A Challenge For Wes

That's the whole point of wrestling. To draw money.

You must have missed a lot of the Attitude Era PPV's. Most were poor.

No they weren't. They were a hell of alot better than what we get today.

Buyrates weren't too bad neither. So they must have been doing something right PPV wise.

It's not much different than now. For one there are 3 shows now. Most of the big stars, bar The Rock still wrestle or appear.

That is true, 3 shows makes things a hell of alot different, but the quality of each show is piss poor compared to the old days of RAW and SD! and ratings show that.

Sad thing is, both nights back in the day, WWE had competition.

The mid card then was full of nobodies, just like it is now

Not really, it had more depth, it doesn't matter what they went on to be. The mid card nowadays is shit, no depth at all. That's why MVP hasn't defended his title in months, because they have to wait on Hardy.

For WWE. But why do you watch wrestling?

In what way? They were poor then, as they are now.

Buyrates were good in the 80's. But the product was pretty poor.

Not really. Other than a couple of Austin moments you remember there isn't that much difference in quality.

Mid carders today have more of a chance of becoming a main eventer than they did in the late 90's. Now that is because of the brand split. But it's also because wrestlers like MVP & Kennedy are more marketable than Val Venis and Edge were 10 years ago.

To be entertained, and back then I was a hell of alot more entertained. So there.

Meh, more solid matches and build ups.

But the product was pretty poor

To YOU maybe. Tell that to millions of others who watched it.

Not really. Other than a couple of Austin moments you remember there isn't that much difference in quality.

????

Umaga, Kennedy, MVP, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Cody Rhodes, Morrison, Miz, Holly and so on??

Not main event material outside of Kennedy and MVP. Umaga needs more build up, Jeff showed he had potential but that's probably out the window.

But it's also because wrestlers like MVP & Kennedy are more marketable than Val Venis and Edge were 10 years ago.

Outside of those two, who else do you have? Cody Rhodes?
