Bring back MNM

ok so i was just thinking with the possible break up of ses joey murcury has 3 options:

1) he can job on superstars
2) he can get released
3) the smackdown move to syfy will bring new people to the brand. now what if morrison turns heel and they reform mnm with or without melina. they both had good work as a tag team and both have no where to go. that would also add another tag team. thoughts on this subject?

That'd be a huge step down for Morrison and a step down for Melina, for the sake of giving a rub to Joey Mercury. JoMo is running kind of slow right now, but with a heel turn and a quick push, he's right back to the upper midcard. Melina is doing just fine on her own.

Joey Mercury has had no momentum going for him and he's injured for a few months. After that, he'll have a season in hell a la Chris Masters; a long period where he's going to have to prove himself as a reliable, clean worker, jobbing to people who job to others.

It damages JoMo and Melina's stock for the sake of giving a push to a guy that draws questions when you wonder if you can depend on him. No thanks.

I think an MNM reunion would work very well, but only if they turn Joey Mercury face. That way, JoMo and Melina don't far too far down. Plus, the WWE needs new tag teams anyway, and I don't see JoMo getting a great title run with R-Truth at all. But all 3 are doing very well for themselves and/or with SES, so I highly doubt any reunion would happen.

So it wouldn't be MNM,
It would be MMM,
Whick looks and sounds kind of stupid

2. Melina is the only thing I look forward to for the Raw Diva Divsion, and i shudder at what I might have to see every week if she were to step down

When I think JOMO, I think of ripped abs and a kick ass match,
When I think of Mercury,
I think of him getting busted up with a ladder

Mercury is out for 4-6 months from what I have read so if it does happen it wont be soon. I however dont want it too, put Mercury in a group with some random star and make them a tag team or just release him. Morrison doesnt need to get out of the mid card and upper mid card level he is just starting to shine.

Morrison should definitely not reunite with Mercury, he is above that now. JoMo should be one of the wrestlers getting boosted to main event status within the next year or two, while Mercury is simply a jobber or low to mid-card wrestler.

If WWE want to keep Mercury around, he should probably be put with a new star as a tag team, maybe they could change his name and totally repackage him? He was only in the SES for a real short time, and most new fans wont even know him from MNM, so the opportunity is there for a repackaging.

To be honest though, Mercury was only good as Joey The Future Matthews in ECW in the early 2000s, in the WWE he has always sucked. Nitro (Morrison) was the star of MNM, and Mercury has always bored me loads in WWE

I dont think that would do anyone any good. JoMo just got a huge win over Y2J on raw and seems like hes finally getting a push (i know way too early to tell but ya). Plus melina is in a unification match at NOC. I know you probably mean when Mercury heals from his injury in 4-6 months, but still it just wouldnt do anything for him. Being paired with Morrison at this point doesnt exactly make you relevant or mean something (ex. Eli Cottonwood anybody?)

As much as I miss MNM, I don't see them bringing back MNM just to give Mercury something to do. Especially with his arm being injured. Melina is at her peak of popularity now, and JoMo is doing pretty well himself and as much as people LOVED seeing the theatrics of that group, it would behoove WWE to fix what isn't broken right now. Mercury would be better suited getting better and biding his time for something else. You can't always force things back together, just because it worked one time, doesn't mean it will work again. People can reach a limit with somethings. Just like if you grow up working in a McDonalds your teen years, you will end up hating it later on in life. I think this would be comparable to that.

NO! NO! NO! It would be a huge step down for both Melina and Morrison to reform MNM (MMM now) and anyway Mercury is out for at least 3 months. Melina is arguably the face of the divas division so the divas division losing her would be a huge loss and is already suffering, Morrison has been running slowly as of late but he will be sure to speed things up in the next few months and hopefully will be nearing main event level soon enough and Mercury is and will always be that guy who got clobbered by the ladder and therefore wearing that stupid face mask. I know that in alot of my posts I say something about the WWE tag team division suffering as of late but Morrison is too good to be put into a tag team, Mercury should form a tag team with Gallows because Punk doesn't need them.
