I just started having a read of the GWA and really liked what i read. Hopefully have some time to go finish reading it some time really soon. You should really think of starting a new one or contineuing on FWA as I belived that seemed like a really good start for a promotion.

I just posted my roster for my fed called Gold Standard Wrestling. My first episode is 95% done and will be posted in the next couple of days. Hope you read it and enjoy it. And please give any feedback or advice you have on the show. I've been thinking about this for awhile and I'm very excited to start my own show!

I'm in a book this type thing on a different forum (not even a wrestling forum, the irony), maybe I'll post up the stuff here if I feel the need. I don't really go in depth, as they wanted to keep it somewhat simple, but it is still in depth enough to know what was going on.

I've just went through this entire area's archives and I've realised something... the promotions aren't long term. Hardly anyone has kept up their BT once they've posted their rosters. It's quite disheartening.

I recently did that as well Falk, some people did a couple of episodes and then stopped and others did a small plan and then added nothing.
I need some advice on my Book This! Would you rather see Cena, Edge and Orton in a match for the WWE title on the next PPV or just Edge vs Cena for the title. And then add Orton vs Sheamus to the card?

IMO:

I'd use the Triple Threat match idea. There are so many options in booking this match more than a singles match and with the competitors involved, it's an interesting appeal. There's an unpredictability factor at play too with other stars like Sheamus who could interfere, since a Triple Threat title match is usually no disqualifications up to a certain point.

The others will be what I call my Main Eventers, so they can go into any title hunt and do not have to be listed to one.

hi, i was thinking about doing a book this some time, but im stumpted on a brand name. Here are a couple of my ideas:

WWC Velocity
WWC Voltage
WWC Termination
WWC Inferno
WWC Burnout
WWC Redemption

IMO, some of these sound too much like PPV's. So any help reguarding a brand name is greatly appreciated.

Voltage sounds like the best option, imo. Velocity has been used by the WWE. Burnout sounds like a show for drug addicts. Redemption and Termination would be better for PPV names, although I don't think they sound like the best option. And Inferno is just kinda lame. So, Voltage.

Thanks for the feedback papa grande. I forgot about WWE's use of velocity and heat, and inferno is a match type which would cause confusion. How does " Last Judgement" sound for a PPV?

Velocity and Redemption are already taken as shows (WWE and this forum's own WZCW, respectively). Inferno is a match type, so that's out. That leaves us with Termination, Burnout and Voltage. Honestly, "Termination" sounds quite cheap, thus making the show weak. Burnout is your user-name and whilst it does advertise your BT... it's not as solid of a name as Voltage.

It's really hard to find a good PPV name these days, but "Last Judgment" sounds like a decent PPV. For booking purposes, I'd use this PPV to end a lot of feuds at (i.e. Armageddon).

Thanks FalKon, WWC Voltage it is unless i find something else, now i can start with my shows. The last judgement name actually came after typing Armageddon to a theosaurus !
