The Knockouts Titles and Immortal

I was just wondering why Knockouts titles (TNA Women's Knockout Championship, TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship) are not on the list of Immortals to get? Bischoff may times said that they need the belts because they mean power. So Immortals are after all bets except Knockout belts? Why?

IMO, this suggest that Knockout titles are pretty much worthless and have no respect in TNA. I wish Bischoff at least acknowledge them that they exist and that Immortals also want these belts. This probably would require some knockouts to join Immortals or work for Immortals.

I actually think that this will become somewhat of a plot point in the future. I can see Flair mentoring Sarita or even just flat out recruiting Madison who would be a totally obnoxious first lady of Fortune. Then again, Fortune is not the MEM. They want all the titles in the company yes, but the women are always generally unaffected by the goings on in the mens division and vice versa. It would be best not to get them involved in the Immortal storyline, they have a few good things going on in the division right now anyway.

Right now, I think Eric is just focusing on what “draws”. It’s like Evolution and the Cabinet, among many other Stables in history.

However, I think after Kaz wins his 4th X-Division Title, after Beer Money wins the Tag Straps for the 4th time (Robert Roode’s 6th and James Storm’s 11th), and after A. J. Styles becomes the record breaking 3 Time TNA Grand Slam Champion, is when Ric Flair will “recruit” the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Winter and Angelina Love, and the next TNA Knockouts Champion, Velvet Sky!!

Like HBK and HHH, the original Beautiful People are just better as heels. I think one more KO should be added to make 4 to fit with Fortune. My pick is Mickie James or Madison herself.

I believe they will bring them in. Sure you have power with all the men's wrestling title but to HAVE total POWER you need them ALL!!!

I see either TBP or RAYNE an SARITA with TARA. I see Sarita being Knockout Champ an Rayne an Tara bein tag champs.

If they accomplished this that would mean TOTAL POWER!!! An what a way to be feared by a group then have EVERY TITLE. With the womens titles you can do so much more even have a power couple role play out.


Well i do hope Fortuane an Immortal gain every title. Just hope it doesn't turn into another Corporation type deal. I do wonder though if they don't get all the titles would Forutane leave Immortal?

Im anxious to find out so only time will tell lol

Here's the thing. The Divas in WWE may not draw, but the knockouts consistently produce the best ratings on many shows. They even main event shows from time to time, the latest being Mickie James and Tara in a steel cage match 3 weeks ago. Because the Knockouts have concrete storylines and are given more air time, they are considered a draw.

The reason the KO's title isn't under consideration at the current moment is because there are no KO's currenly in Immortal/Fourtune. They've made no attempts to recruit Knockouts, and I think thats a good thing. Both Immortal and the Knockouts have3 good storylines going on right now that it would be a disruption to have a Knockout split froma storyline and join Immortal. Think about it. From the KO champ Madison Rayne to Sarita, every single one is involved in a feud or storyline. When in the history of women's wrestling has that happened? Right now, I say if its not broke, dont fix it, and the Knockout division is surely among the biggest success for TNA right now.

However, I could certainly see a Knockout or two added to Immortal in the future. Both Angelina and Velvet are considered faces, but they act like heels much of the time, especially in their Reaction promos. Madison has come in to her own as a top heel, and when she expectedly loses the belt to Mickie James, she would be a nice fit as well. I think once Bischoff achieves his goal of capturing most of the men's titles, he'll focus on the women's ones as well. And who would be a better fit, per se, in Immortal then the BP or Madison? I can't imagine anyone. just give it time for the current storylines to play out, amd I think we'll see a focus on obtaining the women's titles for Immortal as well.

Too have All the power, You must have All the belts. Immortal needs the knockouts title. There not complete without all the belts. So I assume there saving the Knockouts title for last. I can see a story line building around Immortal finally moving toward recruiting a woman into the ranks besides miss tessmacher , to Capture the TNA Knockouts title. I can't see them claiming to have all the belts if the knockouts title isn't on them. They need that belt because that is the last step for them to become all power.

I'd like to see them bring the knockouts title in a couple of weeks. It doesn't make since if the knockouts title isn't in there hands. Maybe there making us think they won't need it or maybe, they've planned this all along. Nobodys ever truly sure until it happens.

I've suggested a story thread for TNA under other forums that could move well in this option - I'll try to be brief...

Matt Hardy & Shane Helms come into TNA teasing a feud with Jeff but along with a Kaz/ Rob Terry betrayal turn on FOURtune as Immortal has tired of their spotlight hogging. The Blueprint ends up back in FOURtune. A new British Invasion featuring Doug, Wolfe w Chelsea, Magnus, Terry, a debuting Paul Birchill and Winter (who swerves Angelina) is formed. Tara & Madison join Immortal alongside Kaz, Matt & Shane. The BPs and Mickie then side with FOURtune.

AJ feuds with Jeff over the World belt or Kaz for the X Division
Morgan feuds with Doug over the Global belt
Beer Money have a New British Invasion & Team Omega to feud with over the tag belts
The BP feud with Winter and Tara over the KO tag belts
Mickie feuds with Madison for the KO championship

Thoughts?

Because as of this moment there are no female wrestlers (or even females in general) associated with Fortune or with Immortal the way Traci Brooks was marginally associated with the Main Event Mafia. Simple as that.

Could they benefit from involving someone like Madison Rayne or Tara, or both? Probably, yeah, because it'd add to the wrestling pool of the stable, but until the male championships are secured, I doubt we see any involvement with them going after the female championships, because frankly, they just don't matter as much.
