Bryan VS Kane = Punk VS Taker?

King Of The Ring
Last year, the Taker/Punk feud was lacking compared to the previous feuds Taker has been in going into WrestleMania.

It wasn't until the death of Paul Bearer that the feud picked up with Punk using Bearer's death in the storyline.

Bryan just became WWE WHC Champion, he's back in a feud with Kane. Kane is expected to wear his mask again and be the "monster" again tonight.

However, next week is the go home edition of RAW before Extreme Rules, Bryan missed last week's RAW for his honeymoon and I expect the storyline to pick up.

Just to get fans more interested into this match up to give it a big fight feel and not another Summerslam 2012 rematch, you think creative would capitalize off Bryan's father death and incorporate it into their storyline?

There's almost no chance of this happening. Paul Bearer was a close friend of Taker's and WWE officials were given permission from Bearer's sons to involve Bearer's death as part of the storyline. Paul Bearer, AKA Percy Pringle III and who's real name was William Moody, was also someone that'd been involved in wrestling since the 1970s, he was part of the business. He also never stopped being a fan and his sons, who would've known better than any of us, have said that he'd have thought it great that he was still playing a big part in a WrestleMania match. Daniel Bryan's father, however, is not in the business. I saw a special on the WWE Network a little while back about Bryan, sort of a mini documentary, and Bryan very briefly mentions his father at the beginning of it. I forget what he said he did for a living but, in any case, he was just a hard working blue collar guy. As a result, I don't see WWE involving his death in any sort of storyline or angle, at least not in this sort of way.

They don't need to, Bryan just got married to Brie Bella. If they wanna make it personal and give this match a big fight feel, have Kane go after the new bride. They're more likely to capitalize on their marriage and incorporate it into their storyline.
