Anyone think Vickie Guerrero can get heel heat without being attached to a dude?

vickie in my opionion is a great heel character i love to make fun of her whenever she says excuse me but im wondering can she stay in the spotlight of hate unless she is stuck to a man because look at it like this first she was with edge and gave him anything he wanted and then"married him". then she returns for being gone with a guy from the independents i forgot his name and she got back being the assitant gm and i thought we was gonna see it all over again just a new guy replacing edge but it was cut short cause he wasnt that good although i liked when they started having him make fun of her. and now she is doing it all over again but now with dolph ziggler i mean i love to hate her. but her character just pisses me off now cause it seems she cant do anything with being on an onscreen relationship with someone. because she does that is why i mainly stick to raw.

so does anyone agree with me. cause i think she is a one hit wonder on constant replay i mean the la familia was a great story line but do we really need to see something like that each time 1 ends.

Did you hear the heat she got around Eric Escobar when he was insulting her? He wasn't getting over through it (surprised me a bit) but she definitely got her reaction.

Vickie is a heat magnet, she can get a reaction by 2 simple words, on-screen relationship or not. Vickie has the ability to draw a reaction like very few people in this business can.

You said it yourself. People love to hate her, or just simply hate her. There's no more to the story than that, it is indeed all that Vickie needs. She could easily get over without the relationship, and she could've done it from the start. I seriously don't believe that Edge has set up for Vickie to become one of, if not the most over heel in WWE.

Vickie is most definitely a heat magnet, regardless of who she's attached to. I think her attachment to various people is more a way of trying to transfer heat to them. I believe that they are using the philosophy that since no one likes Vickie, if she teams up with someone, then you will automatically not like the new person. That, and if you team up several bad guys, they gain all the more heat because they are the sum of their parts. Or at least, you would hope that's how it works. (I'm not sure if this really made sense. Hopefully this first paragraph will be the weakest of this post).

Vickie's relationships with Ziggler and Escobar operate on two ideas, stemming from the audience's experience of her relationship with Edge. 1) Vickie is going to do whatever she can to make sure her man will win, regardless of how shady or stacked in her guy's favor it might be. Thus, we hate Vickie for the blatant nepotism and disregard for fair play. 2) We dislike the guy she's with because we know he's only with her for the power she wields. Although I think she looked like she had slimmed up the last time I saw her (I could be wrong), she is still not the cream of the crop when it comes to females in the WWE. Thus, we dislike the guy because he's merely using her and hoping to gain an unfair advantage through that.

I think alone, Vickie would still gain the same amount of heat, especially if she keeps on messing with Teddy Long. However, she's a great tool that the WWE believes they can use to help put over other talent, and I don't really blame them for trying.

No she does not need the relationship gimmick to get the heat IMO.
I also think it won't keep being recycled over and over. I think what is happening now in just recycled from the Eric Escobar attempt that failed so Dolph got spotlight in this story instead. So other than Edge it's really only the second time? She plays the role great anyhow.

I could see her as heel GM soon as Teddyis just getting old playa.
More recyled story but I mean Taker has recycled the deadman gimmick for YEARS and nobody complains about that.

I think if it's not broken,don't fix it.

yeah you 2 are right she does really do this to get people over and she is not exactly someone such as a wrestler who needs just themselves a push. but i would like to see her by herself not doing that. just her trying to take over smackdown i mean i know she does that already but i would like to see teddy more often i wanna see them 2 feud together "not fighting kinda fued but im sure you get what i mean" cause my main problem with it is cause you know whoever she with if the are good unlike escobar they will win the titles they are going for. i like heels winning titles but i dont like how they can only get it with her help. cause i got to admit dolph is getting an even bigger heel push not that he rolling with her. and any heel will want to do that for their career. but i dont want to see that nonstop 1 dude after the next. cause even if for story line i dont see edge needing her help maybe dolph but not edge.

Two Words : EXCUSE ME !! <-- That's what gives her the most heat. Everyone (except Matt Striker) thinks she's annoying. She doesn't need a man to give her more heat.

Although, she seems to help her "man" into getting titles and all that, so of course it does help her a little bit, but seriously, she will always get heat.

Yeah, she doesn't need to be in a relationship to gain heat.She can do that by going out too the crowd where they boo her and saying "EXCUSE ME".That is all she needs to do and she will have the whole crowd booing and going nuts at her.She is as some said a heat magnet and she is seen as annoying by the crowd but yet see is entertaining.The annoying part gets the crowd up and then starts the boos and as I said with two words she can have them acting like monkeys.

Come on Vickie could get heat if it was the second coming and she came to the ring with Jesus himself. Honestly all she has to do is go out to the ring alone and say "EXXXXXXXXXXXCUUUUUUUUUUUUSE ME! EXXXXXXXCUUUUUUUUUUSE ME!" and the crowd will drown out everything else she says regardless of if she's alone, with a guy, diva, group, horse, etc. It is true that the reason she was able to get so much heat is by aligning herself with Edge and wreaking havoc by keeping the world title on him at all costs but she has been able to stay as one of the most over heels in the WWE years after she and Edge stopped being an onscreen couple. In other words she found her wrestling nitch and never looked back.

It's not so much that she needs a handbag but how many different storylines can they put her in?
Despite being from a wrestling family she is not in-ring talent. They tried her with Laycool - similar to being used by a dude to get an edge - but it couldn't last because she was "fair game" for physical retaliation
She's done the GM thing and La Famiglia, can they be recycled?
I don't think the GM thing can be after the brief try (1 night?) on RAW but I'd like to see her manage stable. The love interests could always be a good way to add or remove people from the group and add to the storylines

I liked vickie better as a face because people seem to forget that she is eddie gurrerros wife. I mean they probably wouldnt boo her if eddie was still alive. And she is better off as GM because teddy isnt doin such a good job in my books like he used to a couple of years ago. Vickie did a much better job then he did. And for her to become face again she should probably srew over dolph ziggler and when Undertaker returns she should help him out with the world title. People probably would'nt boo her after that.

Wow, yeah she is a HEAT MAGNET. She is the only reason Ziggler is getting any heat right now. She is a great heel, and the crowd just can't stand the bitch. When I hear "EXCUSE MEEE!" I literally wanna hit something, so she can definitely draw heat. For Vickie, her biggest problem would be how much heat she can draw... the crowd just boos her for a long ass time and sometimes it interferes with the segment. Vickie is way better than most of the guys she gets stuck with.
