Book Your Favorite To The Top

I'm not sure if this thread belongs here so move it if it needs it, so sorry if it doesn't.

This thread is the opportunity to book your favorite to the top, wat storylines/gimmicks would you use to get them there?

I have a few ideas for different guys but ill start with the gold standard, shelton bengamin.

This would also include the formation of Regal's royal stable, his roundtable.

Regal comes out on RAW and introduces his new stable consisting of, Orton, Burchill, Lea.

Regal: 'Seeing as all of you people don't respect me, I have taken it upon myself to force you into respecting me. We are setting upon a quest to take all the gold here on RAW. We just need one more knight for the roundtable. Starting next week will be the RAW conquest tourament.

The idea behind the stable is Orton is after/becomes WWE champ.
Burchill becomes IC champ or tag champs
Katie becomes Womens champ
Regal becomes Tag champ or IC
Final member becomes Tag or IC

This segment brings out Shelton Benjamin who replies with

'Your after all the gold on RAW, well forget the titles and your little tourament. Look no further than me, the gold standard'

Regal then puts him in a series of matches to prove himself. This should get him over as a legit guy/heel on raw to the average viewer by going over midcard babyfaces/current champs. [Regal useing him to soften up the champs].

Shelton could also turn on the stable at one point after getting some gold and thus put him over as a babyface.

I think forward to hearing replies and other ideas

John Morrison, not my number favourite wrestler but my favourit midcarder...

So, after winning the ECW Championship off of Kane (not the "Top" in my eyes) he then enters a jealousy feud with the Miz where the Miz cant handle Morrison being the number one guy.... this will get rid of the Miz, by far the lesser talented of our tag champs. Morrison drops the ECW title to the Miz (would kindof be weird to have Miz as champ and a back to go forards step for Morrison, but I dont care about ECW so let the Miz have the title..)

Morrison then walks out on ECW, seemingly on the whole WWE but then appears as a special guest on Chris Jericho's highlight reel... Chris Jericho calls Morrison a coward for walking out on ECW and says it was because he couldn't even beat the Miz, Morrison says he dropped the title to the Miz on purpose, he claims to have acheived everything he wanted in ECW and now he was switching to the only show he hasn't been on: RAW!
to proove he is no coward Morrison takes on Jericho at one of the B ppvs and puts on a stellar 15 - 20 minute match and goes over! They then continue their feud at a bigger ppv in a gimmick match... John Morrison says if he can proove his win was no fluke he will get a number one contenders match... of course Morrison goes over Jericho again and is now number one contender.

Morrison goes over Jeff Hardy in a number one conteders match and then goes on to feud with Triple H for the WHC

Alex Shelley .

So Sabin and Shelley regain a support from management and begin to get over again with the crowd.This leads to a title match With LAX at Victory Road.MCMG go over and hold the belts for 3 months until dropping them to LAX again.

Sabin becomes angry after Shelley messed up a Ninja during their rematch.Sabin attacks Shelley at the next iMPACT putting him out for a month.

Shelley returns and screws Sabin in a match Agianist Samoa Joe for number 1 condentership.

At the next PPV they are meant to have a match but both brawl until Shelley Shellshocks Sabin through the ramp(Could't think of anything else)

Then On iMPACT Shelley challgenes Sabin to a TLC Cage Match in a loser leaves TNA Match(Sabin had grown tired of TNA).Shelley wins after Pushing Sabin over the cage which leads to Sabin going through 2 tables!

Shelley becomes a upper mid carder and the rest................is not my job lol.

That's enough gimmicks to just make it feasible. I'm personally not a very big fan of Alex Shelley.

My version of pushing Alex Shelley would be pretty similar to yours really.

However, I'd throw in a couple more tag feuds before dropping the belts to who the fuck ever. I'd then use Shelley as a tool to bring a serious edge back to the X Division, winning something like the old Super X cup before the X Title himself. In doing that, I'd give him someone to have at least a four star match with - someone like Homicide or Styles, or if they've got anyone good left over from the World X Cup. Make sure the crowd and the audience are assured that he's the best guy to be holding that title.

Then comes the Sabin heel turn. Or even the Shelley heel turn, seeing as he's the superior heel. Either Sabin feels jealous or Shelley feels Sabin's inferior. They feud for a few months, have a few more four/five starrers, then go their separate ways within the X Division. I doubt Shelley'd get to the very top of the card, but I could see him having some great TV matches with the likes of Joe, Cage and Angle. Maybe a one-off PPV match even. However, I should be realistic.

This time I'm going to give me idea for a push for CM Punk. There are a couple of superstars this could happen with but ill use jeff hardy as the example for this one.

Hardy makes his way to the ring and has a few things he would like to say. 'Last week I was trying to tell you something so here goes again. I'm sorry that I let all of you [his fans] down but I made a mistake and I had to pay the consquences.' JH really starts to play the sympathy card here, 'I made a mistake and my life started on a down hill slide from there, suspended without pay, my house and all my possessions burnt to the ground, and to top it off it was all uninsured. But I want to say thank you to my great fans, you guys have helped me through all of this and I don't know what I have done to deserve ........'

CM PUNK's music hits and here comes mr mitb.

You betrayed this company, you betrayed RAW and you betrayed your fans....all of this bcause you are weak and undeserving of the support of the WWE and your fans. Punk goes over in a close match with a couple of big spots if only punk could do thepepsi plunge still, imagine off the ladder.

Hardy more over via the sympathy card, punk over instantly as a heel for picking on the biggest face atm. Sets up possibilites for someone to try and tempt punk into breaking edge, maybe stone cold could come out and try and have a beer bash, or the return of the ho train.
