Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh
Like the thread of a similar title in the Movie/TV section, I want to know what you think the best covert art is for an album, and why. Please, don't spam.

I love the album cover for Godsmack ~ The Other Side. It was an all acoustic album, and the cover shows that. And, since it was different than anything else they had done, it worked to use a different kind of cover. You can look at that, and know what kind of mood they were in when they wrote it. It's a nice, relaxing album, and it shows, without even opening the case.

The stuff that has been done for Mastodon over the last three albums, Leviathan, Blood Mountain and Crack the Skye have all been brilliantly done and all have that creepy heavy feeling that the music has. Paul Romano's artwork on all three of them is all filled with inspiration from the music, And I think there is Influence of the Artwork on the music as well.

Nirvana - Nevermind.

I think that's the name of the album - the one with the naked baby on the front. I won't post it here for that reason. But I love it. It's so simple, so random, and causes such a stir in people; perfect for the band.

I have to go with Brand New-The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me:

The picture is just so simple, but still so haunting. I just can't describe why this artwork is so good. It just fits with the rest of the album so well. A lot people think the album is about a little girl who was killed by a drunk driver after she was a flower girl at a wedding and the drunk driver coming to accept what he has done. the artwork just seems to show that the good and evil are discussing which pathy to take involving the girl while she is trying to figure it out herself. I don't know, its just so awesome.

Man, this really is the easiest question i've ever answered on this forum

Pantera - Vulgar Display Of Power

Not only is it just a hilarious picture, but it totally encapsulates

A) The album title
B) The tone of the album, say in comparison to CFH
C) Gives you a pretty accurate depiction of what you'll do/suffer if you rock out to this album in a crowded room
