Burn Notice

This was a great episode, but I was mildly disappointed. The ending was fantastic, and an A+ ending at that. I just assumed that the Jesse-Michael situation was going to take up the whole episode, instead the first 45 minutes were just like any other episode this season.

This season, I like what they did with their episode structure. In the first 3 seasons, The episode would start with an intro, usually involving Michael and his Burn Notice, and a start something that will help him find more information about that (example: Michael arranges a meeting with somebody about his Burn Notice). Then they next half hour of the episode would be a job Michael would do. Then the last Ten minutes would be Michael talking with the client, usually at a restaurant, or some other meeting place (or at his loft.), with the client thanking Michael for the Job. Then a commercial. Then Michael would go to the meeting that was scheduled at the start of the episode, and something would happen, maybe not big or surprising, but something will happen, then the episode will end with something else that would push off the next episode.

Now this season, there's 4 people on the "team", which means instead of Michael working solely on the job, it's half and half. Michael spends some time working on the job, while two others, whether it be Jesse or Fi, or Fi and Sam, work on the job, while Michael and Jesse work on their Burn Notice. It makes the episode a lot better and makes the plot a little easier to lift, and I like that in a show.

Obviously Michael will live, I'd be shocked if he doesn't, but I think what the real cliff hanger is, who was the person who picked up the briefcase with the Bible in it. Was a Vaughn, Simon, Jesse even? Or was it a new character to be introduced?

Great show it better be a good ending for what I'm waiting for. Watching it tommoro. It looks awsome though

My thoughts on last night's episode were kind similar to The Sullinator's. It was a good episode, but I was mildly disappointed (which I guess happens when you expect greatness), and I was a little disappointed there wasn't more focus on Jesse vs. Michael. Jesse showing up to "save" Michael wasn't near as exhilarating as it should have been.

31 and a half hours until Burn Notice!

My guide says
"Michael intervenes when a vengeful lawyer starts killing off gang members; Michael and Jesse try to track down a stolen document."

Great episode tonight, the only reason I hate Thanksgiving is b/c it makes the next Burn Notice episode come two weeks from now.

Good episode. Seems Jesse is finally coming around, although we may see a twist and have him screw over Michael. Maybe they'll get the bible, and Jesse will destroy it, leaving Michael with only a little bit of information about his burn notice.

Was the Natalie chick from a previous episode, or was she just new. It seemed like both Michael and Fi knew who she was from the past. Maybe I was wrong, but she looked quite familiar as well.

The auction thing is going to be..interesting I should say. Can't wait...how long do I have to wait? What...they're skipping an episode for Thanksgiving? Stupid Pilgrims...interfering with my Burn Notice. :)

That Natalie bitch was either last season or two seasons ago, she stole Barry's ledger and basically tricked Fi into letting her go, then she escaped into a group of children...

I found her to be quite annoying, especially this time around, and I didn't really find the writing to be consistent as far as her character is concerned.

Overall It was an enjoyable episode, and now that Jesse seems to be back on track I expect the future episodes to pick up a little bit.

If you paid any attention to what she said, she was the one who stole Barry's ledger and at the end of said episode basically told Fi to fuck off.

Yeah I heard her say that, and I remember something about Barry getting his whatever stolen, and remember pretty well about Fi aiming her down with a scope before she went into a big group. Just didn't remember the character/name. But it's starting to ring a bell.

I was looking at the episodes this season, and the last two episodes are both dated for December 16th. Looks like there having two new episodes in a row to end the season? That should be exciting. We have 3 more weeks of Burn Notice left though, :(

I'm guessing we'll have to wait till March or April for a new season, if we're lucky February.

Finally! We got screwed out of a week. 3 more weeks of Burn Notice. 3 more weeks of Burn Notice.

My tv guide says
"Brotherly Love"
Michael must bring back an old alias to save Nate; Sam and Jesse travel to the Dominican Republic.

This defiantly sounds like a great one here. We have this week, next week, and then the week after that, we get two episodes in one night! Not sure if this is good or bad, but I'm going to take it as a good thing. They probably wanted to get it finished up before Christmas. The next Thursday would be the 23rd. It's a good thing for me, because I'd be at the Steelers vs Panthers game that night, and wouldn't be able to catch it.
