Cm Punk will never be the Rock, because there was only one Rock. No one can recreate that. Rock was one of a kind. No one will even be able to mirror Rocky. Don't get me wrong, Punk is great. He is easily one of the best heel's if not the best heel in the business today. Orton isn't and hasn't been in the last little bit. Orton's rise as a heel really went south earlier this year. He had a great run, that was put to rest with his lose at Mania. He shouldn't have lost there, but that is for another thread.
Punk has been built into a great heel. One that has charisma, great on the mic, and puts on great matches. Punk has been on top of his game for the better part of a month now. His turn was brilliantly done. He is a different kinda of heel. Rock was a loud mouth jock who wanted to talk. While Punk points out he's better than us like The Rock did. He does so by pointing out all of our flaws. Our addictions, to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and so on. He gets under our skins by pointing how we have these things, and he doesn't, because he's "stronger.'' Personally I think that is better than someone like Jericho or Rock who just says there better. Because these are things we deal with everyday. I smoke from time to time, and he calls me out on it. I think it's brilliant. Rock didn't do those things. He just came out and said, I'm going to do this because I can. To be honest I think it's what separates Punk from every other heel. In my mind it makes him better. I don't remember a heel that got under our skin like Punk, who sent a fan favorite home, and after his feel good moment, hit him in the back of the head. Or come out a call The Undertaker's gimmick a fake. To me Punk is starting to be come one of the greatest heel's there has been in a long time.
