Well, Ness is Gamestop exclusive. He's not as important as Rosalina was, but recalling how difficult it was to get her amiibo, I will go through a similar ordeal by waiting at Gamestop on 5/28 for the Ness release. Looks like Robin is a standard release, which is a relief. I really want both the Robin and Ness ones. Palutena will be up there as well in priority regardless of if she goes exclusive or not. I'm tempted to get the pack for Splatoon that the Squid comes in. Jigglypuff and Greninja are exclusive as well so for anyone who wants those that lives in the US.... get ready to wait in line.

I've got the Splatoon pre-orders as well as the June release preorders on a site I often use. Strangely Nintendo haven't got this up yet.
So that's Shulk, Ness, Lucina, Robin, Greninja, Jigglypuff, Olimar, Dr. Mario and Bowser Jr. I need to get ordered.

Now which a UK release date get announced. I do like the detail on it, the gold looks good and the red M adds a touch to it.
It looks shiny and awesome. Alright Lee, what happens? Does he work the same in Smash Bros as the classic Mario does? What about in Mario Party? I'm curious. Still tempted to try to find one on Amazon or something if the prices aren't ridiculous. Congrats on finding one. 5/29 will be a big day for me what with Ness, Robin, and the Splatoon sets coming in. I might get them all at once.

I would much prefer if this was the classic variant. The detail on his jeans is good but I'm not too big a fan of the see through things propping him up.

Looks more cartoony than I expected, but I like that. Like Bowser he's too big for the base.

I managed to get Ness. They didn't have a midnight release just first come first serve this morning and it started right when I had to be at work. Luckily I have a friend who works at the local Game Stop. Robin's next on my list. The Splatoon set and the game itself are gonna have to wait due to current finances. Palutena in July is my highest priority once I find a Robin.
So apparently there is a Silver Mario also that also got released on 5/29. Had I gotten Gold Mario I'd be a whole lot more interested in Silver Mario.... Still pretty cool though.

Yeah I still need Shulk, Ness, Robin and Lucina (the last three having been out for a month in the UK). I also need to get the classic Peach/Mario. Gold and Silver Mario still don't have a UK release but I imported Golden Mario. Suppose Silver will need to be done too.

I'm already going to have to look for Robin now (my friend could only get me one so I asked for Ness due to exclusivity) might as well throw Gold and Silver Mario in too if I find them. Agreed! Classic Wario's look is much better than the one they used on the Smash Warrio Amiibo. They'll probably make both Waluigi and a Classic Wario as part of the Mario Bros set. Waluigi would join Toad as the 2nd (disregarding the Splatoon set) Amiibo to not work on Smash Bros. If we're talking new Amiibo ideas you know who I want to see? Pink Gold Peach. They already have the Gold & Silver Mario's, so why not Pink Gold Peach? She could unlock a suit in Mario Kart and then still function as a regular Peach in Smash Bros.
Just found out also that Lucas and Mewtwo are getting Smash Bros Amiibos. Release dates are TBD.

Four new Amiibo, neither are out in the US yet.
First up is Palutena which is released next month in the US.
The colours on this is pretty good, I like the vibrant greens and the staff looks great.

4 more weeks and I'll go looking for Palutena! September is going to be a big month. Mr Game & Watch and the Duck Hunt dog are tempting. I'm a little disappointed in them making a set for the Mii fighters, I don't think there should be Amiibos for them but whatever. I doubt I'll get Chibi Robo. I don't play Animal Crossing so I definitely won't be getting any of those. Other than Isabelle and KK Slider through Mario Kart and Smash Bros respectively, I've never heard of any of those characters. KK Slider is awesome, might get his depending on what other games he is compatible in. Would be cool if Isabelle worked in Mario Kart although she probably won't.
