Sally was here
Both of these films are fantastic. Identity on its own, is a good film, but viewing it as the first part of a trilogy makes it better. What I mean is, if there had been no Supremacy or Ultimatum, I don't know if it would have held up the same.
Ronin seems to remain an under-rated action film but De Niro and Reno are a fantastic pairing. The unspoken understanding and professionalism they have as their characters is incredibly slick and would not surprise me if Foxx and Farrell were given that as reference material for their own turns in Miami Vice.
With all that said, arguably the two stand-out sequences in both these films are their car chases, both of which occur in Paris. Identity has Bourne and Marie as the hunted, while in Ronin, Vincent and Sam are the hunters of that Oirish couple who double-crossed them.
So of the two, which do you folks prefer?
