Best Comedy Duo Of All Time

Spidey Revivey

Porn is okay here long as it ain't dudes.
There's just a love for comedic pairings in Hollywood and it's been going on for a very, very long time. We love some duality in our comedies. So let's figure out here on WrestleZone who would win a popularity contest.

For me, it's easy: Walter Matthau & Jack Lemmon are the best duo of all time. They each generally represent a certain lifestyle that just clashes; Matthau usually playing the slob manly man while Lemmon was a neatfreak character (Odd Couple, Grumpy Old Men, Out To Sea, etc).

When I was younger, I was introduced to Grumpy Old Men when it was playing on a small television screen in McDonald's (yeah, that used to be a thing) and from what I gather online, they've starred in about 10 movies together.

So, how about it? Which two are the best comedy duo of all time?

Well, if we're going by popularity contest rules, I'm going with Chris Farley and David Spade.

I LOVED Tommy Boy and Black Sheep as a kid, and I can still laugh myself into tears with both films now a days. Farley and Spade shared excellent chemistry together. Farley was the obnoxious and dimwitted oaf, who had to prove himself. He had to prove he wasn't lazy slacker and a screw-up. Three of my favorite scenes from Tommy Boy:

In Tommy Boy, Farley had to prove he could be a responsible adult, and sell enough brake pads to save his dad's company. In Black Sheep, Farley helped his brother expose a crooked campaign to win a governor's spot. Spade plays the role of a babysitter with a snobbish superiority complex in both films, and the formula was still fresh in Black Sheep.

Brian O'Halloran & Jeff Anderson\ Kevin Smith & Jason Mewes seem to be a duo of pairs that round out the Askewniverse. If not for those 4 none of those movies would be any good. Great dynamic between the pairs & they play off each other well.

Also big mention to Trey Parker & Matt Stone. They have brought us all some classic lines\scenes. Oh and Julian Barratt\Noel Fielding have done some funny shit over the years as well.

Dont forget one of my all-time favorite's: Gene Wilder & Richard Pryor.
