Chris Sabin Is A Record Setting 7-Time X Division Champion

After the odyssey of feuding with Bully Ray and the Aces, Sabin seemed to have broken down searching for some form of excuse or reason for his misfortunes. Several months later, after much bragging and self-indulgence, Chris Sabin defeated an X Division "All-Star" line up in Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, Jeff Hardy and then-champion Manik to establish a record. Along with AJ Styles and Jay Lethal, Chris shared the record for most X Division Championship reigns at 6. But his win at Bound For Glory rewrote history as now he's surpassed the former Black Machismo and TNA's World Champion. All thanks to the aid of his beautiful girlfriend, Velvet Sky who he used to distract Jeff Hardy and use the ladder he brought in the match earlier.

What's next for the former Machinegun? Will he feud with Manik? Jeff Hardy? Austin Aries? Will a new challenger come along? One things for sure. With the major line up the match had, they better follow up with a big challenger. Maybe Jeff Hardy?

Although I would rather see Sabin feud with Aries, I think we should expect Hardy to step up and challenge him. Jeff would be a good choice as far as bringing a little more prestige to the title, but ultimately if they are planning to give him the title they could of had him win it at BFG.

My reasoning for Aries vs. Sabin is pretty much the same as the next guy's, they would have an AWESOME feud together. Also, with Aries getting the eventual win for the title in that feud, it would open the door for TNA to return to the Kenny King vs. Aries feud that they kind of started and ended in like, three weeks?

Before Chris Sabin's heel turn, I wouldn't have ever seen him as a heel. Everything about him just screamed natural face. From his career threatening injuries to winning his first world title against Bully Ray, I wouldn't have expected Sabin to turn heel. Ever.

We'll he is now and he is the new x division champion and imo this could lead to an interesting and maybe entertaining reign he could have. And the challengers he could go up against could lead to great matches and having someone like Jeff Hardy in the division, surely gives it abit more prestige and attention. Velvet Sky is also an interesting factor in Chris Sabin's favour after all, he did use her to win the title so I could maybe see her dumping him or a heel turn for Sky and another heel power couple in Tna? One things for sure, I am a definitely looking forward to what happens next in the X division.

I like how Sabin has held every version of the X-Division belt.

Moving onto what he does now. Ideally a fued with Aries would be cool. The similar sizes and styles and how Sabin has held it the most and Aries has held it the longest. However I still don't know what's supposed to be happening between Aries and Kenny King so that might be occuping Aries for a bit.

The simple thing would be a fued between Sabin and Manik however that just seems to simple and doesn't really do much for either guy.

A fued with Hardy would certainly put Sabin over and give him something meaningful to do (something he hasn't been doing since dropping the world title) The factor of Velvet Sky would play into this a lot.
