Bret Hart's Role In Building The Attitude Era

Bret played a vital role in the development of Th WWF Attitude, even after he left for WCW. Most of the main storylines fed to Bret Hart even after he was gone (Michaels, Vince, Austin, Screwjob finishes). He is up there with Shawn and Austin as pioneers of the new era. I made other important points in a previous post, I just think its interesting that the storylines still fed to Bret when he was with the competition and they had no problems saying it.

Bret Hart definitely deserves credit for helping build the attitude era. He was the first guy to have somewhat of a feud with Vince, and him turning heel after so many years of being a face (like hogan) played a huge part, and that's what wwf was aiming for, changing the landscape, and launching the wwf into a new generation of attitude.
