BME! Best Movies Ever

This thread is a bit self helping but I think others will get help from this too.

I'm a big movie downloader, yes it's illegal but I don't really care so don't blast me for it. I just don't see the point of paying for a movie that's no longer in theaters. So I want you guys to tell me the absolute best movies you have ever seen, in only the important categories which are Comedy, Action, and Thriller. No Romantic Chick Flick crapola.

So here are the movies that you shouldn't list b/c I already have them.

Uhhhhhh? The Godfather, The Godfather Part 2, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Reservoir Dogs, Jaws, Snatch, Pulp Fiction, City of God, Irreversible. This thread seems like it belongs somewhere more like the Cage, but whatever.

Literally none of the movies you listed are anywhere near, nor should they be anywhere near being called the Best Movie Ever. Funny? Yes. But high quality cinema? No way. If you want to watch true pieces of cinematic mastery then I recommend The Godfather Parts 1 and 2, Shawshank Redemption, or City of God. Great actors making great film moments, the way it should be.

However, if you are going for a more enjoyable film that is great I would say Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. It has an incredibly witty script as well as some of the finest acting you will see from both Robert Downey Jr., and Val Kilmer. A great tribute to the film noirs of the past.

I don't really know what else to say so I anticipate any of the following posters to come in and say something as well, Tdigs, X, JMT, or Mitch.

Se7en - May be my favorite Brad Pitt role (sans Fight Club)

The Departed - I'm gonna guess you've seen it, if not do so now as should anyone else who hasn't.

Scarface, Training Day, Terminator 2 Judgement Day, Die Hard, Rocky 1, 2, 3, Goodfellas, Casino, Rambo 2, Pulp Fiction

Thats just for starters, man there are literally loads of fantastic films you should try out if you havent already seen them.

Most Denzel Washington, Robert De Niro movies are a good place to start
