I did a thread similar to this in The Old School section of this Forum. But since I am not yet permitted to post there, here we go...
I was basically doing a series comparing a promo from 2 wrestlers. I asked people's opinion on who's promo was the better of the 2 examples I provided, as well as who was the better overall Mic Worker. I compared the likes of Jake Roberts, Mr. Perfect, Sting, and Bret Hart.
This is a spin off of that series. The difference with this thread, is I am going to compare wrestlers considered the WORST Mic Workers.
In this "edition"... I ask who is the worst on the mic, between "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner and Sid "Vicious".
Both guys are notorious for messing up their lines, and also being repetitive. As repetitive as they both are, it is amazing that they would even mess up sayings they use weekly, if not daily.
I respect both guys' effort to put on a show and be an entertainer. I do not hate either wrestler, and I am not disrespecting them. But their promo skills, or lack there of, are well known and in some cases, are the perfect example of what not to do.
I will add my opinion later on...
For now, I simply ask this...
Who is worse on the mic? Not who is the worst of all time. AND NOT who is worse than these 2.
EASY... Compare Scott Steiner and Sid... Who is the worst of the 2, on the mic. The one play off the question that can be made is who is better. You can go either way, for sake of the thread.
