After two years in Office, what are your thoughts on President Obama?

President Obama has now been in office for about two years and I was wondering what people think of the job he's done as President?

Has your opinion of Barack Obama changed since his Presidential Campaign?
Has it changed for better or worse?

Are their certain issues you wish President Obama would take care of and hasn't?

And what has the President done or accomplished that you approve of?

I like him, wish people would stop being dicks about health care.

I very much approve of the repeal of DADT.

He hasn't really done anything substantial. Listen, I'm not going to rip him for allowing gays to join the military, but I think it's laughable to consider this as important as some of the things that he could have accomplished. He handled the BP incident like an amateur, he failed to put more of a tax burden on the rich, and he'll probably look like a scared little kid in over his head when shit goes down with Iran and the two Koreas go to war with each other.

He has completed at least 80% of his campaign promises in his first two years alone. The President and the Congress have done more in the last few weeks than most Presidents do in one term. I think he is playing the card that was dealt to him with the economy. It doesn't matter who is in office, it will take a long time for the economy to completely recover. Considering the obstacles he has to overcome with Republican filibusters and the economy, I think he has done a good job.

There is much more he could do to stand up for himself and the American people, but overall he has done more than I thought he could do. The main issues for the next 2 years is economic growth and the war in Afghanistan.
