Hi i am 30 yr old male from the UK, Who always dreamed of one day being a wrestler, I was once upon a time lucky enough to have attended the late
Jackie Pallo's wrestling school in Canterbury UK.
When i first started training (early 90's) i was 140 pound kid with a dream, Pretty quickly i became a 260 pound monster and wrestling became my focus in life, I spent an obscene amount of time in the gym and things started to fall into place for me just before i was 18. Until one day while showing off for girls i blew my left knee out and it became impossible for me to focus just on wrestling (I was still walking with a limp 7 years after
).
I respect you guys so much for all the blood sweat and tears you guys give for the fans, Even if some people can be disrespectful. I once lost the best part of 3 teeth in a training session (I shrugged it off and carried on lol) but never actually got in the ring at a live show.
I am now a father of four and i weigh around 170 pounds and wrestling and training are far in my past (Not enough time being a father now anyway lol)
It must be a buzz and scary to look out and see thousands of fans and cameras rolling ready to focus on you and your opponent and know you have to keep them happy.
My question's, What was the scariest moment so far for you at a live event?
And, What is the worst injury you have suffered during your career?
