Anyone else mark out for Lita's music

I'm guessing this should be in the Smackdown! section...

Anyway, during Alberto Del Rio's retirement "party" for Edge, he said something like, "It's good to have friends. I know you remember her Edge, so here SHE comes."(Damn. I just saw this and I forgot what he said). Out of nowhere, Lita's theme was blaring over the loudspeakers, and you heard by far, the best, non dubbed pop of the night. I got excited, only to be horribly disappointed when it was some slob. Was that offensive?

Anyway, considering that she is one of the last greats of women's wrestling, and considering what she's done for the business, and just as a fan, did you mark out(at least somewhat) when Lita's music played? Would you have marked out if she did show up?

I was just about to make a thread will almost the exact same title.

But dude, YES. I marked the FUCK OUT. I was actually getting a bit off my seat and was centimeters away from my computer screen saying 'Let it be her, let it be her!'. I was really disappointed when it wasn't her. I can honestly say I don't remember the last time I've been that excited while watching WWE. (HHH tombstoning Taker got me off my seat, but not this much)

But no, I don't think it's offensive at all. Just getting people's hopes up and making Del Rio seem like more of a dick.

I would have marked out if Lita had shown up because she was one of the best divas ever and she has been missed. It was a good way to get some heel heat by tricking the fans into thinking she was back even for a moment. The division could sure use her at the moment, it has only consistently grown worse after she left. Great music, good on the mic, awesome in the ring (for a diva), impressive heel character.... What wasn't there to like about Lita? If only she had really returned.

I was about to get excited but halfway through, i thought that there is no way and sadly i was right. I had not seen her in action but i had heard she was along the lines of trish stratus in wrestling so i really wanted to see at least one match from her. but del rio did his job, he got me to hate him that night which was his goal and he did it well.
