Batista Turning Heel?

I wouldnt do this is i were WWE... They already have heels who can main event (King Booker is great.. & Mark Henry is in the main event for no reason! but they're both heels) As for Faces, the WWE has Rey Mysterio for the main events (even though he doesnt really belong there) and supposed to have returning Batista... When Benoit comes back, that would be a better time for that. I mean they hafta have a GOOD face...
I don't buy Batista as a heel when he comes back. On a totally different matter, how can Cena's face run be so long yet so unsucessful with the public over time, while Batista's face run has been so successful over such a time period and he has the unanimous approval of the crowd yet the WWE want to turn him heel. People don't like Cena, they keep him face. People still love Batista, they want to turn him heel. Sometimes I just don't get WWE management. Anyways, there is a possibility that if Batista turns on Rey, he'll start getting pops instead of heat, effectively making him the face and Rey the heel. That's what I see happening.

Sy88 is right. I don't get the WWE also. They have tried to push CENA to the fans as the all american hero and people hate him. Batista has accomplished much much more! People really like Batista.
I think it will be a bad idea. WWE needs a strong solid FACE and that equals BATISTA!

This IMO would be great! and raise the SD rating to the max. I would love to see Booker fued with Rey first though and take the title. Batista shouldn't go into the WHC div straight away, a fued with Henry would be kool with Henry winning and the Animal going from goodie goodie to baddie baddie.

Batista will not return as a heel because the crowd is going to want to cheer him when he comes back. Think about those who have been out extended periods of time...well, significant wrestlers anyway: Austin, Benoit, Edge, hell even HHH, all of them came back as a face...even though HHH's time was short lived.
When a big name is off for a long time, there is always a nice build-up so the fans can blow the roof off the place when the entrance music hits for them.
Batista will make a heel turn this year, but I don't see it happening until around Survivor Series.

He will be cheered when he comes back but I think a heel turn would be good news. He is very much in the mould as Brock Lesner(although not as talented in the ring or on the mic) who worked brilliantly as a heel. Lets be clear on this Smackdown DOES need a main event heel. Henry and Booker? No sorry nethier of them are main event status. While Henry is convincing as a monster in the back of my mind every time I see him I think "his 70 year old girlfriend gave birth to a hand" so he does not fit in main event status for me. With Booker again I remember his almost comical character when he entered and again never really fits into main event status, despite his ablity. Batastia would fill the Gap nicley, apparently Rey is taking time off soon to recover from a back injury.How cool would it be if it was his friend Batastia who put him out of action? Instant heel heat for Batastia. Yes Triple H was cheered when he returned after Vengance 2005 he turned on Ric Flair and instanly became hated again. I hope they do this.

He became one of my favorites when he was face run on SD I hope it dosnt happen but it could set up Batista v Undertaker for the WHC which would be great to see.

Eh, Batista going heel, I'm really not buying that. No matter how hard you push him as one, too the fans I think he'll stay face. (Unless you put him out there and let him talk about how he hates the fans) Otherwise, I think Ken Kennedy, Mark Henry, Batista and Rey will form the World Heavyweight fued in the near future.
Well, I can't exactly imagine ken kennedy being in the WHC run so soon. However, I do agree with Henry and Rey. As for Batista, that's a tough one cause it seems as though he can do both heel adnd face very well.However, i would like him to remain face. I mean about how many heels do we have on SD, we got Booker, Finlay, Regal, Henry, and Khali (and of course more but I mean just the main status people). And as for face, we got Lashley and rey, so it may be a good thing that batista remain face. And yeah, I can't wit until Batista regains his title, because to me, the only two on SD who right now seem to deserve the WHC would be Batista and Undertaker.
