Break It Down! (Kinda Long, But Please Read)

I'm sure as you have all heard about signs being taken away at shows... this proves my point from my last post, Vince is trying to dictate us. To Mr. Highlight Reel, I fully agree with you, that no matter how crappy it gets, or how big of a stink fest Vince feeds us, we will tune in every night to see what happens. Its a gimme, but Vince needs to acknowledge his competition and listen to the fans. He can't think that he can take away signs and edit out what the fans chant (unless its previously taped, like Smackdown and ECW) but live shows will be the biggest problem, and its also said that they take away heel support signs. So... if I have a Mr. Kennedy sign... its gonna be taken away from me... but yet... I paid for my ticket. I paid him! I bought the damn ticket, I can say what I want. Sure, ok, I can see him wanting to take away TNA support signs. But I can't cheer for the bad guy? That is ridiculous. That was my point when I compared him to Hitler (which I still amuse myself that I did that.) Now, I'm sure you all know that I respect wrestlers, I say it time and time again, they are able to do what I'm not able to do. And cudos to Mr. Highlight Reel for being a part of it. But anyway, I would very much love to be a part of wrestling as a writer or character developer. But, applying in a thread is not how I would go about doing it at all. I'm not gonna get a job after complaining on a wrestling site. Instead I am trying to get my foot in the door (hoping to get a chance to talk to my friend who wrestles in a fed about an opening if they have one.). I do think that if Vince read not only this thread but a lot of others as well, (highly unlikely.) he would see that his appeal is starting to shudder. It may not show in the ratings, but I admit to taping TNA sometimes, just to see whats going on. Taping a show will not show up on the ratings. If TNA were to lengthen their show, then I think they would be able to give Vince the fire under his ass again. I openly admit that there were some nights back in the day when I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch Nitro or Raw's main event. And the thing that sometimes decided it for me, was how hard one show bashed the other. They took pot shots at each other. I don't think Vince quite grasps that concept in his head. If he came out on Raw, and addressed the crowd about TNA, it would get peoples attention. But if he didn't want to acknowledge TNA, then he needs to give us something better, cause I honestly do believe that TNA could start uprising. VKM could hault that little fiasco by doing one thing. WWE! Not Raw and Smackdown and ECW. Make it one fed again. Because he's relying on his own business for competition. He thinks the rating wars of Raw and Smackdown is the only thing keeping him afloat. In some ways it is, in some ways it isn't, if Mr. Kennedy were on Raw, I would have no desire to watch Smackdown. If Jeff Hardy went to Smackdown I would have no desire to watch Raw (My two fav. wrestlers at the time, since Kurt Angle went to... oh... TNA!.) Vince lacks the flare that was once awesome. He needs it back, he built a business on fan reaction. And lately the fans are reacting, by chanting his rivals. The more pigheaded he is about it, the more its going to happen. Its gotta be affecting the wrestlers, because fans chant it in the middle of their matches (which I don't agree with.) I agree with chanting it every time Vince showed his face though! Because he needs to address it. He needs it whether he wants to admit it or not. It's finally happened, someone else to destroy in ratings. NOW DO IT VINCE!

I just had something told to me, and I didn't realize it until a couple hours ago, one of my friends just told me that VKM is a TNA stable... so, I probably just made myself look like a goober in front of everyone... so, any previous mentioning of VKM I have said in earlier posts was in reference to Vince McMahon, and not the TNA stable... whoever is in it... I think my friend said Road Dogg, or whatever he calls himself now...

I like to refer to him as "the drug addict" or how about "WWE reject".

Do you guys not think tht we see way too many of the same moves in all the matches. You pretty much see a comeback with like 7 clothelines and an backdrop and a suplex in every match. It gets boring and repetitive. It was good to see new mives every once in a while but the wrestlers commin through jst now with few exceptions jst dont hav any original ideas for new moves. Like Cena's fireman carry, Lashleys dominator and bloody spear, ho many times r we goin to see this move used by ppl and Batasta with his sit down powerbomb. They r the champions tht the WWE offers. Thts why i like the backcrace from Carlito, its a move tht he can do to any1 and it looks as if it does hurt. And also, how many ppl who first start get the finisher like a swingin neckbreaker usin their legs i mean wat is tht. And i know it is easire said than done to come up with new moves, but if wrestlers in TNA can do it, then i cant c how WWE wrestlers cant.

I know I have probably been missed, but my month so far hasn't been the greatest. But I am back, and I would like to start with saying that, I do believe at this point this thread is not restricted to just Raw topics. But, I'll get to that part a little bit later, now, its time for me to do what I do best. Entertain to the best of my ability and generally debate. I agree with you jbremner2, I said earlier that I hated watching someone stay on the mat for 2 min after a back body drop. I can almost pin point what I think is the biggest problem though, and I'm not sure if it has been addressed yet or not... does anyone else realize how many matches are cut off half way through by commercials... I'm tired of seeing John Cena come out, fight for 3 minutes. Get thrown into the ring steps and cut to a commercial. It makes me mad, cause I half watch John Cena's matches... but still, it happens more often in the main event! Mid card matches are in danger of the commercial scare too. But no matter how many times you tell me that Umaga is a Samoan Bulldozer, if he can knock Cena's ass out in 3 minutes and lay around or prance around the ring for another minute and a half until they come back from commercial... know what, I might have it all missed up, cause live events aren't chopped up, I'm sure the audience doesn't have to watch a Subway commercial with John Cena... while I wait eagerly to see whether or not the wrestlers will be on their feet or not. Sometimes I don't even try to guess the winner, I just guess whose gonna be standing when it comes back from break.

I'm getting off track. Move sets need improved to a max. But not only that they need to start realizing that not everyone can do the same damn move. New moves are hard to make up, and IMO this like... what is it... the double 450 B.S. that looks ridiculous. Not in the good way either. If your gonna flip forward twice in the air and come down and hope to hell you land on the guy, your gonna be crippled quicker then the Ultimate Warrior at a G-Unit concert. It looks cool, but it stops there, the move literally looks like it has zero effect on the opponent. The Spear is washed up, a spear isn't even a spear. IMO again, Rhino is the only one that has ever done anything with it, cause it looks menacing when he does it. I can think of 5 people that use it (or variations of it) as a signature move or a finisher. Edge by far does it the best... when its done on Jeff Hardy as Jeff dangles 15 feet above the ring. I saw one thread making fun of the Sweet Chin Music. I would like to add my two cents to this and say there is a difference between HBK tuning up the band and the copycat super kick. HBK can sell that thing for all its worth and make it look horrifically brutal. Standard super kicks fail in comparison.

One problem I really have with move sets and people wrestling is that not many people are willing to take off from the mat. Test used to do a diving elbow drop. Now a days it looks like he is so hopped up on steroids I think if he tried to drop the bow again his arm might tear completely off, causing his brain to kick into over drive with testosterone which would then lead him to picking up his own detached arm and beating everyone upside the head with it as he cries tears of anger and blames the ring crew for the mishap. (That would be a good angle for ECW).

If there is one thing that could probably solve this problem is let wrestlers wrestle other damn people... JUST PUT ALL THE BRANDS BACK AS ONE! But, just... for the love of God, can we go a night without seeing Cena get screwed over by Umaga. Can we see Edge wrestle someone other then HBK. If you want someone to get over as being dominant don't make em wrestle the same damn person! The Master Lock challenge thing might suck, but at least he is working with all kinds of different people.

All in all, WWE is just bad... bad cards... bad matches... in that order... the matches are scheduled horribly and the match themselves sometimes sink the rest of the show. I think the only reason people were getting a rise out of Raw on Monday was because everyone thought Austin was coming back that night. McMahon probably thought it was a good show... It was decent... but we wanted Austin... anticipation is good... but don't make us wait too long...

On a closing note, I would like to say that I have been up for almost 40 hours without any sleep, I drank a ass load of Mountain Dew and just wasted almost everyones time by writing this, but hopefully, it does get read. Later all.

I dont know if this is the thread to write this in but im writing my opinion anyways....i think wwe is getting boring more so Raw. I thought the whole K-Fed Storylines and the Rosie Vs Donald match and now Vince's obsession with Donald Trump, is a waste of time. No-one wants to see it, 1. No-one likes K-fed and 2. Rosie Vs Donald has nothing to do with wrestling. There has been many stupid storylines recently, and having storylines that go way past their expiry date eg. I think Cena Vs Edge has gone on WAAAYYY too long. They have so much talent at Raw yet, that dont use it and have the same boring matches all the time! I only started watching WWE in 2004, but i've seen videos and dvds from the 90's and the early 2000's and the quality is way better back then, than now! They should use wrestlers like carlito better and not put him in puppy love story lines with Torrie Wilson. They should improve the Womens League, by making them wrestle like wrestlers instead of girls in bikinis who throw a few slaps every now and then. Jeff Hard and Matt should reform as the Hardy's. At the moment Smackdown is having better matches and storylines, although Smackdown does get boring. Raw should stop throwing in stupid storylines likle the ones i said above and get on with the real wrestling, which is what people want to see. Stone COld or someone like that should come back and bring back the charisma to wrestling. I hope the Royal Rumble is good, because the last few PPV have been a real waste of money, with stupid matches or matches being done very pathetically. ANyways thats my opinion u dont have to agree!! Thanks 4 reading!!!

First, I would like to say that yes, this thread is basically open to any and all opinions on either Raw or Smackdown or ECW or even TNA. I probably should have made this thread in the WWE forum, but, I didn't. Actually I don't know if I would be out of place to ask this, but if someone from the site can move this maybe, to the plain WWE forum instead of having it under the Raw catagory, it'd be appreciated and might catch a little more buzz.

Moving on with it, I do agree that the charisma has been lacking, and the fact that Raw has talent but won't use it is truthful in every aspect. I posted a while ago on this thread about bringing in the Euro title back on Raw. For reference so I don't have to quote myself, please read it. But, the general idea of it was that the guys on the mid card don't have anything to show for their efforts. And its true, the guys that aren't good enough to go for the Inter. belt have nothing to show for their work. Crappy storylines are one thing, but repeat matches are another. Cena can still fued with Edge for all I care, but they don't have to wrestle each other every single week or PPV. There is no mix matches. And I'm not talking about Super Crazy vs The Great Khali. I'm talking about wrestlers actually going against different opponents each week. Although that brings another case brought up a while back, Giants. I want to see The Great Khali meet his match already. Sure he is 7-foot-who-cares, weighing in at 400-are-still-awake. He's slow, he's big, he... well... thats about it for him. I don't believe he has been pinned. But wow did he get a pop when he started bashing everyone upside the head on Raw as a face for about 2 min. But other then that, I don't think there will be a pop like that when he is in a match until he is on the losing end. Hell, Rey Rey beat Big Show in WCW to become the "Giant Killer." (at least I think it was Show (or The Giant in you wanna get technical) that he beat. Or it was Nash, either way.)) They need to use their talent. Actually coming up in a few days. I will map everything I would do to change it all... so, in a few days I will return, this time though, instead of just ideas, I will list what I would do from the Royal Rumble all the way to WM. I'll be back.

For those wondering there is a thread under the RAW brand forum by the same name, the thread started going off the topic of Raw and started to get involved in Smackdown and sometimes ECW. Refer to the thread in the Raw forum for reference as to what has been said in there. Thank you

Alright, are you all ready for this one. I waited about 2 weeks to see how the Rumble thing played out and I must say that it is actually interesting. The DX thing isn't dead but at least they are not playing it out as it having to be a faction, HBK still reps it but they aren't looking for any new members. That is alright in my book. Undertaker winning and taking on Batista I'm really happy about cause I hate Batista, I don't think he is that great and don't understand how he got over so much. When Taker showed up on Raw and started starring down John Cena the following Monday after the Rumble I seriously was pissed off, because that would have meant that Smackdown would have no one really left for title contention. Mr. Kennedy is getting up there but if you give him the belt right now without him having to "struggle" to get it off of Batista it would be horrible, and a worse idea to have him win it at WM (no offense Kennedy but your day will come.) Rated RKO I hope disbands and disbands soon. I personally can't stand them any longer, but it is interesting that they would make Orton seem like the one that turns out of it. But I always supported Orton as a face rather then a heel. A couple of pin points on topic that I would make is lately with this sort of recent heat everyone has been getting backstage. What is it that management doesn't like about certain superstars. I must be shooting on the dark on the subject, so if someone can inform me as to why certain people, like Orton, are being blasted backstage, I keep reading about it, but I don't know what the deal is. Carlito is one that sticks out obviously, he is slow paced and calm. He needs out of this Diva thing and back to being an a-hole.

My idea to change the course a little bit is simple. Send Edge packing to the Smackdown roster, but no instantly giving him a title shot at Batista, rather, have him fight Chris Benoit. Cause although I have really liked Chavo, I think the whole "fame game" with Eddies name is bit overzealous right now, its been played out and instead of honoring Eddie's name I think they are just waiting to bring it back with the return of Rey. In my opinion, it lost its flavor when Vickie was put in a neck brace, and from what I have seen she is still wearing it! The only person that has worn a neck brace for longer then anyone can remember is Joel Gertner. With all due respect to the Guerrero family I think its time for them to pull the plug on the storyline. Maybe a couple more Rey vs Chavo matches but other then that, be done with it. I would honestly move Umaga from Raw to Smackdown as well. Because Raw has gained The Great Khali and they are trying to make him the unstoppable force. If they played their cards right and somehow managed to get the fans to react better to The Great Khali, then they would move Umaga to Smackdown to leave that thought about who the dominate force is. Because as of now, I'm waiting to see them fight. And they could milk that for all it is worth if they separated the two. More then likely Undertaker is going to win the match at WM, it is going to be an epic one though. Because he has always giving us heart stopping matches cause his undefeated streak is always up for grabs and it is an awesome angle. Added now with the belt on the line. A couple more trades would be Jeff Hardy from Raw for Joey Mercury on Smackdown. Jeff would throw a match against Carlito to lost the belt to make the trade happen. To go along with these trades I would set in motion the following.

Batista loses the title at WM then disappears. Comes back as a mix of a heel and face. He just wants his title back and will start dominating his way to the top. WITH SOME NEW MOVES!

Kennedy becomes and underdog for the title prompting him to rely on the fans for support after losing to the Taker a couple times. Think like, him doing a political campaign for Cyber Sunday for a re-match.

Edge feuds with Chris Benoit and gets caught up in his own hype. Teddy keeps denying him a shot because he knows the fans don't want to see it, making Edge gain even bigger heat because really no one wants to see it happen either, but when it does it will make his heel status sky rocket.

Umaga will be the wild card there. Not mainly squash matches all the time, but filling in slots as a third in a Triple Threat. Going after both the U.S. and World Title.

Rey comes back soon. And after the Eddie thing gets played out a little more, he would be back in Title contention, because I admit to cheering my ass off when he won the Rumble and the title at WM. It was an awesome moment for an awesome competitor.

Booker T would also be up for grabs in title contention as well, but, he needs a little more work on it. But I have something funny lined up for Finlay. Booker T would be forced to quit the King Booker thing once the K.O.T.R. thing rolls around again anyway. WAIT. I just got a great one, rewind a little bit, Kennedy goes on feuding with Taker and has a political campaign for a re-match. Prompting Booker T to claim his royalty status over the Smackdown fans. A King vs Politics, there ya go for that part.

To clean up the mid cards, I would seriously think about pulling the early plug on Deuce and Domino, I have never seen anything more dumb then those two, I do not think they are that great, but they have only had a couple matches. If they don't change my mind they would be gone very soon. I would even think about hooking up Boogeyman and Umaga as a Tag Team then these two jokes.

Kendrick and London would need some challenges. Enter the newly same brand Tag Team of the Hardy Boyz. With the Hardyz coming out on top to reclaim the Tag Belts over London and Kendrick.

Finlay is prompted to become the manager of the little bastard. And has to fight in the Cruiserweight division after the Little Bastard pins Gregory Helms on a fluke. Little Bastard gets involved in a match ending with Gregory throwing out a challenge that would FORCE the L.B. to a match. In which Finaly interferes resulting in L.B. pinning Gregory. After L.B. refuses to wrestle in Matchs it forces Finlay to represent him during title matches.

Boogeyman just stays with what he is doing, but longer matches and some real feuds. Instead of head games and a 2 min match.

I would even grant the Miz a special place in the U.S. Title contention or team up with Edge. Because I don't like him, but there was something posted a while back after a Smackdown show were the Miz was one of the few, aside from some Divas, that stayed behind to sign autographs for everyone that was outside of the venue. It proves he enjoys what he does. And a little push wouldn't hurt as a reward.

And now that Smackdown has been cleaned up a little bit, then we move to Raw. With the "top heel" moving on to Smackdown and Randy Orton going face, and HBK winning at WM.

Cena, would FINALLY, FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY! Go back to being a bad guy. Rapping his way through his opponents. He have a falling out the next couple weeks after and have a "going back to the basics, OF THUGANOMICS!" Free styling and giving us what put him over in the first place.

Orton should become champ again. With maybe, just maybe, at Summerslam, when Triple H is slated to come back. After Triple H turns on HBK giving Orton the win. But not joining Orton, just giving it to RKO because he knows he can beat RKO, and he just wants a good match with someone that can take him to the limit. Not a "Has-been-kid" like Shawn Michaels (this is just the angle part like Triple H saying it, I would kiss Shawn Michaels' ass right now for what he has done for the business, except Montreal.)

To clean up the mid cards a bit more I would make these changes.

Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro end up edging Cryme Tyme and W.G.T.T.. This would lead to a cross brand re-match of Titles vs Titles putting MNM against the Hardyz at a future cross brand PPV.

After losing a chance at some Tag Team gold W.G.T.T. would split, shooting Shelton back into the Intercontinental race. Where he would regain the belt and go on amazing us with his skills. Haas would join the chase a few times but not before proving his worth. Feuding with Kenny Dykstra wouldn't be a bad idea for this either, with Kenny going face.

Chris Masters would continue to bitch about the Masterlock never being broken. Until The Great Khali takes the challenge... :)

Carlito cheats on Torrie with Candice. BUT after winning the Money In The Bank Match he starts playing the role of a Scarface knockoff. With a supermodel GF and then Hiring Cryme Tyme as his lackies to do his dirty work and assumes the role of a Crime Boss. Cause Cryme Tyme do things for money and if Carlito is rolling in money... think about it. He later fails in his attempt at Title Gold.

Melina goes on to Diva championship gold. Mickie and Kenny come clean about their relationship and have a run as BF/GF on Raw, with Flair being their support group and mentor against Carlito's gang. The Womens division is a little to be desired but I think whatever they do with it is their own business...

I'm not even touching ECW. I'd pull the plug on it right now if I had a chance.

I'll also be willing to add some more Superstars to the list of what I would do, say if someone asked what I would do with Kane, I will post what I would do with him. I just didn't want to make this thread too long. If you would like to know what I would do with ECW, let me know, I do have ideas, but, I'd honestly just end it now.

So there ya have it, let me know what you think of these ideas and get back to me. Feel free to add your two cents, but please, before you make your own suggestions, let me know what you think of this, because I think this would be a really good idea, I wanna see if this would get over with people.

I agree and disagree with some of what you mentioned.

I like the Edge going to Smackdown idea and facing Benoit. Personally I like Orton as a heel rather than a face, but that's just me.

I don't think Cena will ever be a heel again, because of the fact that he is so over with the fans as a face. It kinda reminds me of Hogan in a way. When Hogan turned on the fans and formed nWo in WCW, they still cheered for him even though he was being pushed as a heel. Same thing with Cena, I highly doubt he'll ever be a heel again.

I think when HHH comes back he should get back with HBK and re-form DX. I personally liked the storyline when they were together. I think HHH will return and help HBK and it will solidify HHH being more over as a face.

I hate Great Khali with a passion, he is just like Batista.. Never knew what was so great about them. I guess you could move Umaga to SD and keep Khali on Raw so each brand has its dominant force. Personally, I can't stand either Khali or Umaga at all.

The Undertaker will win at Wrestlemania, it's a fact. He will never give up his undefeated streak, at all and it's a fact imo. It'll be a good match between him and Batista, but UT will come out on top for sure.

As for Kane, I think one of two things could and should happen:
-Him and UT re-form The Brothers of Destruction and capture the Tag Titles.
-Kane gets in the US Title contention at first, and then to the WHC contention.

And forget about ECW... I agree with you when you said that you would end it. I would personally as well.

Kane would be a total U.S. title contender, with a future push for the title itself, and there is a another post about greatest storyline, I put my two cents in on that, but I would agree with most people and say that, Kane vs Taker at some point in time would be a good thing. I personally love the Carlito idea, lol. I should also mention something as to how Carlito gains so much money that quick. Reason being is the Donald Trump thing, although its pretty dumb, but I think it would be good thing to get it involved in other matches as well, with Vince and Donald trying to out-do each other. So Donald puts "a million" or at least "half a million" on the line along with Vince's #1 Contender Match.

I do agree with Cena going heel might be a bad thing. I just want him to rap again.

HBK said at one point in time that he is starting to hurt real bad in the ring, and doesn't think he will last much longer if the pain gets worse. I know he just started to get the ball rolling again, and I still think the HHH turn on him would be a good idea. Maybe not as soon as I had mentioned but at some point in time.

I'll get to ECW though in the future sometime, there just isn't much to work with on the show though, no offense to the originals. But it is possible to save it I think.

Thanks for the reply for all new comers please read both posts.

I would introdouce new FACE tag teams to SD because what's the point of heel tag teams only ever facing L & K or jobbers. I don't know why you don't like Deuce and Domino. At least they have personalities and skills. Give these guys a couple of months and everyone will look past the cheesy gimmick and boo the crap out of them. Bring Shawn Spears & Cody Runnels from OVW, they're meant to be pretty good and had a long feud with D & D in OVW.

Also, we need a CW division. I heard Daivari is coming back to SD so that might start something as he has decent mic skills.

The reason why I would terminate Deuce and Domino is because they just don't seem that great to me. I agree with getting more Tag Teams involved but, the quickest way to fix that problem is to just go back to being WWE and now Raw vs Smackdown. But apparently someone in management thinks they are still doing really good. I haven't seen or kept up with any independent promotions so any names you say I have to watch videos of and get back with my own opinion on em, if you would like to make suggestions please PM me and send me links to some of the better matches.

I know he just started to get the ball rolling again, and I still think the HHH turn on him would be a good idea. Maybe not as soon as I had mentioned but at some point in time.

Why would you have Triple H turn on HBK? Been there done that already. They worked so hard to get them back together why would they break them up again. I was in favor of giving HBK the title at Wrestlemania with Triple H in his corner. Then having him lose it to Orton at Backlash and do an injury angle that would give him off until Summerslam where he can come back with Triple H or even sometime in September.

In the mean time Cena and Orton can feud until the two come back. Not sure what you do with Edge. I think he is the best heel they have but how many times can we see Cena vs Edge and I think giving Edge the IC title or even the US Title would be a downgrade for him.

Also it is kind of annoying that HBK is coming out to the DX theme and is still wearing green pants. I think it is time he comes out to his own music for now until Triple H returns.

With all due respect JointDC, i think if u done all the changes u are sayin it would completly screw up the WWE. U would hav the majority of the roster turn face or heel dependin on the superstar and u wld move wrestlers here there and everywhere. I jst dont get some of the things u r sayin. Edge currnetly is the biggest heel in the whole WWE and by tht i mean by the amount of heat he can generate by jst talkin. Raw is seen and yes it is seen to be the top show in the WWE, by movin him to Smackdown allthough it would be good for the product jst wont happen, Raw needs him to much. HHH turnin on Shawn really doenst appeal to me in any way and i think the majority of the audience wouldnt get it either. I personally dont think the hardy boys will ever get back together on a regular basis and actually i dont want them to either, it would be good as like they hav been doing some speacial appearances but Jeff Hardy is again more marketable and in the WWE's eyes a singles competitor. I think ur idea concernin Batista should go to Kane, make Kane someone tht jst destroys opponents left right and centre. Make him instopable as it is more beliveable to hav him unstoppable than Batasta. Mr Kennedy should never turn face or even be close to it especially not at this stage where he is gettin major over as a heel. WWE as it is doesnt hav to many heels and at the Rumble it was a face feast with Cena, Batista, Lashley, Hardys and the last 2 competitors in the rumble match itself being Micheals and Taker. Heels jst arent commin through like they should and tht is contributin to why WWE has gone stale. I jst think for Mr Kennedy character he cannot become heel or it will damage his whole persona and would basically imo ruin him as a legit main eventer.

I thank and hope at the same time that both the Hardy Boys are on their way to climbing the singles division ladder. I want to see Matt Hardy start competing for the US title maybe a short program with Finlay to initially elevate him, then a feud with King Booker. Eventually I would love to see a Kennedy / Matt Hardy program. Then with Jeff Hardy, keep it going he is a future champion.

On raw just make carlito into his heel form cuz it is so much better than him being cheered. Carlito has that thing about him that the Rock had. People loved Carlito for his heel actions like spittin and cheating. Him as a good guy has him tryin to cheat and rarely spittin in the face of people. Its my opinion that Carlito is better when he is a heel and would easily fill the roll the rock made famous by insulting the fans to the point they spoke his catch phrases. Then have Shelton take the role of the face and begin the fued with carlito just like the rock and hhh had or even the rock and austin. Eventually leading up to Shelton getting more popular cuz with his athletics all he needs is a push. Leading to shelton winning the rumble or winning the title in Eddie Guerrero fashion. Then with shelton moving up it would lead to Carlito challenging him as a newly formed top heel. Also make orton a face like when he fought evolution and keep edge as the heel. People hate edge like they hated raven in wcw. People will watch just for Edge to lose and i think Edge and Shelton could have great matches. Oh yeah if Taker loses at Wrestlemania i think we should Riot.

I agree with alot of these ideas by everyone even though it has been awhile since anyone has posted anything. I personally feel that the WWE needs some changes and they need to go back to being without brands. I mean call me retarted, and those who don't agree obviously will, but get rid of some of these retarted wrestlers who have no point or purpose in this business. Who the hell is Duece? and the Great Khali? Hell he's just a roster filler since HHH is off for awhile. I truly hate this brand idea. Go back to the show idea. Get some better storylines for gods sake too. I would like to see all the belts up for contention by the whole business. Hell these people are entertainers, let them entertain. Don't put resraints on these people. You can't do this cause you're on raw or you can only have a fued with this guy cause your on ECW. I personally would love to see tag team matches between cross brand wrestlers. Well regardless this is a great thread and this is just about a small amount of how i feel about a great business that is not really failing but is starting to get way out of line with the gay storylines and fueds...

Funny thing about this thread, is I was just about to check it to see if anyone has posted anything, because its been a while since I posted on it. I do agree with you Baldwin, and apparently, Vince is starting to see the light as usual. He is opening up more matches during PPV by nixing the "Brand Only PPV" all will be cross brand. (that bit of info brought from what I read a couple days ago on the main site.) With that said, and if he does indeed go that route, here is what they should be able to do with it. Any wrestler can go to any show, on any night, and challenge for any belt he wants to. Which would get a lot more people interested, instead of steady roster based wrestling. The Champions should stay on their respective brands (I.C. is a Raw belt, and U.S. is the Smackdown belt.) and you can also have champion vs champion matches during PPV's and stuff like that, it could work really well. And on a side note. I'm gonna do another run down of a list of wrestlers and what I would do with them, (like I did a couple of posts ago) but, I'm waiting until after Wrestlemania, cause what happens at WM usually sets the tone for what happens for the rest of the year. But thanks Baldwin for bringing this thread back to the first page. It made it easier to find, lol.

Hey just wondering what you thought about all the news swirling around The Rock and Y2J??? You think its serious or just alot of hype... Wrestlemania in 16 days!!!

Good read and I agree. I really hope Michaels s the title at Wrestlemania to have a new champ for once.

I should just rename this as the JointDC opinion thread... LOL (maybe look for it)

My thoughts about The Rock and Y2J are simple... in my view The Rock will always have an open door in WWE if his movie career plummets. But to his credit his movies are fairly decent and I can't complain too much about em. Except Doom, only because it had NOTHING to do with the game. Anyway, I don't think we will see The Rock back as a full time active wrestler. If ratings get low W.W.E. still has two wild cards they can pull. They have Austin and they have The Rock. If ratings get bad, then they will go to those two. Given the fact that wrestling itself has kind of lost its flair, its not a bad assumption to make that you will see The Rock wrestle again sometime soon. His surprise appearance on Raw last Monday even had me shaking with anticipation. I honestly didn't know who the hell it was and thought it was another wannabe wrestler making his debut. But when I heard, "FINALLY!" I knew it was on! And you can't match that. He is a draw, so it is likely he will become involved in the business in bit parts. But I don't know if he will be at Mania or anything.

Y2J basically the same thing goes for him. Except with music. But I've read that he has been talking to T.N.A. and the fact that they used his bands song on their montage for their "This is T.N.A." doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot. I'd love to see Y2J back in W.W.E.. If he goes to T.N.A. who cares... If he comes back, it will be cool, no matter what he does. He brought a presence to the ring that was only second to The Rock. The Rock could work a mic, and so could Jericho, but Rocky had just a little bit more umpf to it then Jericho. If he comes back, I wanna hear it one more time... "Stephanie McMahon, the dirty, sleezy, bottom feeding trash bag hoe."

I don't think we will see the Rock in the ring again. Maybe a match here and there later on. We have a better chance of seeing Jericho, but if I was Jericho there is no way I would come back in the way they were using him the last year or 2 he was in the business.

Someone should also tell him that if he goes to TNA no one would be watching him. I think ECW almost does better Impact.

A-freakin-greed if y2j were to go to TNA i would surely have to put my head down and shake my head... Sorry but TNA completely lacks the impact that WWE has... He would be much better off in my eyes in the WWE where we can actually see another superstar back in the business... And for the love of god will someone do anything about these lame ass storylines??? This past Monday Night Raw I noticed from the beginning of the show there were Two, TWO, moves performed until about 45 minutes into the show!!! HBK's sweet chin music and the masterlock... I mean this is getting seriously outta hand... No one really cares much for the billionare thing except seeing Austin back doing a whole hell of a lot of nothing really. I truly am excited to watch the money in the bank and the batista/ taker match. Other than that I don't really think I would waste my money on watching anything other than that...
