Chris Jericho is overrated

Jericho is so overrated.

He was such a clown on the mic, and still some few idiots talk about him being great on the mic lol. Jericho was just a clown in my opinion that got a supermega push when he left WCW to WWF.

I never understood why he got pushed against Austin. Austin owned Jericho everytime they fought.

Now Jericho comes back once in a couple of years and doing some job, getting paycheck.

The guy is so overrated it's pretty insane. I think Jericho is the most overrated star by IWC, casual fans barely care about the guy.

Legit question, why do you punish yourself and us with these silly threads? I mean do you really hate everyone, but Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Jericho is fine. He is not a clown on the mic, he's one of the best on the mic. And who cares if he got a "supermega" push. He deserved it and didn't disappoint. He is quite good in the ring, if you have ever watched any of his matches.

He comes back every once in awhile for two reasons. One is he loves this sport and as long as he can still wrestle, then why not? No point waiting until he can't do anything to try and have another go.

The second reason is he comes back to help put newer talent over. I won't include Bray Wyatt in that statement, others have tried there and failed as well. And you now what kudo's to Jericho for doing that, he doesn't have to. When he does come back he works, he doesn't do a Brock Lesnar. He doesn't win a title and then pisses off and we never see him again.

Jericho can come back whenever he wants in my book.

The short runs are annoying, not cos they are short but more that WWE doesn't do anything truly meaningful with them anymore. Chris took unfair flak for the Bray feud, the issue was that Jericho wasn't that big a deal this time out... they hadn't rebuilt him enough. It beggared belief that "they couldn't find anything" at Mania when there is the 10th IC title to be won... that was a Mania 30 moment if ever there was one, Jericho winning the milestone.

He returned the same night as Miz, if they could have gotten one more PPV out of Jericho everything would have been fine. Miz is fine with losing, set up the minifeud with Miz, settle it with a decisive on PPV victory going towards Jericho...hell make Miz tap. Then later on in the night they had the battle royale for the IC belt right? So have Jericho come close to winning it just for Bray to interfere and cost him. That idea works perfectly, Jericho/Bray starts up later which would keep it fresher, Miz loses so he gets his stunt double thus giving him some edge enough to win the belt from Ziggler(if that was still the plan). Granted hindsights 20/20 right

Or they could have had it be a threeway feud from the start and knock Miz out of it early on? Had the battle royale end with Jericho winning it. He'd raise the value on it. Miz and Bray have unfinished business with him so they both are trying to get the belt, Bray takes it at the end of the feud to be a placeholder champion until...as someone says on here frequently, Barrett returns to a huge face pop to take his belt back

I don't know I think Jericho was very good though if were talking about overrated I say Alberto Del Rio

- Royal Rumble winner

- MITB winner

- 2 time WHC champ

- 2 time WWE champ

why WWE pushed him so hard is absolutely beyond me I thought he was a decent mid card champ ( IC , US, or TAG title champ at best and that's me being generous )

Y2J will make the hall of fame someday, and with all his success in and out of the ring im sure he really worried if some ass clown on the internet thinks he is over rated

to para phrase an eyebrow raising friend of mine.... " IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK"

stupid thread
