Book This! - General Discussion

Yeah, I did. Posted it on ONE other forum, to try and get more feedback. My username there is Cobra T Washington. ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES!

We need a way to bring more activity in this section just like there is in the other forum Doc and myself are talking about. So Book This regulars, (Doc, Crock, Theo, Burnout, Proph, Falk, Beast) what can we do?

Just an update, after so many of my BT plans have fallen through for so many reasons, I believe I may have finally found one I feel solid about. I just have to write a backstory for it and start writing. So to let you all know, I finally am making a return to this section, hopefully for good.

Also, if anyone wants to see the one other promotion I actually ever followed through with in Book This, search WWE-Rebirth. It was around the time I first signed up for the forums.

We've done a shitload do get some movement back here and honestly, the best we have gotten is a multi-man BT with a huge draft. After that, interest dwindles. Doc's BT gets the most attention, though. So, we can either:

1) Bring non-BT writers here to write (improbable)
2) Create BT's that are unique (SCW is comedic relief with a serious side, VWF features only females)

I guess thats all we can do.

Well I think if we have a solid six writers/bookers (I am about to start a new one, Sign Guy also, Falk if you are still doing the VWF) that we all provide larger reviews for each other when we post a show. It would keep people motivated to keep writing if they know another five people are going to comment on their work. Also, we could make prediction contests for pay per views, etc. I'm just typing out ideas...

We could do a tournament, if we had enough bookers. Have people vote each week on the best show, and all that stuff.

Not a bad idea. I like it better then doing a joint again, because if one person becomes inactive then it really hurts the whole thing. You give each person a theme and they have to write the show with certain matches that are on the card and stuff.

I just reckon that we all agree to give (lengthy) reviews of each others shows when each of us post an episode. Maybe try and bring back some bookers who used to do it but don't anymore. EDIT: Also use graphics (either we all use the same one so people begin to notice among different users or unique ones to your BT) in our signatures as a bit of advetising.

I like the PPV predictions ideas. We could make a thread on that or just use the official promotion "websites".

Also, I'm still trying to get my muse to cooperate with me. I have time to book and write, I just...can't. I'm sure if I work really hard I'll be able to get the first part of SCW4 up soon, and maybe I'll be able to get some more if I can get "in the zone".

Anyone interested in doing a second brand for my WWE BT? Info (would be changed if another was doing it) on the BT in my siggie.

I guess we do what we do.

Also, anybody have to epic names for my weekly television shows. I need some help here.

Hey guys, do you think a BT Hall of Fame would be successful on WZ, I have seen some on other forums, and I reckon it would be pretty cool to do it!

I'm going to start writing up my new BT, so if anyone else writes a show I will be sure to review it. I will start posting a bit more in other sections so people so my sig and come to this section. Megatron, good to have you back.

Yeah there is probably few people who deserve a HOF nod and they aren't active here. First person that came to my mind was NSL and other than that I can't think of anyone that has really generated greatness like he did.
