I will be looking forward to your future banning:icon_smile:

I'm sorry, but this comment is very OTT even for Paulie.

Let's face it.

A PPV headlined by Any Wrestler Known to Man vs Sting would sell a hell of a lot more than Any Wrestler Known to Man vs Ric Flair. With Ric, he seems---at least in my eyes---stale, and old. Sting has some (pardon the pun) flair to him. People wanna see Sting because of his gimmick and persona. Flair's gimmick the past few years is being Ric Flair and wrestling. Sting's has been a mysterious loner that stands up for what he believes.

Sting > Flair
HHH = Wrong

He didnt say Sting didn't draw, its really been taken out of context. What he said was "Sting did he best business with Flair and never did anything like he did with Flair again. Don't get me wrong, he did do good business, but his best was with Flair". Apart from the Hogan feud you could agrue that is true.

Triple H never drew outside Rock and Austin.

And that is why we are forced to watch HHH being pushed to the moon for the rest of his days because of that insecurity. HHH knows this but will try his hardest to defy it, i mean fuck you either get him sqaushing people, beating a whole roster or 'letting' someone else do it and then coming out and destroying THEM, thus again making him better than the whole roster.

There was a time when i did enjoy a HHH match but that was many a moon ago. People will say 'you dont know him personally so how can you judge him' well thats simple, from hearing ALL the reports from however many years and by following his career it makes perfect sense, everything is to make HHH look good, fuck everyone else. Ok yes he has been kind enough to lose for some but overall its people he feels he helped make i.e Cena, Jeff's main event run ect or are close friends like HBK or Flair (who still had to cheat to win lol).

The only other time i can say i have seen HHH lose cleanly was against Taker at Wrestlemania and the thought process for that was obvious, upto then HHH had been on his burying path as usual and the fans were picking up on it so his lose to Taker was to counteract that, knowing he wouldnt lose any momentum by losing to a legend such as Taker which is why it was pretty much a 1 sided match, to make up for all the sqaushing he had done so far.

As for the Sting comment its just another attempt to build his legacy by being Flair's biggest 'friend and promoter', always seeing how close they are 2 each other and of course how much WWE praise Flair, i think his logic would be:
HHH: Ok i have me sqaushing everyone in sight and we have WWE making Flair out to be God so for me and Flair to be so close its because WE (well me really) are the best the businness has ever seen.

LOL:

The Rock says, Triple H you go on Sunday Night HEAT, you do your little interview with Jim Ross and you cry like a baby: "Ngah, ngah, ngah, they sat there and kept me down for five years! For five years they kept me at the bottom of the barrel!" Well The Rock says they didn't keep you at the bottom of the barrel just 'cos you wanted to say goodbye to your roody poo friends in Madison Square Garden. No, The Rock says they kept you at the bottom of the barrel becuase you absolutely suck!

Rock FTW! It is a real shame he left, dont get me wrong its the best thing for him but WWE would have been a much better place with him in it. And of course we could have had him being the ever so popular guy he is 'holding' down HHH for a few more years. I think that he shoud come back and not have to wrestle, just put HHH down in front of the crowd every week just for the sake of it. It would go something like this:

Rock: Tell me HHH, what have you dont to make you the best?
HHH: Well... umm i have 13 (or whatever it is now) title reigns under my belt, and ummm. ermmmmm
Rock: It doesnt matter what youve done, you will always be a ass licking, Stephanie fucking, cry baby roody poo candy ass.

And it would go on in this format everyweek, and the best part is it would be great and HHH could then be telling the truth when he says he is drawing in the most fans every week! :D

As long as we get to see Cena buried as Undertaker's 17th WrestleMania victim, I'm happy. Oh yeah, and Evan Bourne should win Money in the Bank. Or Kennedy again. Just to see another post-match promo like that one at WrestleMania 23, because, seriously. DAMN.

The fact that you had to say "apart from the Hogan feud" pretty much kills all credibility of Triple's H statement. That's the point.

Furthermore, it just so happens that Hulk Hogan is the one man everyone knows was superior to Ric Flair, so of course, Triple H refuses to acknowledge his presence.

HHH can't draw either. 1998-2001, WWF/E was pulling in ratings in the 7's. Fast forward through the HHH era, and raw barely pulls in 3's.

Trips is the biggest draw ever. The best at drawing people away from raw and on to reruns of friends, or seinfeld.

What the hell are you talking about? I'm thinking you might be in the wrong thread?

I was just pointing out how dumb it is for Triple H to use that argument against anyone. I also laughed when he said the point of a feud is for both guys to come out looking better. By my calculations, that would make him the worst all time.

Just out of curiosity where are the numbers that prove Sting ever drew, as they say? Sting vs. Hulk Hogan isn't really a good example because Hogan was the DRAW, Hogan could draw with anyone and has so that doesn't prove anything about Sting. What other proof can someone give that Sting's been a draw? Has he been a draw in TNA? Nope. I'm not by any accounts anti-Sting because I'm a fan of him and have been watching him since the blond haired, colorfully painted Sting ages ago.. but if people are going to defend Sting and slam Triple H then you really should have facts to back up your arguments and not just "beliefs". Sting hasn't changed the ratings in TNA at all.

Also, the hate on Triple H is silly. So is the quote above because as many examples as someone could use to show Triple H doesn't do that, you can find as many exampes to prove that he HAS done exactly that. Back in the day, before they became huge stars, Triple H and the Rock made each other in their feuds and its a prime example of the exact statement he said. Wrestlemania he lost to Chris Benoit by tapping out and helped make Benoit look unbelievably great, Wrestlemania he tapped out to John Cena to help Cena look great in that feud and be seen as the top dog, Wrestlemania he lost to Batista to elevate Batista into the main event where the Animals remained. People need to stop having blind hate for anyone, as there's always two sides and always a positive and a negative. It's never black and white like some people try to portray.

People also need to stop using the Attitude era ratings as examples of how far the ratings have fallen, or laying blame on any of the wrestlers (such as Triple H in this example) since the arguments got a number of holes. The wrestling business as a WHOLE has changed drastically, its lost the boom it was in at the time of those ratings.. its lost everything that made that time so huge so OF COURSE the ratings have dropped drastically. Its part of the cycle of wrestling. The WWE is still one of the highest rated shows on ALL OF TELEVISION, so what does that tell you? That's the only comparison you have to make. Comparing the present to valid things in the present, you can't compare the present to the past as its an entirely different world.

Compared to Hogan. Ric Flair couldn't draw flies even if he was made out of cow shit!

That is because unlike Hogan, Ric Flair was not an orange, steroid using, six foot eight, three hundred pound, no-talent hack. Hogan drew because Vince made him that way. Vince loves big men that can't wrestle.. And the thing is, they are marketable. Cena, Warrior, Batista, Hogan..

No he was just a bottle blonde, flabby, short and completely unentertaining hack who survived on politics and hype.

And Vince doesn't like big men, he likes guys with tattoos. Duh!

Combination of both I'd say. The young guys and the mid card were the focus all night. There was a great balance to it.

I about shit myself, only one Divas segment, two matches that were interrupted by commercials, and only one promo, that's a fucking wrestling show

I'm sorry, I'll calm down. TNA was doing so good until the middle of last year too, what the hell happened.

The middle of last year? No man it's been shit almost since Angle made his debut. I'd say Genesis was the first PPV that had the same template as all other that have followed.
