comfortable with Edge and Christian on opposite sides, and this is an opportunity to arrange that.

It's true that Christian hasn't earned his way into a title match since coming back from injury, but it's hard to argue against him showing up in anything that has to do with Edge.

I never really like having more than two competitors in the ring for a title match, but this one would go down well with the three of them.

Well its funny especially looking at earlier posts as this is now the most likely WHC match at Wrestlemania.

Frankly, I don't want to see it happen I would much rather have Edge vs Del Rio instead. Not a knock against Christian but he really has no place in this match. Sure he was injured by Del Rio and has a long history with Edge but he has never been in a main event feud and he has never been a main eventer which makes it odd that they are just throwing him in a title match at Wrestlemania. Christian is a great talent and can be a main eventer but WWE never put in the time to make that happen which is why Christian being there now is a mistake.

Christian being in the main event at WM27 is the equivilant of putting Hacksaw Jim Duggan in the main event of WM7 with Hogan and Slaughter. You can make sense of it booking wise (since Duggan is so pro american) but the fact of the matter is Duggan was never a main eventer so he really has no business in the match (which is why he wasn't in it in the first place). If you want Christian to become a main eventer put him in a feud with Del Rio AFTER mania and do it that way. Christian really doesn't belong in the main event so don't put him there.
