Dude, Friends was AWESOME and IS the greatest sitcom of all time, with Married... with Children in second. Most of what you listed sucks balls, man.
Simpsons? Crap. And shouldn't even be considered a sitcom to begin with. It's a fucking cartoon. And if cartoons were allowed in the tournament, then South Park and King of the Hill should get voted over that ******ed nonsense.
King Of Queens? Jesus Christ... beyond crap.
Everybody Loves Raymond? Overrated as hell and nearly all the actors on there were douchebags in real life anyway.
The Golden Girls? Also crap. I don't care if the old chick is dead or not. That show sucked.
Curb You Enthusiasm? Okay... I've seen a couple of episodes and it's not bad. But HBO shit shouldn't count as a sitcom.
And I never watched The Office in the UK, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (which has always looked stupid to me and doesn't really seem like a sitcom anyway), and Arrested Development (which is probably a good show considering the actors in it).

It sucks, however, that we won’t be able to argue about this in a tournament since it looks like the damn video game tournament is going to win. I appreciate the hard work Lee and Sam are undoubtedly going to put into it, but man… I just know Goldeneye, Street Fighter 2, and GTA: San Andres are going to be the only three games in it I give a damn about or even played for that matter. I never played a Zelda game in my life. The only time I had Link playable as a character was in Soul Calibur 2 for the Gamecube. And Final Fantasy… never played that boring crap, either. And I don’t even know what the fuck OoT is referring to. But here are the greatest video games of all time in my book:
Goldeneye
WWF No Mercy
Street Fighter 2
Punchout
GTA: San Andres
Mario Kart
The thing is though, I wouldn’t be able to actually argue why those are better then shit like Zelda and Final Fantasy, whereas I’d be able to go on all day why Friends is ten times better then shitty fucking Golden Girls.

Yes, and I lie Sunny in Philly. VERY funny stuff. But it gets stale after a little while and I found it impossible to get invested in and care about the characters. I cared what happened to Ross and Rachel, and I cared about the relationship between Will and Carlton, and I cared about if Gilligan and co. ever got off the island. I enjoy Philly as entertaining, but find it impossible to get wrapped up in a character. And that's HUGE to me in a sitcom.
Same with Scrubs. When Ben (Dr. Cox's brother in law) died in Season 3, I balled for like 5 minutes.
But it wouldn't, Jake. You know, a lot of Americans aren't even aware of Peep Show. Surprised me too. I imagine they'd find it hilarious, judging by Friends, Seinfeld, Family Guy...
