I've plenty of doubts of matches being fixed. Not just because Pakistan won. But still.
Bowling was bad except Bhuvi. Batting was even more bad except Hardik. The latter performed well, at least.
Pakistanis were totally focused in the match. More active than earlier. More driven to win.
Keeping the same team doesn't help. Jadeja and Ashwin bowled well in the last year but they were totally out of touch in the final. Too much leg side bowling. Maybe they are too tired.
Another thing commendable about Pakistan was that they had a mix if experience and young players. Someone new like Fakhar Zaman, Hasan Ali. Even Shadab. India had.... Well no one. Why not give Pant an opportunity in such a big tournament? Uthappa? Why does Yuvraj keep his place?
Also, commentary keeps hyping each batsmen as someone who's good at chasing and then that batsman gets out. Lol.
Talent is there. But wrong selection doesn't help. Not to forget an arrogant captain who's toe to toe with the coach itself.
Sehwag, please leave commentary. And also the nonsense about dad, son and grand son. For God's sake.

I don't think that it was fixing, more of arrogance and under-estimating the opponent.
Also, Kumble has resigned as coach due to "irreparable differences" with Kohli.
Social media is cancer these days. People can't digest the fact that Pakistan did play better. Indian team winning in Hockey just gave them something to babble about.
