Book This! - General Discussion

I have been coming up with this massive storyline, but I really don't want to set it into action quite yet. It may be awhile before I use it, definitely after Guerrilla Warfare, but I don't know how long I will able to wait.

I liked it. The NXT mentor that was revealed was great, it really caught me off guard. It was like:

The Rock: Bit of a big name for little ol' NXT.

GCB REVIEW:HBK vs. Justice. Solid, well written ladder match. The ending, though, is the biggest reason that I make it a 'very good' PPV and not an 'excellent' PPV ... Beer Money down to deny HBK, I can accept. But while they are holding him and stopping him, where is Triple H? He wouldn't stand by and watch ... Would he? Unless you have another plan, I don't see why HHH wouldn't aid his friend. It was a bit of an anti-climax for me in the end.
GCB

To be honest I thought the PPV wasn't as good as Survivor Series. I knew someone would bring this up about Triple H. I was turning back and forth about if he should run to the ring. I had the ending planned for Beer Money to screw Shawn out of the match, but having Triple H run down would of taken away the screw job like finish. If he comes down the ring, he would get involved with Justice. I didn't want that to happen. I thought the finish would get some reaction, thanks for the honesty man.

I agree with GCB in that respect, one every 5-7 days would be the best wrestlingfan.

RAW IS POSTED! NXT LEGEND MENTOR #2 REVEALED!

Number 1:
Good luck with that! A show every two days will take an insane amount of effort. I write a show every fortnight on average, maybe a week and a half. If you do every two days, then (a) it'll be crap or (b) you'll be demotivated by the end of the week!

Number 2:
Every two days is fine if you want. However, don't expect to have many readers and reviews. I don't read any shows on here during the week (usually) so having three or four shows to catch up on in the weekend is not going to go down well with folk. You'll put people right off reading it.

Conclusion:
Every four days at least. Maybe even one per week. Much better.

So should I do them all on the weekend. Remember I have 2 Brands and 1 Show so I may not get far in storylines and matches as such if I do every 5-7days. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea and from experienced writers like yourself would be the best schedule but give me a good reason in why I should use the schedule given I have 3 shows, and needed to go through storylines, matches, etc.

Also Da Prophet, I've seen your work with WWE Unleashed and hoping you can give me a few tips on how'd u make it so good?

Is it 2 brands with 1 show each? Now onto the posting of shows, do 1 SHOW a week. Nobody is going to read if you post 3 shows in one day. You want to get readers, take your time.

You got it 2 Brands With 1 Show Each, There's a women show also thrown in so the female wrestlers don't get lost in the shuffle.

I'm thinking of doing that since not only u but The Sign Guy and GCB said I should do the same but how will I get far with storylines if I do that? Or maybe I'm thinking too smally and not wanting to go far with the Book This, and maybe just want it to last through the summer.

Just to let everyone know RAW in the coming weeks is going to be in recap (matches only) while I'll write the Smackdown matches in full. It's PPV month for Smackdown so I guess you could say bigger things will be happening over on the blue brand.

Proph, hey, I post about every 4 days and I get viewers!:banghead: As for you wrestlingfan, you will get views and reviews if you spread out your shows, if you post 3 in one day, as Proph said, you won't get either of them, and if you don't get views OR reviews, than what's the point of doing one of these, I mean, I have fun writing my shows, but seeing as people view/read them, review them, and tell me either through post or rep that they can't wait to see/read my next show just makes this so much better.

I may try and finally finish up Sheamus/Sin Cara. I just can't get in the zone to write the match. Reviews on the way for our top two guys, GCB and Proph.

Keep up the work with WWE Unleashed. Tip with how yo got so good with the Book This because I've checked out the awards and most say you had the best.

Anybody know if WWE runs on a 52 week pay-per-view schedule (as in Wrestlemania 28 will be exactly 52 weeks after Wrestlemania 27)?

No Best I don't think they do. Considering Wrestlemania has fallen on the last Sunday of March some years or the first Sunday in April during another. Really just depends on when the venue they want is available.

Thanks to everyone who has given me a review. Being back with the thread should make things better. I understand who the break hurt the show.

Just 2 Questions:How'd u get so good with WWE Unleashed so I can use that knowledge to help me with my own Book This.

And even If I do one show, one brand each week will I get far in storylines?

Sorry that the review is coming a little late Proph, I got a couple of things that I have ti do now, but I'll try to get it up soon.

Also, when are the predictions contest results coming in?

I stuck to the project, listened to the people who were reading it and made sure I had plans for the future. Storylines depend on how much effort you want to put into it. Myself and GCB would probably have the best storylines going because we have stuck to our projects for nearly 1 year (yes I know about me). All depends if you really want to put effort into the project.

Today probably.

Well I want to go far with this project, It is a hobby and you can't have fun with a hobby if you dont put effort into it, But let's say for my 3 Shows and in 3 Weeks Time the first episode of each brand would be done. Should then after that I do a PPV or just continue in the same pattern.
