Cena's Little Helper
Mid-Card Championship Winner
As the title of this post indicates, this is a thread dedicated to those wrestlers who must, more often than not, perform the walk of shame back to the locker room while their opponent basks in the glory of a victory. My inspiration for this thread came while watching an episode of WWF Prime Time Wrestling wherein the Junkyard Dog laid down for the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. While this alone should not have been a cause for concern, it made me think: the only thing of real significance that I could recall the JYD winning in the WWF/E was the 1985 Wrestling Classic. But, even after realizing that I had always marked for a man with an abysmally low win to loss ratio, I could not have cared less. Because of his catchy theme music, because of his terrific and hilarious no-selling of head shots, because of his short but fast jabs, because he routinely got on all fours and head-butted his opponents all around the ring, because he brought in kids from the crowd to dance with him in the ring, because of all this, I always had a soft spot in my heart for the JYD.
So, fellow forum-members, if you would indulge me, I would like to hear of the enhancement talent that you can't help but cheer, even if it is a lost cause. Of course, who you mention does not necessarily have to be someone who spent almost all of his career as a jobber (e.g. Mike Sharpe or the Brooklyn Brawler). It could be someone who either became a jobber once he jumped ship to another company (e.g., the JYD once he left Mid-South for WWF/E) or it could be someone who, as they got older, gradually transitioned into a jobber (e.g. Jimmy Snuka or Hacksaw Jim Duggan).
