Mid-Card Championship Winner
I think they're both ready. Let's be honest: Sting-Hogan is the main event, so the winner of the BFG series won't be charged with carrying the whole card. But would it say a lot about the tag division if one of these guys jumps seamlessly to the BFG title bout? Yes sir. So who will it be and who should it? I know my preference is Storm but if Mr. Monopoly Money is the company's choice (like he seems to be), so be it. And if that opens the door for Storm to win the belt from Roode at a later date, even better.

Of course there's always the doomsday scenario of Mr. Anderson (who I loathe) taking on Bully Ray (who I surprisingly like a lot). Yeah. Fuck Kenderson. Hopefully in his vocal cords.

Who do you prefer: Storm or Roode?

Roode by about an inch. I think they are both incredibly talented and a smidge below AJ as the best home grown talent in the company.

Storm is too fucking fun and marketable. Imagine TNA selling boozer cruisers. But if they go with either it's most likely Roode. He's more built up and was supposed to feud with Flair before Flair vanished.

I prefer Storm over Roode, but it's pretty close between the two. Honestly two great home-grown stars that need to be split up and main-eventing for TNA.

I like Storm way more. He is a badass Cowboy who I enjoyed from his AMW days. He has a good move set, he is agile for his for his size, and he is damn near great on the mic when he gets time to speak. He has a very catchy catch phrase as in “sorry about your damn luck” as he also has evolved in the ring greatly. Roode was giving a shot a few years back when he was a heel with his constant manage angle they gave him. He failed out and they put him in what was to be the one of the greatest ideas in TNA and that was Beer Money. James Storm has not been allowed a chance to shine from the tag division as Roode has. I like Roode don’t get me wrong but he is just a tad less entertaining then Storm and Storm deserves a chance to shine. I like Storm a tad more than Roode but, either way if one of them wins at least it’s not a former WWE guy again.

I dunno, it seems like an Edge & Christian scenario, one will do better than the other one, but the other one won't do to badly for themselves.

With that said I would like Storm to be the bigger of the two.

Storm is more entertaining but Roode is more realistic. Realistic has a knack of defeating entertainment in professional wrestling, so I'll go with Bobby Roode.

Storm for me but it's not by a great distance or anything although I have liked Storm longer since the AMW days. As an all-round wrestler, Bobby probably sneaks it in terms of ticking the right boxes and striking a better balance, but Storm's character is a lot more entertaining and seems a bit more versatile when it comes to going heel/face. Roode can do the face gig well, no question, but I think he fits the heel role better and could do more with it.

I can see Roode potentially making it bigger, but I'm always going to be rooting for the Storm.

Storm at the moment, maybe because Roodes getting the push I dont know. I am with you, I hope they both do well.

I'd say what Dragon says sums it up best. Roode is very solid and has a good look, he could be more versatile. Storm is probably better all round.

Goodness, it is it even a fucking question?

Roode has the charisma of a fucking parking ticket, fuck him.

It amazes me that with the fact of TNA absolutely NEEDING to re-hash every major successful angle ever, "Redneck battles the establishment" starring James Storm, hasnt happened.

Goodness forbid something entertaining happens

Storm looks a bit casual, to be honest. Roode looks more intense and serious. Storm seems more charismatic because he is the funny one. Haven't really seen his serious side. Roode looks to me like the guy who can sell the intensity of the feud on the mic while Storm is that guy who would knock a beer bottle on the head of his opponent and have a laugh.

So, I would go with Roode.

Roode is ready to be the World Champion, he has it all.

Storm I am less convinced by. He's good, but I cant buy him as World Champion yet. He should become TV champ and give some credibility to that belt, and build up his rep as a singles guy.

Because Roode has so much rep as a singles guy, right?
