Stephanie: That was Headquarters on the phone, Bobby.
Bobby looks up from the floor where he and Calvin are playing quietly. A look of concern crosses the face of the WZCW Superstar as he waits for the news he always knew was coming.
Stephanie: They want you in Germany by Friday.
Bobby searches for words but cannot find them as his wife slumps down on the nearby couch. Quietly, he stands up before crossing the room to her and setting himself down beside her. Bobby could sense that she was disappointed with the news, even if she wouldn't say so herself. She had given him the choice of WZCW or his family weeks ago but nothing had ever come of the request. Especially not after what had come of his Mother.
Bobby: I'm sorry, Steph.
Stephanie nods slightly in begrudging appreciation. Bobby had spent six weeks at home with her and she had gotten too used to it. He was a WZCW Superstar and she knew that sooner or later he would be back on the road. But it didn't take away the pain when the idea became a reality. Truth be told, it was just good to see him again. The break from WZCW whilst their annual All-stars show was produced came at the right time for Bobby and his family. The news of Betty's accident, coupled with the dilemma of being either a family man or a company man had weighed heavily on the heart and mind of Bobby.
Bobby: I thought I could maybe hold on a bit longer but...
Bobby's speech trails away as a tear begins to fall down the cheek of his beloved wife. Turning to him, she smiles before standing up and leaving the room.

Chunk: You win, you win!
Bobby crawls off Chunk after planting him with a scoop slam that rocked his ally to the very core of his bones. With a smile on his face, Bobby stands up and raises his hands into the air.
Bobby: Here is your winner, Bobby Adams! Ahhh! The crowd are going crazy as Superstar Bobby Adams slams The Crusher into a thousand pieces!
Chunk lets out a slight laugh as he is helped from the canvas by his best friend.
Chunk: Yeah, yeah. Okay, you got me this time.
Bobby smiles at Chunk as he walks over to the corner of the ring before perching himself on the top turnbuckle. Looking down at a sweaty Chunk, Bobby lets out a relaxed sigh. It was times like this that Bobby had missed. Since his mother's accident Chunk had been an amazing support. He had visited the hospital, taken care of Betty when he could and even found time to hang out with Bobby like nothing had ever happened between them.
Chunk: But you're going to have to be better than that in Germany, son.
Bobby: And you'd know this, how?
Chunk reaches into his sports bag under one of the turnbuckles and retrieves a bottle of water. Pouring some of it over his face and then into his mouth. Bobby waits anxiously for an answer to his question.
Chunk: This guy Coberer... He's a dangerous dude. You might not have been watching WZCW outside of your own matches but he's really been putting people away recently. And need I remind you that he won the Contract Battle Royal that you competed in? Or has your Superstar brain been turned to mush with flashing lights and Celebrity?
Bobby smiles at Chunk before both of them share a laugh.
Bobby: You don't have to tell me his accomplishments, Chunk. I know this guy too well. He may have gotten the better of me in the Contract Battle Royal match but I certainly paid him back for that before Redemption.
Chunk: Yeah, and how did that work out for you? Oh, I remember. He came back into the match and probably cost you a shot at the Elite X Championship.
Bobby and Chunk stop talking for a moment, the verbal jab from Chunk hitting a raw nerve with Bobby, a sour look crossing his features. Before too long though, a smile reappears.
Bobby: You know something, Chunk. If I had won that match, I could have finally put all of this nonsense with Stephanie behind me. She would have known that I was going something, that I had a chance of making it.
Chunk slumps into the opposite corner from Bobby, sipping at his water as he intently listens to the heavy-hearted problems of his best friend.
Bobby: Sometimes she looks at me like she doesn't even know me any more. Since I started with WZCW, she's been different. I know it must be hard for her to be away from me but it's hard for me too. Just this once I want to show her that I can do this. I want to be successful in this business Chunk. I want to make a life for myself and my family without having to worry about where the next pay-check is going to come from. I don't know, I just thought it would be easier than this is all.
Chunk sits quietly for a second, digesting the information.
Chunk: You know something, Bobby, you're in a position that a lot of guys would kill to be in. You've got a great family, a great job and a wife that loves you. Hell, I'd love to have your problems.
Bobby smiles slightly but turns his head away.
Bobby: You don't understand.
Chunk: No, I do understand, Bobby. I understand better than most people. Right now, you're just torn. And what you've gone through these last couple of months would leave anyone in the same predicament as you, trust me. But eventually the dust will settle and you and Steph will work it all out. Right now is the hardest part and it seems like a long way off. But you need to keep fighting for it, Bobby. Nothing worth having comes easy.
Bobby: I know, it's just hard. How can I compete in the ring when I don't even know what's happening at home? And Coberer is making life difficult foe me right now. I know that if I show him any sort of weakness on Aftershock, he'll crush me. I need to just put it out of my mind.
Chunk stands up and tosses his water bottle out of the ring, making his way across the ring somewhat.
Chunk: Listen, Bobby. You've got what it takes to be successful, you always have. Coberer is a dangerous guy, sure. But don't forget that it was you that eliminated him from the Elite X Championship match. Don't forget that you have the psychological advantage in this match because he's the one who needs revenge. He's the one who needs to prove that it was a fluke.
Bobby drops down from the top rope and makes his way into the centre of the ring where Chunk is waiting for him.
Chunk: Coberer is talented but he's primed for the taking Bobby. You just need to go out there and relax. Do what you do best and show the world and Stephanie that what you're fighting for is worthwhile. Show them that you're not going to give up until you've did it all. This is your chance, Bobby. You've just got to go and take it.
Bobby smiles at Chunk before nodding understandingly.
Chunk: And he can avoid you all he wants, crawl around the outside of the ring and try to play the psychological game. But at some point in the match he's going to have to get in that ring with you and all of the games mean nothing. In there, you've got to show him that you mean business and that you're just as dangerous as he is. That's your chance, Bobby. But you're going to have to be sharp. You're going to have to be ready for anything and you'll do it.
Bobby allows a smile to cross his features as he and Chunk pound fists respectfully.
Chunk: Now let's do this!
Chunk runs at Bobby and lands a knee to the gut as both men begin practising once more.
