I was looking forward to it until I just read a detail about the plot to the film revolving around the marines on the alien planet trying to obtain a resource called unobtainium. Yes, you did read that correctly, the thing they are hunting for is called fucking UNOBTAINium.

Unobtainium? I think that was used the in The Core too. It was the metal used to make the ship I think.

I do want to see this film though and i think it will be the Wednesday after it comes out when I do.

Oh I'll definitely be seeing it as well, Cameron only seems to release a movie per decade these years (he's like Dr. Dre), so I'm going to check it out. But seriously...unobtainium? That has to be the laziest fucking writing I've ever seen.

It's going to make money on James Cameron alone, for sure. I never said it wouldnt turn a profit. I just think with what they spend on it, that it wont make nearly as much as they hoped. Its billed as a winter blockbuster, but really, and I believe this. That its kind of going to be like that big box under the tree thats wrapped up real nice. But instead of something cool in it, it's going to be a lifetime supply of socks.

Terminator 2 in my opinion is one of the greatest movies ever made (if not THE greatest), and I'd hate to see the mastermind behind it legacy go to shame because of this.

Avatar does look like trash though, and I think a lot of people feel the same way. Though, we do live in a country where New Moon set fucking box office records, so you never know....
