Oh Dear God. IT'S A STORYLINE! There has been absolutely no media coverage of this. The Undertaker suffered a concussion and a broken Orbital Bone during his match with Rey Mysterio last week on Smackdown! Because he will not be able to compete at the Fatal Four Way PPV, The WWE needed to write him out of the storylines, so they are going with this angle. He is in fact alive and well.

If "Kane" found "The Undertaker" "dead" then it's apart of a storyline people! 1st of all, whenever a wrestler actually dies, it's blasted all over wwe.com (which it wasn't). 2nd of all, Vince HIMSELF, NOT KANE, would have come out and made a historic announcement! Did that happen??? NO. 3rd, why would Kane's character make this announcement that he was "found dead?" Unless Kane (Glen Jacobs) was the actual person who killed The Undertaker (Mark Calloway) in real life, ala Chris Benoit, then it's apart of a storyline. And to think, sites have been mentioning that Taker might be off the Fatal 4Way PPV anyway...Gee people, so if I said that flying pigs existed, then someone would believe that too...

The only thing that has been news worthy regarding the Deadman at the moment is the fact he is injured and won't be Main Eventing Fatal Four Way. You can find it on the main page. And the fact that his kayfabe brother "found him" is even more suspicious. I smell fake.

It would be way too easy to make a joke referring to the stupidity of this thread, so I'm just going to simply say that this is a storyline because Undertaker got injured, and they needed to write him out of Fatal 4-Way and Goddammit you're pretty fucking stupid.
However, this injury did bring some pretty compelling television and for the first time in months, I'm actually interested in Smackdown. WWE has been on a roll lately and this Smackdown has been excellent and unpredictable so far.

He cannot be dead or else it would be all over this website and possibly the news. The only thing I don't understand about this storyline is why they would say he is dead when he is the DEADMAN! He is supposedly already dead! Why can't they just say he was injured like they said about Edge when he was injured?

Taker is injured, and they can't very well say REY MYSTERIO, of all people took out the most iconic star in WWE right now. So, it's an opportunity to set up a feud for Taker when he returns (or for Kane now) and to not turn Rey heel by saying he broke Taker's face.

Zigglerfan227, you hit the nail right on the coffin (all pun intended my friend). His character is that of the deadman, hell his nickname is the deadman, so why on earth would they say he died? Like, that's so damn stupid, and I wonder if Taker signed off on that angle. Like, what, is it supposed to come out later on that Kane had something to do with his mysterious death (which I feel is the way they're probably gonna go with this anyway)? Besides, how many times has Taker "died" anyway? Wasn't he burned to death by Kane, buried alive BY KANE, etc etc...Just wondering...
Actually, I heard it was really Triple H dressed as Kane that found Undertaker; he then proceeded to pretend to have sex with the Deadman's body.
That is also why Triple was written out of storyline; the Sheamus/neck injury thing was to remove all suspicion when the Undertaker turned up dead, because everyone knows he couldn't commit murder/necrophilia if he's at home "recovering" from "neck surgery." If only Triple H could have stopped the message boards from finding out so damned quickly...

Well I guess the only way the Undertaker can "Die" in a storyline is that he became the American Bad Ass again. I can see it on WWE.com right now......... "Tonight the Undetaker was found alive in his home by Kane. A motercycle was found in the driveway and the Undertaker was cutting his hair while Kid Rock was blarring in the background. This is a sad day for all wrestling fans"

yes the undertaker died. in real life. do you remember when other people have died? you head testimonials from other wrestlers. each match was dedicated to that person, if the show even was to go on. but he really died and the WWE just decided to ignore it. Did you even think for one second to check WWE.com or to oh I don't know.... WATCH THE DAMN SHOW!!! If the real Mark Callaway was dead then it would be all over WWE the storylines and all kayfabe would be dropped and they would go right into a tribute show especially for this guy. Don't you think it will be all over WWE.com? Do you think it would possibly be on his wikipedia page? Do you think they would have a tribute on smackdown showing clips from his past things he did in the WWE? Even for when Shawn Michaels was retiring they showed clips of Shawn Michaels past so if the undertaker died why wouldn't they show clips of his past. I can't beleive you believed that for a second.
