Aaron Hernandez Appears To Be In Big Trouble

Aaron Hernandez was arrested.

Aaron Hernandez was also cut by New England. Major props to the Pats for not even bothering to wait.
 
Yeah but if he's acquitted, they're assed out a tight end. I wouldn't be going back to a team that showed me zero support and there will be a lot of teams knocking down his door if he becomes available again.

Unless they have a good reason to believe that he's going to be unavailable.
 
The Pats are widely known for not putting up with bullshit. They take the occasional chance, ie. Ochocinco, Haynesworth, but mostly they try to avoid any attention that doesn't come from winning games. I'm not surprised they cut him.

This also means since Gronkowski is questionable I'm pretty sure I know where Tebow will be lining up a lot.
 
The Patriots had plenty of time to think this over and look at all the details available to them. Plus training camp is on the horizon, and they don't need the distraction. They did what was in their best interest right now, even though it does seem a little classless at first look. We'll be finding out the charges in just a little bit.
 
Even if he's acquitted, his being involved with this in any way has been a MAJOR black eye on the Patriots and the NFL, so they told him to fuck off. Besides, he wasn't gonna be playing in 2013 anyway, because Goodell would suspend him pending the criminal investigation, and would probably end up missing all year at least.

Good for New England. I hate the Pats, but they stood their ground and told the world how they feel about this situation. Much respect to Kraft, Belichick, and everyone in New England for doing what they felt was right.
 
Hernandez is being held without bail.

He is going directly to jail. He does not get to pass go. He does not collect $200. He also won't get out by rolling doubles.
 
What was with the keeping the arms in the shirt while handcuffed thing? Is this a law enforcement move or the hottest thing in criminalism?

Please help, if I get arrested any time soon I want to make sure I do it with the utmost swagger.

That picture is ridiculous. He looks like a thugged-out Zachary Quinto.

And if all of this comes together and is true, he deserves whatever he has coming to him- for being a killer, naturally, but also for being a moron.

He wasn't wearing a shirt when they arrested him and they let him put one on after they cuffed him. You see it all the time on The First 48.

Moron isnt really a strong enough word for the level of stupidity this involves. Im still searching for one.
