bring back defunct ppvs

there were a lot of badass pay-per-views in the 90s. Speaking of which what I really miss is the concept of In-Your-House.

I just thought it was cool-sounding. Like how they'd have the little house set-up on the stage and stuff, and each one would be named, essentially after the main event. It was a great way to promote talent, and you'd hear the words In-Your-House for like 6 or 7 events a year.

They should bring that concept back to a certain extent and rollover pay-per-view names. I think that would satisfy everyone.

the "in your house" concept was ******ed imo. it made the WWE look too immature. honestly, who puts a house on the stage and seriously thinks that it looks good?

I never liked in the In Your House PPV concept. I feel WWE has bigger things to worry about rather about PPV names. Though i do like the idea of going back to one PPV a month as i think that will draw more fans as into buying a PPV again and keeping the same PPV name for each month will also help fans as name familiarity.

Everyone talks about brining the KOTR back and thats good in all but i think the Money in the Bank match at WM is the new KOTR in my own opinion. You have to quailfy to get in and if you win you get a title shot and its for more establish stars. The KOTR has had it moments but they have been some failures that have become king and i just dont think WWE will go that route again.

In all cut the PPV's to one a month and they should be fine and they could even escap with 10 PPVS though i know Mcmahon never go for that and i think be good to get rid of the Feburary and April PPVS of Backlash and No Way Out. Reason being better build up to Mania and more lasting effect of manian in turn more people will buy it.

i think the kotr full turnament and ppv needs to be brought back, the in your house ppv concept was kinda cool but i think the kotr should be brought back first

More PPV's would kill the company finacially speaking. A lot of people all ready stopped ordering because of all the TNA PPV's and plus WWE's 2 PPV's a month or so. The buyrates would go down. I think they need to start doing one ppv a month if anything since there deciding to use all brands on every PPV. This would make people order more ppv's because it would give them enough time to get enough money to purchase a $40 ppv monthly.

The PPV name's aren't the problem....how about give us quality shows?..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.............that's all I get now...

I would like to see some name changes to the PPV's and go back to one event per month, that way storylines have atleast four weeks to build up or even longer if they want to espically with the tri-brand now. This would be my line-up for the year.

Jan. Royal Rumble- Its the 2nd biggest ppv of the year and is the WM starting block
Feb. Massacre- Play off the St. V-Day Massacre PPV of the 90's
Mar/April- Wrestlemania- Need no explaination
April- Badd Blood- what better name for the carry over of WM then Badd Blood
May- Vengeance
June- KOTR or Invasion- Might be a good spot for PPV in another country
July- TGAB- It just goes with the 4th of July theme
Aug.- SummerSlam- One of the orginal 4 so cant really change it
Sept.- Fall Brawl or Unforgiven-
Oct. Havoc- Dont want them to copy WCW, but really like the name Havoc as a PPV
Nov. Survivor Series- to me this the reason why there is not a event with War Games rules.
Dec.- No Way Out- Move it to the end of the year, concept is Main Event is in a Hell in the Cell

I feel the names do not matter with WWE anymore. Unless they are going to upgrade their content to the standard it was back then, then there is no point. I hope, as I have mentioned in other threads, that they keep KOTR going on an inter-brand basis.

I like the idea of having a PPV on a Tuesday - right after Raw - so bring back Taboo Tuesday : )

They changed it to cyber sunday, but Cyber Tuesday would be funny! Does it have the same ring to it?

I agree though, tuesdays, right after raw are excellent for shock title changes, comebacks, etc.

There are too many PPV's now. I think it is a bit much to expect people to buy a PPV every single month. PPV's should be less frequent and more special. Let's face it, a weak PPV is no better than a strong RAW.

I suggest the following PPV's:
Wrestlemania
King of the Ring
Royal Rumble
Survivor Series (on Thanksgiving Eve where it belongs!)
Summerslam.

That's it. That's enough. That gives you enough PPV's for one every 2 months or so.

I like that idea of going to just five PPVs. Then in the months you dont have one have specials like SNME or Night of Champions.

Jan. Royal Rumble
Mar/April Wrestlemania
June KOTR
August Summerslam
November Survivor Series

i agree but instead of five have the origonal five and bring back fall brawl world war three i really liked the three ring set up halloween havoc and as far as fall brawll i really think they could do some good thing,s with 3 brand,s in wargames
