Shawn Michaels never faced The Rock.
I think a lot of people miss Shawn, but I think he had the right idea getting out while he was still relevant and while people still respected what he could do in a wrestling ring. I can respect that more than I can guys like Hogan and Flair who have overstayed their welcome by a large margin and really have nothing left to give, yet they feel an almost compulsive need to stay out there. And I understand loving the business too, but there has to be a limit somewhere, both dudes are pushing 60. But back to Shawn, his last two Mania matches with The Undertaker were classics and it's awesome that he's going to be remembered for getting such a wonderful send off and for being great right up until the very end. We may miss him, but I'm sure that he's enjoying life at home with his family, and at the end of the day, that's really what matters more than anything else.
