Announce yourself as part of the Tournament in here....

Yes, it first ended Sunday, but due to the small entry size, I'm going to extend it through next Sunday if it gives time for more people if that will allow for more entries. I myself had two family emergencies get in the way from Thursday-Sunday which made it impossible for me to get on here, so I'm going to allow the same for those whose life has gotten in the way. Anyway, anyone who wants to crank out a match between now and Sunday the 4th, at 11:59pm can do so. I had so many people make requests about things I couldn't possibly accomodate about changing it to different times and I simply couldn't based upon the variety of requests, to be honest. So if you still want to get something done by next Sunday, you're welcome to.

I likely wont do this again because of the incredible number of people who dropped out as compared to those who showed initial interest and signed up, either not to post at all, or drop out last minute. If I can get ten by the end of the week, Ill consider it, but otherwise, Im unlikely to do this again.

Like I said LSN, as soon as some of the 'bigger' names dropped out, it lost it's steam. I think we clearly have evidence that tournaments don't work here on BT. I was going to do it until I saw the number who'd dropped out and then I couldn't be bothered no more. I didn't think it was worth it.

I think it would have been advisable to let people post matches from their current BT if they wanted to. If you'd done that, I think people would have copied and pasted them in no problem. Maybe that is something you could consider letting people do?

p.s. I think you've done a great job trying to organise this, still. But I'm not sure BT is big enough for a tournament. Not yet anyway!

Well, seeing how the first match was Bookers Choice, you could have done whatever you had wanted. I dont recall saying no to that GCB.

You still could if you chose. You still have til Sunday. I know what youve said, youve made it quite clear. If you had mentioned this at nytime before, you would have found that this would have been easy: you could have posted a match of your choosing. It was never brought up to me, Id be more then willing to accomodate.

LSN, maybe the main eventers were too scared to take on the new kids on the block. ;)

What if they had lost!!!

Think of the controversy! Think of the reputations!!

Before that, I fully intended to take part. When I saw that people had dropped out, that put me off so I dropped out. I'd not really considered posting an 'old' match which is why it never came up. IMO, tournaments need to be short and sweet and I think people have been put off by talk of three rounds so they quit. I didn't quit because it was three rounds but I certainly lost a little enthusiasm for it as it looks to be turning into a chore rather than a bit of fun. So when Proph and Peep dropped out, I decided to drop too because there's not enough incentive for me to take part and try to win without those guys in it.

Haha. Maybe.

Now that I have opened the floodgates with entering one of my previous matches from BT into the competition, I think you might see some of the established guys picking out a match to enter. Anyway, I would class you as a main eventer GrandSword, you're #3 in the ratings. What I meant was that without the more established names like Prophet and Peep, there isn't as much 'prestige' to winning it. I'll enjoy beating you ( ;) ) but I'd rather beat Proph and Peep and Theo because they've been here longer and I know them better. Your show is good but you've not proven you can sustain it ... yet.

Anyway, my match is in. Triple H vs. Sheamus, 3 Stages of Hell. I don't think it is my best match ever but it's got more of an epic feel to it. I'd class my Team RAW vs. Team SMACKDOWN match, my Nexus vs. Team Orton and Cena vs. Kofi matches as better than it but I decided this was the 'epic' one I'd go with.
