A Paul Heyman Girl?

However, Heyman teased that his next "client" MIGHT be female. This has led to fan speculation that Heyman could be talking about the inaugural and reigning NXT Women's Champion, Paige.

The notion of Heyman recruiting a female client from NXT is intriguing and, generally speaking, I think that Paige is really the only logical choice at this time, if there's any truth at all to this. Paige most definitely has the ability, the passion and the type of character to be a most refreshing addition to the Divas on the main roster. Her anti-Diva persona immediately helps her stand out and I've little doubt that it would generate interest.

Really? A female. Maybe I'm a massive sexist, or maybe I think Heyman should concentrate on Curtis Axel before he gets another client. I'm really not sure.

Though I suppose having a female under his tutelege wouldn't take away from Axel. In theory anyway. Curtis is so dull anybody could steal his spotlight.

If indeed they are going to recruit a 'Paul Heyman Girl', the only option is Paige. Even though she has JUST turned 21, she has been with WWE for years, so she has 'paid her dues' of being on NXT developing character, mic skills etc.

For those who don't watch NXT, Paige portrays herself as 'The Anti-Diva', she doesn't get dragged into the dancing nonsense of the likes of Emma and Summer Rae, she cares solely about wrestling and kicking the ass of anyone who gets in her way, so she fits perfectly into the mould of what Paul Heyman would want

It would be something different to see Heyman managing a female wrestler that's for sure, I would be interested to see how it would go. Like everyone else is saying, the only logical answer to who this female could be is Paige.

She will be coming up to the main roster in the near future I would expect and who better to guide her through her early months in the company than Paul Heyman. However, Heyman still needs to work his magic on Curtis Axel, who has done absolutely nothing worth talking about for weeks now.

Is he still even the IC Champion? I don't even know. That says it all.

dont watch nxt but heard great things about Paige. Lets just hope WWE doesnt ruin it someone by changing her gimmick or having her lose to the Bellas or somethnig

They've dropped the ball on Axel so bringing up a female maybe a kick start. Maybe she's Axel's valet at first to add interest to Axel because he's as stale as bread and maybe the winning by having her and Heyman helping might garner some interest.

heyman sucks and heyman makes everyone stale and boring, it could very well be ric flairs daughter. she is in nxt aswell, and wwe just loves 2nd generation stars

I would prefer aksana. She is gold in the ring but lack mic skills and could use heyman in that department. Their has been rumors of aksana turning face and taking the divas title but if this accusation is incorrect then she would be the perfect choice for heyman.

Eh, don't really see it. I think this is just a tease. The reality is that Heyman needs more guys to feed CM Punk in the next couple of months until he can get his hands on Lesnar again. Leo Kruger and Kassius Ohno can fit that role.

However, if there is Heyman girl, Paige would be nice but she is too obvious a pick. Plus, with her looks and appeal, it would be her to boo her (well for me at least). I would rather they go the route of Sasha Banks or Emma.

I have nothing against female wrestlers and i'm not sexist i just feel the dynamic that Paul Heyman creates with his clients just would not work in the divas division...the dynamic just wouldnt work he creates scenes that are just too big and the divas division couldnt carry that kind of intensity

I read the title of this thread and immediately thought of Paige. If he has found a diva to manage from NXT, Paige is the only real choice. Summer Rae is busy with Fandango, and there's no way Emma or Bayley would be paired with Heyman considering their current gimmicks. The only other possibility, and it's unlikely, is that Heyman will be managing Ric Flair's daughter, which would make for an awesome angle, but like I said, it's unlikely.

But if it is Paige, then it's good for everyone involved. Being attached to Heyman has done wonders for a rather mediocre talent like Curtis Axel, so it could turn Paige into the next Trish Stratus. She still needs to improve, particularly on the mic, and Heyman would teach her loads. Paige has that natural likeability about her because she's so different from the bitchy, blonde, enhanced divas we see all the time, and the crowd at NXT has fallen in love with her, so it would be interesting to see her turn heel and join Heyman.

For Heyman, it means a new project to sink his teeth into while Lesnar is away. As far as I know, he's never managed a woman before, so it could make for a very interesting dynamic. I'm looking forward to it if this pairing does happen.

You could be right, but if WWE was ever to try something like this, Paul Heyman might be just the man to bring it off. He could tone down the histrionics and cast himself as a tutor for the diva, rather than a cheerleader. He functions in the latter fashion for Curtis Axel, bragging about Axel's family heritage and ability to wreak havoc. Presumably, the actual (kayfabe) teaching by Heyman happened before Axel was introduced to us.

With a girl, they might play it as if the diva is chock full of natural ability, but in need of "mature male guidance" (ugh!) and as the storyline plays out, she gains more and more aggression until Heyman's success in building a wrestling force winds up coming back in his face as she finally rebels against Paul, probably "going Stephanie" on him in the process.

Who's the girl? While several of the previous posters see Paige as the one, I wouldn't mind giving the position to Natalya. She's been a face for a long time, so the contrast in making her heel would get people's attention.

She has the body and wrestling ability to bring it off. I wanted to see she and Beth Phoenix wreaking havoc over the diva division. Seeing Nattie and Heyman handling the job might be even better.

Mustang Sally I do agree with you Paul Heyman is definitely the right person to attempt something like that yet the two best people who could work with him (Beth Phoenix and Melina) are no longer in the company

I think this would be a pretty cool idea. Despite the effect that Heyman may or may not have on his clients, he would bring a certain credibility to the diva's division as well as to his own stable, seeing as it sort of went tits up when CM punk left when it comes down to charismatic wrestlers. Lesnar is impressive, but part time and has zero mic skills, and Axel has great in ring skills but just looks like a baked potato and again, has no skills on the mic.

I think a female wrestler in the mix would make it a more even playing field, even bringing the mens and womens divisons closer to each other, seeing as the only interaction now going on is between AJ lee, Ziggy and those attached to it.

Paige would actually be a good pick, as she has a no-nonsense style to her and in a way could be a female version of CM Punk in his Heyman days. Imagine something like what Lita was when the Hardyz were still around in WWE. If it's not Paige, then i'd say someone similar, maybe someone like Tamina or even AJ...

For a Paul Heyman girl I honestly think they should go with someone that hasn't been on WWE (from what I've seen) but currently works for them as a trainer, I think Sara Del Ray would be a great choice if a Paul Heyman girl comes into fruition.

She's a fresh face to the WWE audience, she can get in there and wrestle and while doesn't fit a typical diva mold, she certainly fits the mold of someone you would think Paul Heyman would love to be associated with. I think she would be the best way to go personally.

A second choice I think would work would be Natalya. Once again a good wrestler, rich heritage and someone who isn't doing much on television (outside of getting treated like trash by Tyson Kidd and that Bella storyline she is currently in) but if you give her a few month break and have her come out with Heyman I think it would be a good pairing and would definitely help out Natalya.

Overall I'm not against the idea, I could get behind it as long as its someone that fits with Heyman.

He could always get Hervina, that would be a close second. That would make for some funny moments but it's probably not Heyman's style.
