I'd forgotten Lethal had won it until he was mentioned in this thread. That's how little I care about him. For a guy who has little personality and, realisitically, is going to sink or swim on the laurels of his ability to entertain in the ring, I've always found Lethal to be rather bland. Red at least has the ability to fly and amaze with the best on national television these days, which is why it's always surprised me that TNA doesn't use him more. Ideally, you want to put people on the screen who capture the imagination. Red does that. Lethal doesn't. So if you want someone to reignite interest in the in-ring aspect of this division, Red is really the best choice at the moment. As such, I hope he doesn't drop back to Lethal too quickly. Aaaannnd... shit, he already has.
I woundn't mind seeing the belt on Williams, Kendrick, and (in the future) Shelley, as they have great personalities that can still do a tonne for the division. But that's beside the point now.
