Black Lesnar CONSPIRACY!

BradTheGreat

Dark Match Winner
Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar.

- Big, athletic guys
- MONSTER pushes
- Same initials
- Same entrance (jump up to ring, pull ropes)
- Terrible on the mic (although im sure that wasnt part of the gimmick v_v)

AND both of them cruised off to MMA.

2 attempts at the same charachter?
Will there be a 'third times the charm' attempt? If so, who will it be?

Discuss.....

idk, i know that there will never be another lesnar, he was imo #1 in the pro wrestling business above everyone else by far... if they try to remake him again they'll probably mess up like they did w lashley, although tna is trying to do the brock push with matt morgan, its just not the same, especially when matt morgan was brocks bitch in wwe

Batista was supposed to be the new Lesnar. But Batista wasnt near the athlete that Lesnar is, so he basically failed miserably. I do think that WWE is going to give another amateur wrestler another big push. That guy is obviously Jack Swagger. Jack has the look, size, speed, and credentials that Lashley and Lesnar had. So they'll be giving that monster push sooner or later. I dont have a problem with that. He's a great athlete and has a lot of potential.

I don't think we need to recruit any amateur wrestlers. I think if anybody gets in this business, it should be because they want it, and not lured in by a fat contract. Because if you do not expect the lifestyle, and respect the business, you will not last. They need to focus on pushing the talent they already have. I personally started watching wrestling because everyone was so different. Mankind, Kane, The Oddities, Undertaker, it was like a circus. Everybody looks the same, and how many "cocky young guys" do we need on the roster? Its all cookie cutter gimmicks. Can't creative, get creative?

i do agree with the swagger thing, i have seen how they have pushed him and l loved it when he won the title, the only thing about him is his lisp is rediculous, although its not everyday you get someone thats excellent in all levels (lesnar) so the wwe has to work with what they are given. id like to see swagger in a feud with orton sooner or later for a world title

To a degree you could say Jack Swagger is the 3rd incarnation. He is similar in size to both Bobby, And Brock. He's just not as packed muscle wise. He has been pushed hard over on ECW, Beating a few establisted star's. Then gaining the ECW championship. Since then he's only lost like twice.

I think he is being pushed as the next big thing, But slower than Bobby, And Brock. So WWE doesn't put all of their egg's into one basket as before.

I'm not sure if there will ever be another Brock Lesnar in the near future, at least in terms of how fast the character was pushed. Vince put alot behind Lesnar's push, allowing him to go over the likes of Hogan, Rock, and so many more top names, while also giving him 3 WWE Championship reigns (and they were very dominant reigns, might I add). Vince and the WWE invested so much into Lesnar, only for Lesnar to leave the company way too soon to pursue other interests. I'm sure Vince will be cautious about giving out another one of those monster pushes for some time to come still. It really backfired on him with Lesnar, and, to a smaller extent, with Lashley as well, although the WWE didn't invest in him nearly as much as they did with Lesnar. I just don't see another Lesnar-like character getting another Lesnar-like push anytime soon in the WWE.

All of these monster pushes early for similar looking guys (Lesnar, Lashley, et al) are all rehashes of Goldberg's initial push in WCW (minus the undefeated streak in some cases). I some how don't think the WWE has learned its lesson. If someone comes in and is over and can sell tickets and get PPV buys, they will get pushed to the moon, and their commitment to the business will not be evaluated.

They always seem to be looking for big guys. In the last year they've brought in Swagger (who is doing pretty well), Kozlov (fail), and Eziekiel (fail), I would also count DJ Gabriel if his gimmick wasn't lame. They are looking for big athletic guys because its easy to put them over. They have high impact moves, can really fight, and they are believable. They help create the illusion and put the show over. That heavyweight MMA look is what sells nowadays and they will probably never stop pushing people who have that look when they come into the business.

Wow am i stupid i never did think about that but anyway my answer to your question is a resounding No well sort of.
I think Vince has learned his lesson.
he isnt gonna push anyone ever again to be the next main event so quick.
both were pushed heavily and put at the top then Lesnar left to mma and then so did lashley.
I think that if they are gonna have a next main event then he is gonna have to be pushed real slowly.
Ps. i think Swagger may be the new one based on how he is being pushed and because he is strong and muscled.
