Can People Really be Credited for Their 'Zingers'?

When you think about it, a comeback should only be considered a good one if it's said in real life, around 3 or so seconds after the initial topic was raised. People on here do think of a lot of comebacks, but could they do it in real life when they don't have the luxury of the 30 seconds to a minute to type out their zinger and perfect it? I think not.

It's still a comeback if it's over the internet, but I'll always consider e-comebacks to be the equivalent of a very late comeback in real life...

People get the same zingers off me in the flesh. Probably better ones. I don't have to worry about my bad spelling when I speak.
