I hadn't actually heard them before but a friend of mine gave me their new cd. Really liking it so far. Reminds me a bit of Blitz by the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs.

That first song is quite good, definitely reminds me of the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, but a bit less arty and more pop oriented.

I kinda like it. It has a really genuine sound about it and I like that. I also think that lead singer is both very good vocally and is also quite attractive. Which helps.

Now, go listen to some AC\DC and come back and tell me that you love them.

Good to hear its not just me I tend to get really into a new pieces of music before realising sometimes after a week or two that its not quite as good as I thought.

Sorry Dave I don't think that AC/DC bug is ever going to bite. One of my ex's was a fan and no matter what I couldn't get into them. There just isn't enough there for me.

Well I like Arcade Fire and there are a number of good post rock bands. I also like the lumberjack song too- isn't that from Canadian inspiration

Canada has produced some good bands, especially in the metalcore and hardcore scenes. Plus, they gave us Neil Young. Which makes up for Bryan Adams. Almost.
