Australia's Prime Minister Gets Sacked

Now we have our first-ever female Prime Minister in charge, Julia Gillard. History-making decision that was only done so that the current party in parliament (the Labor party) would remain in government for the next election.

Tactical or under-handed decision? Will this mean the end of kitchen jokes in Australia?

Obviously this is historic, and the Labor Party has been unpopular for a while, and i never support Labor, they fucking ran our country into the ground over the decades and, just because Gillard is PM, people have still lost faith in the ALP. And when the next federal election comes, i can sense that ALP will be ousted.

Either way Lee, im glad Rudd is gone as are most people who he became unpopular with, still Labor both in Federal and State governments, have done piss poor jobs for years, just because we have a female prime minister, ALP has lost support because they couldn't deliver all their promises and they never have. The last Labor government beforet his ran this country into the ground and we had a recession.

When I saw the story, they said sacked. Now that I am viewing Kevin's speech right now, it says stood down.

But yeah, how he got voted in instead of John Howard is a mystery to me.
