What do you think?? Originally, they were going to go with the name Master of the WWE Universe. I like that the WWE is doing a parody of a Stable from a different promotion, but I would love it if the WWE did their own version of the Main Event Mafia!!

They could go with veteran former World Champions:
Big Show
John Cena
Kane
Mark Henry
Randy Orton

They could go with young former World Champions:
Daniel Bryan
Dolph Ziggler
Jack Swagger
The Miz
Sheamus

Can someone explain this picture??

Are they in the Main Event Mafia or Murder Inc.??!?

Anyway, Brass Ring Club or Masters of the WWE Universe should be a Stable consisting of Big Show, John Cena, Kane, Mark Henry and Randy Orton led and managed by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Uh, they aren't a parody of anything. The name is taken from Vince's comments on Steve Austin's podcast because they believe they are ready to grab the "brass ring." Just because they make a "M" with their hands doesn't mean they are a rip off of anything else. Oh, and that is some awful fantasy booking making up the rest of the post.

It's a combination of the Bullet Club and Brass Ring comments that Vince made, especially since they seemed almost pointed at Cesaro.

The problem is that between Tyson and Cesaro, they have the combined personality of a rock. (Well, Cesaro is probably ok, but his language barrier makes it hard to achieve real charisma with an American audience). Someone has to either do some heel tactics for them, or talk for them, or something. This is when, 25 years ago, Jim Cornette would have been perfect. Two technical guys like this, with Cornette would have been fun.

lol you can tell a TNA fan form ten miles away. All that promotion has done for a decade is stable up different people that have no continuity or fit with each other whatsoever.

Yeah, let's throw away kayfabe even further to stable up known heels with known faces for no apparent reason aaaahahahah

Sometimes combining two turns out to be the best. Before the New Age Outlaws, they were country singer Jessie James and Rockabilly neither had much going on. Same with Miz and Morrison, Faarooq and Bradshaw, etc. Hopefully this helps them both. It may be their last shot at something meaningful

The Main Event Mafia was an awful idea in TNA, just like its predecessor the Millionaire's Club was awful in WCW; a WWE rehash would equally be awful.

As for the Cesaro & Kidd tag team, this far they seem to be doing well, and getting decent crowd reactions; I like that they've added the drop kick to the giant swing to make it a more 'heelish' move (thank CM Punk for that after performing it at last year's Royal Rumble). I just wish that (a) they would settle on a name and (b) the name is good, as both the Masters of the WWE Universe and the Brass Ring Club are, quite frankly, gash

I don't care what they call them. To me, Kidd and Cesaro are the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. Such a great tag team. We don't need a stable out of it in my opinion. Them as a tag team would be great. They don't need to be over on the mic to have success in this division. None of the teams ever really cut promos anyway? Their wrestling alone should be enough to carry them as far as they want in such a lack luster division. Tell me the last time the Uso's cut a good promo? This isn't what the division needs. Wrestling is all we need. And there's arguably not many better in that ring than Cesaro and Kidd.

Besides, WWE doesn't do stables all that well. Recently anyway. Minus the Shield and wyatts although you could argue that splitting them up this early wasn't really a good descision. I'm not a huge fan of stables unless done right. Like The Shield was for so long. TNA has a real problem with grouping all these guys together all the time. It's half the reason I don't really like their product. It's been the same for years. Big power struggle between 3 different stables blah blah blah it's so bad. This guys heel this week, face the next then back to heel again. Really?

The only way a stable gets over in WWE is if they're in the main event picture. If not then they wither away to singles guys again. It just doesn't work.

I think Cesaro and Kidd are fine as a tag team. It gives them an opportunity to establish themselves and give them something to do it. The dynamic with Natayla helps out too. Adding other people to equation could take away from the development of Cesaro and Kidd.

I think it is all great having these 2 partner together but i think Cesaro is much better as a singles star and should be in the high mid card making his way to the main event scene. He should be the guy to take out Rusev! Anyways so i think The Brass Ring Club needs to consist of more than 2 guys and a Diva. I say bring in Adrian Neville partner him with Tyson Kidd, have Cesaro be the top player Nattie as the female in the group, and PAUL HEYMAN be their manager! This will be perfect for him to do after Wrestlemania when Brock Lesnar leaves.

The Main Event Mafia already exists in the WWE pal. It's called the Authority, it is led by HHH and Stephanie. It consists of Big Show, Kane, Seth Rollins & Luke Harper.

As someone who genuinely liked the idea of the New Blood v Millionaire's Club in WCW I'd actually love to see a stable called the Brass Ring Club in WWE.

Even just going with Tyson, Cesaro, Ryback, Natalie and Ziggler would be awesome. If the angle started to get over you could align Daniel Bryan with them to do a programme where they take on and finally get rid of the Authority. There's money in that feud, particularly if you use it as a way of legit retiring guys like Kane and Big Show as the Brass Ring Club fight there way through the Authority's chosen few

I like the new pairing and think that it has good potential. What makes it work is the two compliment each other so well. It's even similar to the Hart foundation. They mix of the two personalities is good, you've got the hyper action packed Kidd tramed with a strong no-nonsense Cesaro. Good things can happen for them.

Rewatched some old stuff and realised that "Brass ring of Vince" is talked about in CM Punks promo before MiTB 2011.

That being said, think they are fine as it is. And if anyone would go with them should be someone like them who didnt get some big oportunity and is considered that it should. For example Zack Ryder. Heck, on the ride of IWC and all that "they deserve a chance but WWE doesnt give them one" they would make nice name for themselves for quite some time. :lmao:
