Bully Ray Teasing a WWE Return?

I think you have it backwards. That's probably made him realize he should stay the hell away from WWE TV. Don't get me wrong. He's talented. But for one, he is way past the kind of age WWE wants. Secondly, he's not exactly the kind of guy you'd want on a kid friendly show. Thirdly, they'd mangle his character like many others. And finally, it's fucking Bubba Ray Dudley. The WWE fans never saw his metamorphosis in TNA happen. If he shows up in WWE, Anyone who recognizes him will wonder where Devon is. And anyone who doesn't will ask what the hell did Ryback do to himself.

Road agent would be his best spot in WWE. Funny enough, he's one in TNA already. His idea is probably to keep pushing for Punk to come to TNA. Which is even less likely.

I wouldn't mind seeing him or devon coming back and being Paul Heyman guys going 4 tag title or devon midcard title and bully world title. He'd b a great heel and fresh on wwe tv n his bully ray character. He needs 2 bring his chain w/em as well

Though, I'm 98% sure Sting is still with TNA. If he were signed with WWE, he'd have appeared by now.

Just because Sting has not signed with the WWE yet does not mean that he's still with TNA.

Bully Ray may very well have more overall value than Sting or AJ Styles. He is a role player that WWE needs.

And why's that?

Bring Bully Ray into WWE,

As Bully Ray or as Bubba Ray, I thought you wanted him returning as the latter?

this instantly places Bully as a top guy, him being a natural bully places him as the exact thing all the faces in WWE are supposed to hate

Winning a match in brutal fashion does not place him as the "top guy." He's a heel, heels aren't "top guys," they're supposed to be hated upon. Sure there's the odd few that will still cheer him on but as the heel, you're not supposed to be the "top guy." The top guy is the biggest draw, heels aren't big draws and if they were, the TNA figures are lying to us. They would have been higher last year had the World Champion been a big draw.

All he needs to do is a "Do you all remember me? You know what, I don't care if you do, you're all just another in a line of people who are going to get their asses kicked."

It's the WWE. They're likely to keep him for what he's known by the majority as; Bubba Ray Dudley. Not many WWE fans watch TNA so how would they know where this gimmick has come from? Like Killjoy had stated, the WWE Universe will be asking about his tag team partner's whereabouts. Now assuming they do allow him to use the Bully Ray character, there's only so much he can go as far as trash talking is concerned. They're TV-PG, bear that in mind.

Set him loose on the WWE upper midcard. Profit.

Because he did wonders for TNA didn't he?

His idea is probably to keep pushing for Punk to come to TNA. Which is even less likely.

Bully did in fact tweet that he wants CM Punk in TNA. So you're probably right, he may think TNA is the right place for CM Punk. That's all that the message could have meant. Why else would he add @ImpactWrestling to that tweet? That doesn't make any sense unless he wants to put his job in jeopardy, but I can't imagine why. From what I've read he's happy where he's at, especially if he wants Punk with him in TNA. It could also mean a face turn. I don't know why he would remain a heel in TNA so he may have meant giving back to the fans what they want to see. On a side note, you don't know CM Punk. When he threatened to leave WWE (Kayfabe) in 2011, he said he would go to ROH or NJPW. He's angered with the WWE right now, I would imagine a lot after they toyed with the Chicago crowd so a jump to TNA isn't a complete no-no to get his message across.

I don't see Bully Ray or Bubba Ray Dudley, or any other moniker you want to give him, coming anywhere near a WWE ring. My guess is for an assortment of reasons, they would have absolutely no interest in his services and truth be told, other than a potential financial boost, I doubt he has any significant interest in returning there either.

He is messing with people. My guess is he will say at some point that after seeing RAW and how they have mismanaged CM Punk, he has no interest in them at this point, making any supposed career decisions easier. At the end of the day, he is probably happier being a big fish in a little pond, than being a role player elsewhere.

Can't imagine too many people caring about a Bubba Ray Dudley return to WWE.

It's already been said, but he can't use the Bully character in WWE for obvious reasons, and without Devon to form a tag team, there's no point in adding Bubba to the roster, because he doesn't have enough solo star power to help any young wrestlers on the rise.

You have to take cryptic statements from wrestlers on Twitter with a handful of salt. More often than not, a lot of wrestlers (especially heels) use Twitter to toy with fans, leading them down a rabbit hole of speculation with no real promises or confirmations to back up their tweets. I'm sure Bully is just messing with everyone, because at this stage in his career, a solo return to WWE is a waste of time, and I'm not sold on the WWE brass having any interest in him whatsoever.

Expecting for this to lead to nothing more than a segment hinting at his retirement/leaving and then he attacks a face. Or something like that.

But if he does go to WWE, cool. He's done a lot in TNA, and showed his range as a singles competitor. Pretty good run and it would be interesting to see him get a change of scenery. He's done it all in TNA.

I don't see him going back to WWE, there is no real reason for him to go back. I'd see his career being similar to Tensai, getting lost in the shuffle within weeks of coming back, & Bully Ray doesn't deserve that. TNA pushed him as a singles star & he's quite deserving of it.

If Bully Ray was to leave TNA, I'd probably see him & Devon go to Japan or do a retirement tour for a year or so.

Him & Devon have their own wrestling academy, they'd both easily become agents as well if they wanted.

Why would Bully Ray want to leave his cushy job in TNA where he's in an elevated position to return for a mid-card role in WWE? I bet he's one of TNA's highest paid stars and he's given the freedom to do pretty much whatever he likes. A return to WWE would mean a reformation of the Dudley Boyz which, in the future, will happen anyway. Once he's a free agent he & D'Von will get a short run just like the New Age Outlaws did recently, followed by a job behind the scenes.

May as well ride the TNA rollercoaster for as long as possible, even if he has nothing left to do in the company.

I don't see him getting a great singles push if he does go back to wwe so they would probably want to reform the Dudleys and make them the anchor of the tag division. Considering he has spent the last few years developing a singles career, something wwe couldn't do for him, I don't see that as appealing to him. Plus, they probably wouldn't recognize his TNA/Japan title wins anyways. Personally I hope he stays in TNA but from a financial view, it makes sense for him to go back as long as he doesn't care about what he does there.

I attended the London taping of Impact, and Bully Ray was there and made an appearance...I was expecting to see the footage last night but it is VERY interesting that TNA seem to have decided against using it.

I don't want to get complaints for spoliers, but since the impact has now been shown, is it ok for me to explain what happened at the event that was never broadcast?

I read the spoilers when it was first posted and it just sounded...random.
What I read was that
Bully runs down to the ring and gets into an argument with Joe, which Bully gets put through a table
. It was strange not seeing that at the end of Impact.

Yep, exactly that happened...it was a big SHOCK to all of us there live as it didn't make any sense and I thought it would add a twist to the main-event plot. However, I think its very telling that it wasn't included on the broadcast. There is a brief youtube clip here, although it doesn't really do it justice:

There was a great pop and it was a great way to end the night...interesting to see where this goes from here. Is it because of the change to the Lockdown card?
