Harrys: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Now should either Vengeance or Ty Burna make the pinfall in this match, they will be the Number One Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at Apocalypse!

Out onto the stage, emerges a cloaked Ty Burna.

Vengeance makes his way onto the stage dressed in a hooded white robe.

Showtime makes his way to the ring.Titus making his way out onto the stage, he responds to their reaction by pointing in a panning motion back to them before heading down the ramp

Vengeance and Ty both double team and irish whip Titus, hitting a double back flip on him.

Titus kips up to an ovation and knocks Ty forward with an elbow from behind.

Ty grabs Showtime by the hair and slams his head to the mat

Vengeances uses the time to look at Titus with a sick smile

Vengeance hits the Judge, Jury and Executioner on Showtime. He gives a sign as Titus and mouthing “See you at Apocalypse”. He drops down to his knees and goes for the cover on Showtime, only at the same time, Titus reaches out with all his might and manages to tag Showtime’s foot, making a legal tag and he runs in to kick Vengeance in the face and run at Ty to knock him off the apron to the floor below.

Copeland: Titus finally getting some payback on these two monsters.

Titus feels the adrenaline rushing and sees Vengeance ready in position, so he runs at him and hits The Tit Drop, he goes for the cover but Ty is back up and drags him outside.

Titus jumps up to the apron and grabs Vengeance’s leg which distracts him, allowing Show to quickly lock in and hit The Final Act from the top rope, taking out both himself and Vengeance. Titus signals to the crowd as he climbs up the turnbuckle and measures the distance before leaping off with a graceful Red Comet which connects, the crowd get excited 1……2…..Ty drags Titus off from the outside.

Copeland: Damn, we thought Titus had it, but Ty had another thing coming!

Cohen:
Neither Ty or Vengeance will give up that chance for the title.

Ty gets back into the ring as he stands stalking behind Titus who's getting back to his feet. Right before Titus up and can get a move in, Ty runs up and and hits the Consecrated Banishment to take the champion out.

Ty goes for another Consecrated Banishment on Showtime only for him to duck to take him and Ty over the top rope to the floor. Meanwhile on the inside of the ring, Vengeance gets a hand over Titus 1……..2……..3. The bell sounds but Showtime and Ty don’t care they keep exchanging lefts and rights with each other on the floor as the referees try to break up the brawling.

Harrys: As Vengeance made the pin, he is the Number One Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship!

In a moment of rage, Ty runs and slams Showtime’s back into the steel steps, getting in a rather angry state from the situation. Vengeance is still sitting before it finally hits him and a sick smile cracks through once again before he looks at Titus who’s slowly stirring, the stare just looks so deadly.

*Pryos go off*

Connor: Apocalypse is drawing near as we find out that Titus will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Vengeance, it's a match that will not be for the feint of heart. Live from Jackson, Louisiana I am Cat Connor alongside Jack Cohen, here and ready to call another exciting episode of Ascension!

The Ascension theme continues to play as General Manager Vance Bateman heads down to the ring, he looks very disappointed but it's uncertain as to why.

Cohen: Wonder what Bateman has got to say tonight? Maybe he's putting the World Title on the line here tonight?! Vengeance finally gets the World Title by excellent booking!

Connor: I doubt it's that but we'll find out.

Bateman is now in the ring and has a microphone in hand, he looks down at the ground before taking a moment to look up towards the crowd.

Bateman: Last night on Meltdown, we saw a new challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship named in the form of Vengeance. But what we also witness as well was something beyond discipline and even was potentially life threatening to other people on the WZCW Staff. Let's take a moment to rewatch it on the titantron.

Ty runs up and and hits the Consecrated Banishment to take the champion out. Showtime who’s using the ropes to pull himself up isn’t aware of what’s just occurred as Ty looks to strike him as well. He has himself lined up and goes for another Consecrated Banishment only for Showtime to duck and then take him and Ty over the top rope to the floor. Meanwhile on the inside of the ring, Vengeance gets a hand over Titus 1……..2……..3. The bell sounds but Showtime and Ty don’t care they keep exchanging lefts and rights with each other on the floor as the referees try to break up the brawling. They eventually do so but Showtime then runs at Ty as they brawl over the announce table, forcing Copeland and Cohen to make way for the fight. The referees finally drag Showtime off as Ty tries to recover and get off the announce table and there’s some quiet and calmness in the arena.

Harrys: The winners of this match, Vengeance and Ty Burna. As Vengeance made the pin, he is the Number One Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship!

The crowd boos heavily as Vengeance finally sits up and in a moment of rage, Ty runs and slams Showtime’s back into the steel steps, getting in a rather angry state from the situation. Vengeance is still sitting before it finally hits him and a sick smile cracks through once again before he looks at Titus who’s slowly stirring, the stare just looks so deadly.

Bateman: I am personally disgusted by the actions of Ty Burna who could have indefinitely injured Showtime Cougar, and likewise I did not approval of Showtime's retaliation. So I have officially sent them home as I want neither on them in this arena because I value the safety of everyone from the locker room to the backstage area.

The crowd gives a mixed reaction

That being said, I've made a decision regarding these two. As they seem to be having some difficulty co-existing, I'm going to put them in a match at Apocalypse. We will be seeing Ty Burna take on Showtime Cougar one on one, and I want them to be as professional about this and aim to entertain you fans not destroy the hell out of each other. That's my final word on the matter.

Now we have an impressive line up on Ascension tonight, we have the Mayhem Title on the line. We got Scott Hammond taking on the Elite X Champion Austin Reynolds, could he possibly cause a stir with his pending Contender's match next week? And we have Everest taking on Garth Black tonight in our Main Event...

"Headstrong" starts playing as Elite X Champion Austin Reynolds makes his way out onto the stage with a mic in hand.

Reynolds: Now excuse me Mr. Bateman, but I do not approve of this match you booked me in against Scott Hammond. It's bad enough that I have to either face him or Beckford at Apocalypse. But when you seem to be caring about the welfare of the locker room, you forgot that I was double teamed by them two last night! You should be caring about "your" champion as he is the Ratings Winner! Hammond and Beckford should be suspended immediately and think twice about that title shot, but if you don't provide that sort of protection for me, I'm refusing to work this match tonight!

Bateman: Well then Austin, let me make this clear. Despite the Elite X Title being Ascension branded, Chuck Myles made that call and for once I actually agreed with his decision, so they will be still facing off. As for them being suspended, didn't you attack Blade from behind and teamed up with Big Dave to beat him down before Hammond and Beckford gave you same the treatment?

Reynolds: That was business!

Bateman: And so is this decision, if you refuse to do this match tonight, I will strip you of the Elite X Championship and make Beckford and Hammond contest for it at Apocalypse in your place.

Reynolds screams in a rage at Bateman.

And that is final! Get out of my sight before I suspend YOU!

Reynolds is beyond angry and makes comments towards Bateman before finally leaving behind the curtain.

Ladies and Gentleman, I apologise for that inconvience, now let's roll on Ascension!

Bateman leaves up the ramp to the Ascension theme.

Anderson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Guttermouth hits and Gordito comes out onto the ramp. He goes to the right of the stage and motions to the crowd before making his way down the ramp.

Anderson: Introducing first, San Francisco, CA, Gordito!

He motions to the crowd on the left side as he goes down the ramp. He slides into the ring and gets up on the turnbuckle, does his signature taunt.

Connor: This hot new rookie has been talked about alot over the last few weeks!

Cohen: Can you say Flash in the Pan?

The lights dim as Nightwish hits. Chris Jones appears on stage and makes his way down the ramp.

Anderson: And his opponent, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Chris Jones!

Jones gets in the ring and stares across the ring at the defiant looking Gordito. The referee calls for the bell and Jones begins with the trash talk. Gordito shrugs and hits Jones with a right hand, followed by a second and third. Gordito Irish Whips Jones, he returns after bouncing off the ropes and ducks under Gordito’s clothesline before running into the opposite ropes. He returns again and Gordito catches him with a Samoan Drop. Gordito gets up and plays to the crowd who cheer for him. He goes to pick up Jones, but Jones catches him in the midsection with a series of forearm shots. Gordito stumbles back and Jones comes off the ropes, hitting a big Leg Lariat. Jones goes for the pin, 1... 2... Gordito kicks out. Jones pick him up and backs him into the corner. Jones smirks and grabs Gordito’s arm. Jones climbs the turnbuckles and walks along the ropes before jumping off and hitting a armbar takedown. Jones again goes for the pin, 1... 2... Gordito kicks out. Jones starts stomping on Gordito’s injured arm, making Gordito shout out in pain with every stomp. He picks up Gordito’s arm and locks in a Crucifix Armbar, making Gordito again scream out in agony. But Gordito uses his strength to roll Jones back onto his shoulders for a pin, 1... 2... Jones breaks the armbar and rolls off his shoulders, but goes straight back to stomping on Gordito’s arm.

Connor: Jones being intelligent here by taking advantage of Gordito’s hurt arm.

Cohen: That’s just Smart Wrestling 101, Cat.

Jones goes to drop a knee across Gordito’s arm, but Gordito rolls out of the way and Jones smashes his knee off the mat. Gordito goes to make the comeback, hitting Jones with a European Uppercut followed by a dropkick. Both men quickly get back up and Gordito lays into Jones with chops, backing Jones into the ropes. Gordito walks backwards a few steps, motioning to the crowd before running at Jones. But Jones gets out of the way just in time, sending Gordito into the ropes. Gordito bounces back into Jones who nails him with a Dragon Suplex with a bridge, 1... 2... Gordito manages to kick out. Jones lets out a frustrated sigh before picking up Gordito and throwing him outside the ring. Gordito tries to get some distance between Jones and himself, but Jones grabs him by the arm and swings it into the corner post of the ring. A sickening crack is heard through the arena as Jones rolls Gordito back into the ring, breaking the referee’s count at 6. Jones goes for a quick pin, 1... 2... Gordito gets his shoulder up. Jones picks Gordito up and gives him a quick snap suplex before ascending the nearest turnbuckle. He gets to the top rope and stands up straight before going for the Moonsault. Gordito moves out of the way, as Jones crashes to the mat. Gordito quickly stands over Jones and locks in the Surf’s Up, making Jones scream out in pain.

Connor: After all the pain Gordito has been through during the match, it makes a change to hear Jones screaming out!

Jones tries to shake himself free, but Gordito doesn’t let go. Jones manages to wrench his legs free and is able to stand up, but Gordito holds on to his arms while getting up. Gordito pulls Jones backwards towards him and hits a Russian Leg Sweep. Gordito gets back up clutching his arm. Jones slowly gets up and walks into a kick to his gut from Gordito. Gordito nails Jones with the Meteor of War and rolls him over for the pin, 1... 2... 3!

Anderson: Here is your winner, Gordito!

Gordito holds up his good arm before getting out of the ring. He walks half way up the ramp before turning around. He looks at the dazed Jones in the ring.

Cohen: Gordito got lucky, Jones dominated the match!

Connor: Either way, an impressive win by the young rookie!

Anderson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Suicide Messiah by Black Label Society hits as Jordan Lights makes his way out to a loud pop. He runs to each side of the stage, pumping his fist on each side. He walks down the ramp with a focused look on his face. He enters the ring and poses for the fan which gets another pop.

Anderson: Introducing first, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He stands 6'4" and weighs 255 lbs, Jordan Lights!

We Fly High by Jim Jones begins playing as Mr. Baller makes his way out with a basketball in hand, and his WZCW Tag Team title belt around his waist. He begins spinning the ball on his finger as he walks down the entrance ramp. The crowd cheers for Baller as he enters the ring. He pulls out a sharpie and autographs it before tossing the ball out into the crowd.

Anderson: And his opponent, from Miami, Florida. He stands 6'3" and weighs 220 lbs, one half of the WZCW Tag Team Champions, Mr. Baller!

Connor: Lights looks to make an impression tonight by defeating one of the men who took the WZCW Tag Team titles from Heavy Artillery at Apocalypse.

Cohen: The Ghetto Stars have been on a role, though they will be facing some stiff competition from a number of teams to hold on to that gold.

The ref signals for the bell and both men look to lock up. Both men struggle for the upper hand when Baller is able to push Lights into the corner. The ref counts to 4 as Baller separates from Lights and signals for him to attack. Lights goes for a clothesline but Baller ducks under and springboards off the second turnbuckle, hitting a back elbow. Lights falls to the mat as Baller stomps away before going for his standing leg drop. Lights moves out of the way and hits a few European Uppercuts on the rising Baller. Lights whips Baller into the ropes and catches him with a sidewalk slam. He immediately hooks the leg and gets a two count. Lights gets up, dragging Baller up with him. He hits another European uppercut before connecting with a swinging neckbreaker.

Connor: Pretty good back and forth action here Cohen, what will this mean for Heavy Artillery if Lights gets the victory on Baller tonight?

Cohen: Simple CC, it'll get them that much closer to a title match and the right to regain their titles.

Lights pulls Baller up again and whips him into the corner. He goes for a followup splash, but Baller moves out of the way. Lights backs up after hitting the turnbuckle, only to get sent back into it by a dropkick from Baller. Baller turns Lights around and connects with a huracanrana. He flips over Lights and goes for the pin, getting a two count. Baller gets up and goes for his standing leg drop once more, connecting this time across Lights' chest. He pulls Lights up and whips him into the ropes. Lights goes for a clothesline but Baller rolls under it and flips Lights over with a quick arm drag. Both men are up quickly as Baller hits another arm drag. Lights gets up once more only to get hit with a dropkick. Baller climbs the top rope and waits for Lights to get up once more. As he rises and turns towards the corner, Baller comes flying off the top rope with a crossbody. He hooks the leg and gets a two count.

Cohen: For supposed tag team specialist, these two are showing their abilities as single competitors. They should be running out of gas here shortly seeing as they don't have anyone to rely upon.

Connor: That's a good point Cohen, will either of these men build up too much fatigue?

Baller drags Lights towards the corner and signals for the Buzzerbeater. He hops up to the top and comes bouncing off, but misses the mark as Lights moves out of the way. Lights slides out of the ring and pulls Baller out to the ring apron. He connects with an elbow across the chest as the ref begins the ten count. He punches away at Baller before sliding back into the ring at the count of five. He pulls Baller up and lifts him up for a suplex, but Baller floats over and hits a dropsault as Lights turns around. Baller looks to hook on The Gamechanger submission, but Lights quickly kicks Baller off. Baller goes for a clothesline but Lights ducks, hits a knee to the midsection, and quickly lifts Baller up and hits the C.Y.A.! He covers Baller and gets the three count.

Anderson: Here is your winner, Jordan Lights!

Connor: An outstanding performance from both of these men. Jordan Lights is able to get a pinfall victory over one half of the Tag Team Champions.

Cohen: It was a close match CC, but Baller once again proves he's incompetent in the ring on his own. Lights isn't safe either, he struggled heavily without his wannabe rockstar in his corner.

Lights get his hand raised in victory as Baller rolls out of the ring with his Tag Team Title in his grasp. Lights points at Baller and motions for the belt around his waist.

Inside Vance Bateman's office who's at his desk watching Ascension live with Becky Serra.

Bateman: Impressive work by both Karzai and Lights in their matches this week. I tell you what, next week on Ascension, Heavy Artillery will face the winner of the Crash-Klinic/Pride of Toyota match and that match will be for the Tag Team Number One Contendership, facing The Ghetto Stars at Apocalypse.

Serra: Great call there Mr. Bateman. It's another match to make Ascension and Apocalypse great!

Bateman: Indeed, but all that leaves is a match for the Mayhem Title. I want to give the fans something special, something that would see guys ascend at the opportunity for gold, climbing up with only success in mind, reaching up and out so that they can touch the gold physically for them to be the champion.

Serra: I'm sure you'll come up with something Mr. Bateman. If you excuse me, I have see if I can get any last minute words from anyone regarding their matches tonight. I will see you later.

Becky opens the door and notices an electrician on a ladder working on some maintenance outside the office.

Excuse me

Becky closes the door as Bateman watches on in a deep line of thought

Bateman: Hmmm...

Anderson: This match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the Mayhem Title!

“Sound of Madness” by Shinedown hits and the massive John Smith comes out onto the stage.

Anderson: First, the challenger from London, England and weighing in at 250 pounds, John Smith!

Smith gives a arrogant look to the crowd as he stands in the ring waiting for his opponent. “Goodbye” by SR 71 hits, and KillJoy appears on the stage, belt around his waist and chair in hand. He heads to the ring, slapping hands with the fans with a big smile visible behind his mask

Anderson: And his opponent, from Rat’s Ass, America, the new WZCW Mayhem Champion, The KillJoy!

He takes off his belt to pose for the cameras as he enters the ring, but is attacked as soon as he turns around by John Smith. Smith pounds away as the Mayhem title and the chair KillJoy brought to the ring land on the floor near the ramp and the bell sounds to officially start the match. Smith picks up the champ and launches him with a half nelson suplex. Smith goes over to the KillJoy and picks him up to launch him again, this time with a straitjacket suplex! Smith gets up and lets out a yell before go into the cover, 1…2 and he barely gets 2 on the champ. Smith looks angry and starts stomping away at the head and chest of his opponent before heading outside and under the ring for a weapon. After a few seconds, he finds a table and slides it into the ring under the bottom rope. Smith sets up the table in the middle of the ring and signals for the Straitjacket Powerbomb. He picks up KillJoy and lifts him for the powerbomb but KillJoy slips out the back. He spins around and puts Smith through the table with a German suplex! The crowd goes crazy as the champ shakes out the cobwebs from Smith’s early flurry of offense. He picks up the challenger and hits him with a quick series of kicks before shooting Smith off into the ropes and hitting him with a belly-to-belly suplex. The impact causes Smith to bounce back onto his feet. The KillJoy sees an opportunity and shows off his strength by hitting Smith with an Uranage Backbreaker before chaining it into a beautiful DDT. KillJoy looks around and smiles as he sees his chair and belt. He heads outside of the ring to retrieve them.

Connor: The KillJoy is showing why he is the Mayhem Champion.
Cohen: Oh no! Now Smith’s gonna get his bell rung!

KillJoy returns to the ring and puts Smith in the camel clutch position while he holds the chair in one hand and the Mayhem title in the other. He starts hitting Smith in the face, first with the chair then alternating with the belt, yelling “Ding Dong!” after each shot with the crowd yelling along. The KillJoy signals to the crowd that it is all over as he heads to a corner and puts his hands together as if he’s praying. Smith slowly starts climbing to his feet, showing that he has been busted open from the shots to the head. Smith turns around and gets nailed with the Smashmouth! The KillJoy falls into the cover, 1…2…3!

Anderson: The winner, and still Mayhem Champion, The KillJoy!

The KillJoy hops out of the pin and grabs his belt and chair, both with a few drops of blood on them, and celebrates by posing for the crowd while Smith gets checked on by the referee.

Anderson: The following tag team match is scheduled for one fall!

“Black Betty” by Ram Jam hits and Doug Crashin appears on stage, microphone in hand. The music cuts out as he begins to speak.

Crashin: I’ve heard the mumblings. People saying that the Crash-Klinic will never hold tag team gold and that choosing me was a step down for Dr. Kurtesy. I will give them that we have not tasted sweet success just yet, but there is no doubt that the Crash-Klinic is the best tag team in WZCW. Tonight, the turn around begins against the fat Asian and the monkey man.

Crashin is now in the middle of the ring, looking out at the crowd as their boos rain down on him.

Crashin: Ladies and gentlemen, the Crash-Klinic weighs in tonight at 475 pounds. First, I am Misterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Incredible, Doug Crashinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

The crowd boos some more, and it gets even louder as “Bad Case of Loving You” starts to play and Dr. Steven Kurtesy comes out onto the stage.

Crashin: And my partner, Doctorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Steven Kurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrtesyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

The Crash-Klinic heads to their corner to discuss strategy as “Teeth” by Lady Gaga hits and Wasabi Toyota and Hunter Kravinoff come out from behind the curtain.

Anderson: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 795 pounds, Wasabi Toyota and Hunter Kravinoff, the Pride of Toyota!

The four men stare across the ring at each, with Toyota looking about as big as the other three men combined. Dr. Kurtesy starts it off for the Crash-Klinic as Toyota and Kravinoff head to their corner. Toyota heads to the apron as Kravinoff continues to discuss strategy with him. Neither man realizes that Kurtesy is in the ring as he runs over and rams Kravinoff into Toyota and pins the wild man with an O’Connor roll as the bell rings! 1…2…and a kick out by Kravinoff. Both members of the Pride of Toyota look dazed after their collision in the corner. Kurtesy looks frustrated, but wastes little time before locking in a sleeper hold on an already woozy Hunter Kravinoff.

Connor: I must admit, that was very smart by Steven Kurtesy to gain the advantage over his much larger opponents.
Cohen: Smart? CC, that was brilliant. Rookie mistake by that savage. You never turn your back on an opponent, especially a former champion.

Kravinoff slowly starts fighting his way back to his feet. He finally makes it, but Kurtesy takes him right back down with a dragon screw. Kravinoff screams out in pain and clutches at his knee. He screams even louder as Kurtesy locks in an Indian deathlock. After a few moments of agony, Kravinoff is able to stretch out and grab the ropes, forcing Kurtesy to release the hold. Kurtesy motions at Crashin and drags Kravinoff over to their corner. Kurtesy hooks in a legbar and reaches up to receive the tag from Crashin. Crashin comes in and runs off the opposite ropes before dropping an elbow on the injured leg of Hunter Kravinoff. He sits up and grabs the injured leg, allowing the Crash-Klinic to hit the Medication or Meditation stereo kicks. Crashin pulls Kravinoff away from the ropes and covers him, 1…2…and Hunter rolls the shoulder to keep himself in the match. Crashin gives Kravinoff a stomp to the knee and locks in the STC, once again putting pressure on the knee of Ugandan wild man. Crashin puts as much pressure on the body of Kravinoff as he can but Hunter still won’t give up. Crashin is clearly getting frustrated as he releases the hold and stomps away at the leg of Kravinoff. A tag is made by the Crash-Klinic. Doug drops Kravinoff with a backbreaker and Kurtesy comes off the second rope with a leg drop. A pin, 1…2…and Kravinoff is able to get his foot on the bottom rope at the last possible moment.

Cohen: How the hell is this match still going!?
Connor: Kravinoff is showing some amazing durability, but he needs to tag in Wasabi Toyota if the Pride of Toyota wants to have any chance of victory in this match.

Kurtesy looks extremely frustrated by stays on Kravinoff with a single-leg Boston crab. This time, Kravinoff is in the middle of the ring, and his face is a portrait of agony. The ref checks on him, but Hunter refuses to give up. After what seems like an eternity, Kravinoff is able to somersault out of the hold and onto his good leg. Kurtesy is still between him and Toyota, but Kravinoff is able to take two hops on his good leg and launch at Kurtesy with a flying knee! Kravinoff screams out as he tries to crawl to his partner after using his injured leg to take out Kurtesy. The Doctor shakes out the cobwebs and tag Doug Crashin, right as Kravinoff tags Wasabi Toyota! The Matsumoto Mauler comes through the ropes and toward Crashin. Toyota hits him first with a throat thrust, then a savate kick. Crashin is out on his feet, but Toyota isn’t done. He let’s out a yell, then folds up Crashin with a belly-to-back suplex. Toyota goes for the cover, 1…2… and a kick to Wasabi’s head by Dr. Kurtesy breaks it up. Toyota makes it back to his feet and chases after Kurtesy, smashing him into the corner turnbuckles. While the ref checks on Kurtesy, Kravinoff rolls into the ring and hits the Double-Underhook DDT on Crashin before rolling out of the ring clutching at his knee. Toyota sees Crashin lying on the mat near the corner, and crushes him with a Bonzai Drop! 1…2…3!

Anderson: The winners of this match, The Pride of Toyota!

The ref and Toyota help Kravinoff to the back as Kurtesy goes to check on his partner. A cameraman follows them in right as Crashin starts waking up.

Crashin: ugggggghhhhh…Steven, I’m sorry, I can’t keep doing this to you.

Kurtesy: Calm yourself, Doug. I know that we have the potential to be great, it’s just a matter of finding what works for us. Here’s what we’ll do. I’ll put in a request to WZCW management for you to have next week off and for me to have a singles match. You accompany me to the ring and give yourself a chance to rest you body and mind. The Crash-Klinic will be at the top of the tag team division in no time.

Crashin slowly gets off the mat and is helped to the back by his partner.

-----------------------------
We cut backstage to Austin Reynolds who's dressed for his match and holding his Elite X Championship, staring straight at a mirror, looking with disgust.

Reynolds: Bateman can't do this to me! I'm the Ratings Winners, and I'll show him why I'm that right now. Hammond's got nothing on me!

He turns away from the mirror and heads out of his locker room up the hall.

Connor: As you can see, regardless of his excuses, Austin Reynolds is in action against Hammond next.

Anderson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

“When I’m Ere” by Roll Deep hits as Scott Hammond steps out from behind the curtain to a mixed reaction. He stares focused at the ring and then has a smirk run across his face as he raises his hand to the crowd and continues down the ramp.

Anderson: Introducing first, from London, England, weighing in at 275 lbs, Scott Hammond!

Connor: Scott Hammond has enjoyed a successful run as Mayhem champion, and now looks to change up divisions with his eyes squarely on the Elite X title.

Cohen: Scott Hammond stuck his nose where it shouldn’t have been at Meltdown and has been given a number one contender match at Meltdown 41. This man hasn’t even proven he can last in the ring with Reynolds.

Hammond bounces in the ring as he waits for his opponent. “Trapt” by Headstrong plays and Austin Reynolds walks onto the stage, Elite X title around his waist. He rubs the belt with both hands before stretching his arms out in signature taunt.

Anderson: And his opponent, from The West Side of London, England, weighing in at 190 lbs, he is the Elite X Champion, Austin Reynolds!

Austin continues to confidently talk smack as he enters the ring. He stretches with his arms out in signature pose and leans back on the ropes, Elite X Title belt displayed for all to see. He stands straight and removes the belt, handing it to the ref. The ref takes the belt to the side and calls for the bell. Austin and Hammond stare each other down. Austin flexes his muscles to which Hammond chuckles at. They lock up and Hammond quickly over powers Austin by throwing him to the mat. Austin tries to lock up with Hammond again and Hammond pushes him to the mat. Austin with a frustrated look on his face as Hammond tells him to bring it. Austin stands ready to lock up again and goes for a knee to the gut. Hammond grabs the leg of Austin and smiles. He grabs him with the other arm and flips him over with a T-Bone Suplex. Hammond goes for the cover and barely gets a 2. He grabs Austin by the arm and quickly stomps on his face. He bends down to apply the Anaconda Vice. Austin squirms and breaks free from Hammond and rolls outside the ring. He shakes his arm and walks around the ring. Hammond rests his arms on top of the ropes and shouts at Austin to come in anytime. Austin hops onto the apron and Hammond runs over to him. Austin drives his shoulder into the gut of Hammond. He then flips over Hammonds back landing on his feet. He turns around and hits Hammond with a Lung Blower. Austin hooks the leg and gets a 2 count.

Cohen: Expertly handling the situation is the champ. Hammond was getting overly confident and Austin made him look green for a minute.

Austin stands over Hammond and aggressively stomps on him as Hammond makes his way onto his feet. Austin goes for an Irish Whip, Hammond reverses. Austin comes running off the ropes and goes for a Leg Lariat. He connects, knocking Hammond to the mat. Austin goes for the pin, 1... 2 Hammond kicks out. Hammond rolls to his knees, but Austin is right there and drops an elbow to the back of Hammonds neck. He wildly swings more forearms across the back of Hammond as the ref counts to 5. Austin stops at 4. Hammond rolls to the turnbuckle and Austin stands over him and starts stomping him. Austin pushes his foot against the neck of Hammond. Ref counts up to 4 and yanks Austin off Hammond. Austin argues with the ref, giving Hammond time to get to his feet. Austin walks up to Hammond and Hammond throws a fist at Austin. He hits him a couple more times and then lifts Austin up for a Military Press. Austin reaches down and gouges the face of Hammond and lands on his feet in front of him. He hits him with a Roaring elbow, dropping him to the mat. Austin waits for Hammond to stand and bounces off the ropes running. Millions and Millions connects off the skull of Hammond. Austin with the cover. 1... 2... Hammond kicks out. An angry look spreads across Austin’s face.

Connor: Frustration is beginning to set in as Austin just can’t seem to keep the big man down.

Cohen: What are you watching. Austin is wearing down Hammond with pinfall after pinfall attempt. One of these times Hammond will not have the energy to kick out and Austin will beat the mayhem bum.

Austin picks Hammond up to his feet and hits a Dropsault, knocking Hammond backwards into the corner. Austin walks backwards to the opposite corner and taunts the crowd, shouting at Hammond. After a few seconds, he starts running towards Hammond. He goes for a Monkey Flip. Hammond catches Austin and holds him high as he walks away from the corner. HAmmond throws Austin up in the air and catches him briefly on his shoulders before delivering a thunderous Powerbomb. Both men lie on the mat as the crowd roars. The ref begins to count to 10. At 6 both men are on their knees. 8 Hammond is standing and shouts out before delivering a clothesline to Austin. He picks Austin up high over his head and throws him down, Military Press Slam. Hammond with the cover. 1... 2... kickout by Austin. Hammond picks Austin up onto his feet and hits him with a snap suplex. Hammond walks over to the closest turnbuckle and climbs onto the second rope. He leaps and hits Austin with a diving headbutt. Hammond goes for the pin. 1... 2... Austin just kicks out. Hammond shouts at Austin and picks him up by the turnbuckle. Hammond hopes onto the second rope and lifts Austin on to his shoulders. Hammond is looking to hit London’s Calling on Austin. Austin frantically kicks his legs and slides out in front of Hammond. He quickly leaps onto Hammond’s shoulders. Frankinsteiner by Austin. Austin crawls to make the cover. 1... 2... Hammond just gets his arm up.

Connor: Austin narrowly avoided certain defeat and came within inches of stealing one away from Hammond.

Cohen: Stealing? The only stealing going on is Hammond taking up too much camera time. Austin is just one more pinfall away from victory.

Austin straddles through the ropes and signals for the Ego Crush. He waits for Hammond to stand and turn around. Austin leaps onto the ropes and fly's at Hammond. Hammond ducks and moves forward and Austin lands on his feet past him. Hammond quickly locks his arms around the waist of Austin and delivers a huge German Suplex flipping Austin over face first landing. Hammond clasps his hands together and looks to put away Austin. Hammond picks Austin up and lifts him onto his shoulders, looking for London’s Calling. Austin reaches and grabs hold of the ropes and fights to not be brought to the centre of the ring. Hammond tries pulling him off and fails. Hammond flips Austin over the ropes, Austin managing to land on the ring apron. Hammond goes to grab Austin, but Austin quickly grabs his head and guillotine’s in off the ropes. Hammond grabs his throat and the ref checks on him. Austin meanwhile shoos the time keeper away and grabs his Elite X title belt. Austin hops onto the apron and Hammond turns to attack him. Austin slams the belt on Hammonds face in plain view of the ref. The ref calls for the bell. Austin pushes the ref out of his way and looks to hit Hammond again with the title belt. Chris Beckford starts running down the ramp and slides into the ring. Austin runs and swings the title belt at Beckford, but Beckford ducks the kick. Beckford goes for a high kick to the face and misses as Austin ducks down and rolls outside the ring. Austin backs up the ramp not taking his eyes off the ring and holds up his Elite X title. Beckford stares down Austin as Hammond slowly makes his way to his feet.

Anderson: The winner of this contest as a result of disqualification, Scott Hammond!

Beckford turns and stares with a focused look at Hammond. Beckford nods his head and Hammond returns the favour. Beckford straddles through the ropes and turns one last time at Hammond. He points at Hammond and tells him he’ll be the one to face Austin. Beckford hops off the apron and starts walking to the back.

Connor: Hammond picks up the DQ win over the Elite X champion, but the real story here is Beckford racing down to save the man he will face at Meltdown 41.

Cohen: Beckford’s a fool. His opponent could’ve been seriously hurt and Beckford would’ve had the advantage at Meltdown, but no Beckford’s a “nice guy” who feels he he should return favours.

Connor: Well Jack, we know you’re not much one for character types. Beckford and Hammond may not like each other, but neither wants to see the other injured heading into their match at Meltdown.

Cohen: It won't matter who wins, cause The Ratings Winner Austin Reynolds will be victorious at Apocalypse.

Connor: Well folks, Ascension is all but done as we still have Everest taking on Garth Black, it's our Main Event and it's up next!.

The “Star Striped Spangle” starts playing as USA comes out onto the stage, he salutes the crowd and heads down the ramp

Anderson: Ladies and Gentleman, please welcome USA!

Connor: USA is going to join us for some commentary, he wants to get a close inspection of Everest, particularly after what occurred on Meltdown

Cohen: If he’s good, then we might have found a replacement for you! Haha!

USA goes past the ring and heads to the announce table, he sits down right next to Cohen and picks up a headset

USA: Evening Ma’am, Cohen.

Connor: Thanks for joining us out here, naturally we will want to get your views on Everest, the man you face at the pay per view.

USA: Well Everest is a man who once fought with honour but now he only fights with pride. While I have no problem with pride as motivation for anyone, Everest’s pride seems more heavily outputting on the rest of our society.

Cohen: Oh boy…

“P.C.P” starts playing as the strobes flash throughout the filled arena as Garth Black enters from the curtain, he gives his spin and then paces down the ring, slapping hands with the fans on his way down and around the ring.

Anderson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Llanfairpw… Llanfairpw…from Wales weighing in at 168 pounds, Garth Black!

Black climbs into the ring and does his spin again to remove his robes and stretches his arms out to the crowd.

Connor: USA, you took on Black’s former tag partner, Phoenix last night, as just mentioned, Everest got himself involved, but what do you make of this break up of the two former tag champions?

USA: What happens between them is their own business, but if Phoenix sees beating me as a way of venting frustration, he has another thing coming!

“Supernova Goes Pop” starts playing the crowd start booing to the arriving Everest who looks ready for action, making his way immediately down the ramp.

Anderson: From Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 205 pounds, Everest!

Everest walks straight around the ring to the opposite side near to the announce table, he gives USA a glance before turning to Garth Black’s direction as he climbs inside the ring, walks straight into Black’s face and slaps him and turns directly to USA, pointing at him sending a message to the patriot. Black doesn’t take too kindly to it and turns Everest around to slap him back and the bell rings. They both lock up in a test of strength as Everest seems to be getting the better half against Black who then rolls backwards to monkey flip Everest who lands on his feet. Everest turns and runs at Black with a clothesline of which he ducks out of, Everest bounces off the ropes as Black hits the mat and Everest jumps over him. On the next rebound Everest grabs the ropes to stop himself as Black leaps in the air in anticipation only to land his feet with Everest in watch as Garth then runs at him and clotheslines him over the top rope to the outside which gets the crowd in an ovation.

Everest gets up to his feet and spots Black making a run at the ropes for a high offence move, so he slides under the ropes back into the ring as Black holds onto the ropes and staggers on the apron giving Everest the chance to dropkick his legs, dropping him off the apron and bouncing his head off of the side. Everest gets outside in pursuit to keep up the offence by grabbing Black’s head and ramming it into the ring post. He takes a few paces away from his opponent, turns around and goes for an enziguri on Black’s head but misses and knocks his foot against the post which he clutches in pain. The referee has counted up to 4 by now as Black slowly crawls back into the ring as Everest clutches onto his foot when the ref counts up to 5. He uses the post to get back to his feet despite a minor hobble and gets himself back in by the time the ref has counted up to 8.

Connor: That kick to the ring post certainly looked painful but this match will continue.

Cohen: Everest refuses to be beaten by countout unless on his terms!

USA: That pride coming into action once again.

Black composes himself for a moment and uses the chance to leap in the air and take down his opponent with a hurricanrana, Everest continues to hold his foot as he holds onto the ropes, Black wants to get offence in, but the referee tells him to back off as he heads over to check if Everest wants to compete still to which Everest shoves the ref and says “YES, who do think I am?” Black’s had enough by now and drags Everest by his injured leg to the middle of the ring and locks in the Black Death which gets the crowd in an uproar, Everest screaming in pain given the earlier injury, but he refuses to tap. The ropes seems far away for Everest to be able to break the hold. But suddenly Phoenix runs down from the crowd and jumps up to the apron as the ref gets up to get Phoenix out of here, with his back to the action, he doesn’t see Everest tapping.

Connor: He’s tapping! It’s over!

Cohen: The ref hasn’t called it!

USA: What the hell is Phoenix doing here? Spoiling a perfectly good match!

Garth is trying to call the ref over but he’s still trying to get Phoenix down from the apron, Garth lets go in frustration and bolts over as Phoenix drops down to the floor on the outside. He grabs a chair from the timekeeper daring Black to come at him but naturally, Black won’t approach him. Everest uses the chance to get some recovery from the Black Death and despite hobbling, still manages to get to his feet as Black turns around and is caught by The Rock Slide which takes both men down but Everest has an arm over him, 1………2………3.

Anderson: Here is your winner, Everest!

Connor: That no good Phoenix…

Suddenly Phoenix enters the ring with the chair and stands over Black with a smile on his face as he mocks his former partner, he takes the chair in both hands and slams it down with full force on Black’s fallen body. He starts counting as he unfolds the chair and grabs a mic from one of the tech crew and sits down in it.

Phoenix: …8….9…10!

You didn’t think it was over did you Garth? Just because you managed to pin me at Redemption means you’re better than me? From where I’m sitting, you’re fair from that right now. And you’ll have to do better if you stand a chance with me at Apocalypse! That’s right Garth, I’ll be facing you one last time where I finally get rid of you from my sights in a Last….Man….Standing…match!

As Phoenix laughs sadistically, USA has gotten up from the booth and heads into the ring to a cheer of the crowd, but Phoenix spots this and bails out immediately, walking slowly up the ramp and still laughing. USA doesn’t look impressed at what’s occurred only it’s caught him off guard as Everest is back up and takes him down another Rock Slide, he’s worn down but slowly gets out of the ring as Black and USA are laid out in the ring.

Connor: I can’t describe what’s just happened. I mean, Garth had Everest tapping but Phoenix cost him that, and he then takes him out and mocks him for it and has announced that he will be facing Garth in a Last Man Standing match. USA came from the desk here to give Phoenix a piece of his mind, only for Everest to take him down with a Rock Slide, it’s unbelievable.

Cohen: Strong messages are being sent to USA and Garth Black, Apocalypse for them might have come sooner than we first thought. But many felt Garth was finally rid of Phoenix, only for this bombshell to hit. But it will be the last time they face off, the count of ten being the difference maker.

Connor:
And this is where we have run out of time unfortunately Ladies and Gentleman. Apocalypse looms nearer each day with scores still yet to settle and we still have some answered questions going on here, but hopefully some will be answered when Meltdown airs in a fortnight. Until then, I am Cat Connors alongside Jack Cohen, we’ll see you soon!
