Testicles. That is all.
I think that those two forums should be merged. I love both places, and it is great to be able to just spam and mess around and talk about insane stuff, but I honestly cannot find the difference between the two. As far as I can tell, the rules are basically the same.

Just a suggestion. If there are valid reasons for having two forums, then ignore me. :)

Chit Chat forum is not a spam forum, and spamming and flaming is not allowed.

Which is why nobody ever posts there. I think merging the two of them would be a good idea as well...or, instead of "merging", just do away with the Chit Chat room, and step up the expectations of the Bar Room. Like, actual topics to be discussed, not threads like "I farted and it smelled bad".

There fine as they are. Chit Chat is for serious subjects. Bar Room is for bullshit. I'm going to make a point of making more topical threads in Chit Chat.

To elaborate on this. I have a few plans and ideas for the "chit chat" thread that will encompass some serious debate, so everyone please make it a point to check in.

As has been mentioned, Bar Room is where you go to get your spamming fix. "Chit Chat" will be for non-wrestling, non-music, non-movie related debate and discussion topics.

This wouldn't be a new section. I'd mearly alter the Book This section ever so slightly. That section isn't terribly active. But I don't think it needs to be gotten rid of. Changing it slightly would make it more active.

There appears to be a lot of colums going on the main site. So we could use it as an extra avenue for discussion. I'm not on about the Exclusives columns. They have their own section. But all the writers on the main forum. In the Exclusives sections I doubt anybody really gives a shit about the opinions of non-wrestlers. You go in there to flame Konnan or defend TNA.

Obviously you can post your own columns. As Will has expressed an intrest in doing.

So it would be for stuff like IC25 did with that Meeting of Pro Wrestling, Boxing and MMA thread? It would be interesting as a whole to see this happen. I would contribute Essays and stuff as I write them in between Assignments and Life. Seems like a good idea.

I think it's definately an interesting idea, I'd like to know more about how you are going to go about modifying the BT Section, as in how would the Columns and Fantasy Booking Fit in together?

It's just a way to save on space. I know there was one before and it wasn't successful (OnceWalkerr was very good at columns fact fans). The Book This section is pretty dead. May as well put them together. If it get's plenty of intrest then it can have it's own section.

If you open it, I may as well do one if I have time. I often want to vent but can never find just the right thread to do it in. Besides, Will will be posting books on an hourly basis even if no one else uses the thing.

Why not? Hell, it gives the newsite a free trial for if it wants to find new writers and if someone is really good, maybe it will turn a few heads and they'll get their first paycheck when you and Jonny do.

You funny.

The colums that are non exclusive are usually pretty unpopular. Which is a shame as they're more intresting than what Exclusives, bar Kelly & Hudson come up with.

I'm also sure that the blokes who write them would like to know what people think of them.

Ill also use it, and write a column every couple weeks or so, given how much time I have on my hands, and how much ive got goin on in my head (generally not much)...and I think discussing the WZ columns will also be a good source of conversation.

Anybody can write one? I wonder about if some new posters are gonna just start writing crap with no meaning or maybe use it to flame people. I am for it, I am just curious about the rules on it.

DIAR brings up a great point. there should be a post count requirement, or a MOD/admin permission requirement, to ensure that we dont get long disjontled barely understandable voyages of pure shit. Some of the permission slips can be everlasting (such as Will) and whomever else you choose to freely write columns. Everyone else should have to have X number of posts and mod/admin permission.

And I also thing it would be a good way to organize it if every WZ "column writer" got to have their own thread, IE "Mighty NorCals columns" and the like. That way, if there is a certain poster you would enjoy reading, you can go to their thread, and see what you want. Also, this would help columns not get buried or disjontled by various discussion. Not trying to take over your idea Jake, just throwing out some suggestions that I hope are helpfull.

So just out of curiousity, are we going to get our own "section." Meaning are we going to get our own little mini section within the Book This! section? Or are we just going to be allowed one thread, and we come back to it, to post countless times?

Either way, I'm definately in for writing my own column on anything and everything as it relates to my views on Professional Wrestling.

The Way i would do it, you start a thread for each new collum, the way you would post it would be something like this The Problems With Pro Wrestling Today (name of article) by Draven Filth (name of user) This way you can post your collum, and then discussion could happen directly under the collum to make it easier on everyone on the site. For Each New collum, you post a new thread. In order to qualify to write collums you would have to ask permission from a moderator/admin, in which case they can A. Accept you then and there, or B. You send in a sample Collum to the moderator, they look at it, and decide like that.

Anybody else?

They're posted for the most part in the Exclusives section. But Do you really want Marty2Hotty commentating on your well thought out column? Me neither. You can make your own column and we'll also fill it up with the gents of the main site.

I am interested in posting a few columns. The may not come weekly as Norcal suggested but I'd be interested in contributing.

i dont care if marty replies, if its good i can utilize it in some way, if it sucks i can simply pretend it dosent exist, but im not gonna talk about sharkboy much, or disco inferno so i wont have his interest anyways.

It's up. No rules yet. But there will be.

Post count is on.

Rules of the top of my head:

Give a proper review if you wish, but short ''that's good'' can be made via rep comments.

Go off topic, I really don't mind. Go where the conversation takes you.

But the spam rule will be enforced.

Forgive me if this has been explained elsewhere, I can't find any details on it... but what's happened to the "Exclusives" section of the forums? This was by far my favourite part of these forums, despite the ridiculous arguments and people trying to get themselves over. It was really cool to have respected personalities from the world of wrestling posting among us.

Did it all get too much? Were posters acting like assholes? Were the hired personalities acting like assholes? What happened? :headscratch:

The only issue with the Exclusives section was that it was no longer within the budget of Wrestlezone to keep these personalities on the board Full-Time. It is possible that they will come back and make special appearances and such, but nothing has been set in stone at this time.

It's Shadows idea so it's up to him. But does anyone else want to see a wrestler of the week section. A new thread for each WOTW.

Example: Week 50: Scott Steiner

That way it'll be easier to dip into and find past ones. I can edit the current thread into 49 different threads.

Yeah go with it. But KB and the dude that posts all of the ICP shit are going to be taken over for a bit. But I would keep the first four in together as they are no done as well as from about Week 5 on.
