Dark Match Winner
Im tired of all the whining and crying about both TNA and WWE product being bad. First off, it isnt that bad. Could it be better? Of course it can be! Has it been worse? Damn right it has! The wrestling business has been better than has been in years! Its not going to make everyone happy. Im not happy with everything but its been awhile since Ive had legitimate interest in wrestling as a whole. There is finally a choice on Monday and Wrestlemania is here! I dont know about you, but this is the first time in some time WM has interested me as a whole. Im probably crazy writing this because it wont change the majority of your minds but I just want to give you a few points and possibly ease your pain.
TNA is in the middle of a rebirth. Its only been under new management for couple months now. Is it everything I want to be right now? No, but Im not going to bitch and moan like the majority of you wrestling fans. It seems to me that people want TNA to fail. Why the hell would you want that?! Competition is what drives people. It brings the best out of people. You people have to give TNA time to get its identity. Its getting not only the TNA faithful but a whole different audience who hasnt really seen it. Let it establish itself. This past Mondays Impact (3-8-10) was some of TNAs best stuff. Now, Im not saying that it will always be that good but its something to look forward too. Unlike most people it seems, Im going to give TNA the benefit of the doubt for the time being. Ill get back to you in 6 months or so.
WWE on the other hand is on the road to Wrestlemania. Their top show of the year. Is it always going to be great TV? Maybe not, but its been exciting so far. The card overall are main event matches and yet we see and read people who want to bitch about it especially Bret Hart. Hes a 52 yr old man who had a stroke a few years back. To come back and wrestle one last time is pretty amazing to me. A lot of people dont seem to understand that they have been building this match for some time now and people are saying how bad its been done. This is what wrestling is all about ladies and gentlemen. Its about building storylines and feuds. I wish wed see more of that. The PG rating has been a huge deal it seems lately has well. What has really changed, no blood and the use of the word ass? Give me a break! Do I agree with the rating? No, but it hasnt really affected me as much as it seems it has everyone else.
I could go on and on and give you plenty more examples but I hope the things Ive said gives some people perspective. Instead of crying about wrestling all the time, maybe you can show some patience and give it a chance. Otherwise, there are plenty of other shows on TV. Maybe you should change the channel and leave the people who enjoy wrestling the hell alone. While Im not pleased with everything, Im not going to whine and cry about it all the time. Maybe Chris Jerhico is right, maybe all of you are a bunch of hypocrites? For those of you who are with me on this one, keep up the good fight my friends.
