In short, I got a promotion and my hours essentially doubled, added to the usual commitments to my partner and family and the likes, WZ fell by the wayside.

But the other day, folk at work were chatting about this whole Thanksgiving spiel that our American cousins like to practice, and I had a sort of flashback, an epiphany if you will, much like an amnesia patient regaining their memories, or when Dr. House notices something innocuous and solves the case. I stood bolt upright and yelled, "I REMEMBER NOW. THE TIME HAS COME", and fled my place of employment, leaving behind several overturned tables and shorted electrical circuits. I ran home, a good eight or nine miles mind you, mostly uphill, decelerating only when I realised a some point my left shoe had discarded itself. Collateral, I thought, the moment passed. I arrived home, punting several empty milk bottles as I skipped up the lane. Without hesitation I booted up my laptop and opened the WZ Forums webpage. After a moment's deliberation to recall my password (I struggled to remember which combination of Beautiful South song and pet's birthday), I logged in. Nervously, I checked KB's Thanksgiving thread. My hands became unsteady and clammy. I drank a whole 1.5 litre bottle of Lucozade in about four gulps. Would they remember me? Would they care if I made a comeback? Better make a thread, shit man, quick make a thread! Time passed. Responses came in. My heart was warmed.

It's definitely hit and miss these days, at least in TNA. Granted there's a transition and they're trying to prop up new talent. ROH is about the same, if you watch it that is.
